I don’t own an Elantra N (I have a GR Corolla), but I’ve always liked them and have driven them a lot. Love the content and I’m subscribing to watch the journey on your car. Keep it up! 💪🏾
You're not getting 15 HP from the inlet. Nobody has independently dyno'd an inlet so we don't know what it yields. One TH-camr has already dyno'd with the inlet and intake and he only gained 7 HP which is in the margin of error ie on another day he might gain 0HP.
@@michaelk2979no that’s with octane learning. Without you peak at 16 and stay at 15 where as with no parts on the car octane learned you peak at 19 and sometimes at 20 then drop to 17 whereas from what I understand his is dropping to 18 after peaking. I have just the intake from SXTH and mine hold 18 a little better but not much. I still need to get the inlet to notice and PSI difference. But also those PSI screens are not the most accurate.
You can move the coolant line and shift it if your careful. Ive had EVERY inlet on my car, they all lost torque dow (minus one) because with the "go big or go home" mentality, the air travels slower because of the increased cross sectional area diameter and you lose some power off the line/ from a red light. Went back to stock for the time being until someone comes out with a variable diameter one that is velocity flow tested.
Have you noticed much of a difference in sound between the stock and the bigger inlet? I have the forge intake which makes ALLL the noise, and I love it, but I feel like going from the 3" induction pipe to the 2" inlet causes a bit of a funny high pitched noise at first that Im not a huge fan of. Any validity to that? Or did the sound stay pretty much the same between the different inlets?
Are you using standard N mode or a custom preset? If it’s a custom preset, please share. I have a white 25 N. You're making me want to spend so much money on mods
@@CrazyBrothersStudio1 I typically stay in N standard, but my custom 2 only changes the transmission to sport- this makes the shifts smooth, but more importantly it makes the car pop on every shift. More parts coming soon!
I’ll tell you the most accurate answer to your question. It all depends on the dealership you take it to. Every dealership has different tolerances to different builds, so I would talk to your dealerships parts/service team

@@turbotrouble How does this work with the warranty from hyundai?

What car you drive
I ordered the sxth intake and bov the other day. It gets here tomorrow and I’m so excited to hear how it sounds
@@nicholaspereira8286 if you haven’t already, check out my Ntake & BOV video on it. Sounds way better in person, you’ll love it! Congratulations!
Hi, could you please let me know after changing intake, bov and turbo inlet did you had any turbo psi increase ?? Thank you in advanced
@@michaelk2979 I’m sitting around 18PSI
@turbotrouble Thank you!! I'm guessing this is without octain learning.

Wow that sure is a Big Difference
Nice cinematic ending!
Thank you!

@ the inlet sound made a difference in hp feel along with boosting the natural sound of the intake noise, not changing the pitch
@turbotrouble So was it louder or quieter with the OEM inlet?
@Shamuss727 what you mean going from 3 to 2?...you mean gears?
WOW !!

I may bring my stuff to you to work on!!!😂

My face when I see me stitimg down and taking photos
Yeah the Inlet was the hardest thing I’ve had to install on this car! That coolant line makes it damn near impossible, lots of patience though
If the coolant line was an inch farther back, life would be easy
Stressed the hat off lol
Really did
Lost it
Have any of the mods (or which of the mods) voided your warranty? It’s the only thing keeping me away from similar mods.
