my son in law is a Type 2, he was put on that little shot and a year in his life is totally different. It has improved his quality of life so greatly! he no longer even has the CGM . He lost about 20 pounds (was not really the point he did not really need to loose it) but it has changed his life for such the positive. Good for you for doing the research and deciding for yourself!
This month they came out with a study that Ozempic causes significant muscle decrease, also it affects the heart muscle. Good and bad to all of these things, but I’m glad you’re being cautious!
i tried the new flavor and found it finally at target,,to me was just ok,,,,i could taste coconut and some kind of berry but it tastes like perfume smells,,,i wouldnt get it again,,,peach is my very fav
It's helped me so much with my anxiety and sleep. I do occasionally feel nauseous but it's usually because I have either eaten too much or not had enough water
I'm so glad you're finally looking into peri-menopause/menopause. Every woman is going to go through it whether we like it or not. Some women breeze through it, others struggle. The loss of estrogen and progesterone during peri-menopause will mess with blood glucose, cholesterol and many other things. Peri-menopause women get misdiagnosed with auto immune diseases too. I'm not saying you don't have a legit auto immune disease but, you shouldn't dismiss the fact that peri-menopause could be making some of your symptoms worse. I'm not trying to be preachy. I'm just trying to help as I was struggling too. Check out Dr. Mary Claire Haver. She is THE expert on all things menopause.
I've been using OZempic for 3 months for my type 2 diabetes. Lowered my A1C from 6.5 to 5.4. I had a 'little' nausea in the beginning, but it didn't last but a couple days. I did this retail, so it's expensive. Hoping my Dr will prescribe it for me, when she sees the results. Hope it helps you, when you start. Also would be interested in a video series. It's all over TV in ads, but not much personal info. For me, if I can afford it, I'm gonna keep taking it. I was able to get down to an average blood glucose for 90 days of 103
My dr prescribed ozempic for me. Prior I purchased semiglutide on my own...so i could micro dose. I was tired for a couple of days..but hard to tell if that is just not normal for me
🦋I had a complete hysterectomy over 10 years ago because I was losing so much blood. I had to get blood transfusions. I have MS and migraines. My lesions are same spot as migraines so the 2 things together makes my body miserable. My Dr tried to put me on semiglutide but I have watched a lot videos and wouldn't take it.
I started with ozempic for my T2 and am now on monjauro because my insurance had me change. This has really helped my A1C is now in normal range. I also exercise and try to watch what I eat. I did get a little nauseous at first but have learned to take my shot after eating. I hope it works the same for T1 if you choose to take it.
i am on ozempic and have been for many months,,,i am on it to help keep my emotional eating under control and keep me in maintenance mode after rny yrs ago,,,,,my cardio doc also is glad i am on it due to it showing good results in cardiac health,,,i dont have cardiac issues yet but they do run in my family,,,,i feel great on it,,,the only time i get sick is if i eat something too sweet or greasy,,,besides that i feel good on it and i am full in about 5 bites of food,,,i have also did my shot in at bedtime in cause of nausea but never got it,,,good luck whatever you decide
In Sweden you get OZEMPIC if you have diabetes. you can get it but then it costs 400 dollars a month, If you have diabetes it's free! Thanks for sharing!! Love from Sweden
It's something you might wanna work up gradually because it can cause abdominal issues in some people. I like to have it everyday but haven't in months
I haven’t tried that product so I have no advice but I’m glad you research everything thoroughly before jumping in. Whatever you decide, I wish you luck. I’ve been looking for that new Alani and can’t find it either. I’ve been wanting to try it as well.
Type one diabetic here. I have been taking. Mounjarro since April. My blood sugars have substantially improved. A 1C has gone from 8.0 down to 5.7. all of my numbers have improved, including kidney function. I can’t say enough good things about it… My friend calls me the poster child! I was taking 18 units of long acting every day and six units of short acting with dinner. That to say that I do not follow a keto lifestyle. I have lost 60 pounds. I have had some symptoms, but they are manageable. For example, you can take an over-the-counter supplement called Nisene if you have any type of nausea. I see many folks taking fiber supplements/cultural for constipation. I have not had that issue, but I do believe that the symptoms are manageable. I am only taking eight units of long acting insulin per day now and don’t even have to take short acting insulin unless I eat an extremely carb heavy meal. Even then, I only have to take one or two units at a time.
I'm 58 and have been on a cocktail of meds that mimic Wegovy because my insurance won't cover weight loss medications and I am not diabetic. The latest med I've been on (off label, is really for treatment of seizures) has totally messed be up. Even though it helped with my weight loss, it just wasn't worth it. It made so many of the perimenopausal/menopausal symtoms so much worse. Itchy, crawly skin, tingling and achy muscles, dry mouth, hot flashes, no energy, anxiety...TERRIBLE. I had no energy for anything and often felt dizzy and lightheaded. In other words, I feel your pain. I quit taking the meds a couple of days ago and, though not back to normal, it's much better. Of course, at this age, what is normal anymore? I've been on the low dose HRT and it has helped ease the symptoms, but they still emerge. No getting around it. Menopause sucks. I hope you get some answers. Hang in there.
Love the chicken Parmesan crust! I can only cook/bake the canned chicken so this is perfect! Tysm...I hesitate to try any of those weight loss drugs because of the gastrointestinal side effects 😢 I'll just have to stick with keto and fasting. Love your channel. Been away for a bit. Having mobility issues.😢

All of the energy drinks you take in may be the reason for your increasing insomnia!
Beautiful sunset. I plan to try that pizza salad. Looks yummy.

I take Mounjaro. I find that drinking LMNT helps with a lot of the side effects.

Happy Sunday, do you have a Kroger’s in your area? They might sell Alani drinks
Winter Wonderland has a coconut taste but with a tart aftertaste. It is good, but I wouldn't seek it out again.
My brother is on Ozempic and is diabetic. He does not need insulin, and that is huge, as most never come off of insulin. He’s now Ozempic and diet. 🎉
Thanks for sharing that gorgeous sunset!😃👍 Enjoy your numerous blessings this week 💜 🙏 ✌️ 🎶 🌞 🍃🎃🍁
Thank you! You too!❤

Please tell me more about the collagen messing with your tummy? And do you have MCT oil everyday?

Have you ever read fast like a girl? She believes in fasting that lines up with your cycle. Very intriguing, she also has a TH-cam channel
