(Part 2) High speed freight train action, plus NS leader and KCS on the Union Pacific Sunset Route!

- Welcome to part 2 of the Union Pacific Sunset Route trip! This video has a few different locations, such as Shawmut, Arizona, located about 30 miles west of Maricopa. This area has a nice vantage point where you can see the trains snaking through the hills. Also, we have some more high speed action, including a little bit of foreign power and a couple of smoking locomotives!

I generally film trains on the Union Pacific / BNSF Joint Line in Colorado, but I also travel farther south to catch trains on the BNSF Southern Transcon in Texas and Arizona, as well as the Union Pacific Sunset Route.

There are Over a Million Containers sitting outside the Port of Los Angeles waiting to be Unloaded.
I know, that is truly something… hopefully the train traffic can increase and help out! Just need enough crews!

Absolutely, I keep seeing more and more lumber on rail cars as of lately. The fresh cut wood smells very good, too!
