One GTX 750 i bought like 5-6 years ago had missing components, so i filed a complaint. Aliexpress fully refunded without even needing to send the item back. However, a more polite manner would be trying to negotiate with the seller first and then if that doesn't work out, try contacting aliexpress.
That RX 580 was pulled from a mining farm that oxidization is from them taking a water hose to them after they broke the farm down there are videos online or then doing this
@@ProYamYamPCopen a dispute with seller, attach photo and demand some rebate. If GPU works oxidization alone is not enough for a warranty claim as sellers of such GPUs usually state that it was used
Bought a xfx rx 580 gts xxx edition 8gb for $120 like 5 years back, on that site. But it was missing its thermal pads on the vram modules so the seller gave me $35 back on it. Was a pretty decent deal but you need to check everything.
Very interesting video. Id never buy any PC component on Aliexpress, mainly for warranty concerns. But I have friends who have bought cheap components there and have had 0 issues with them. I guess if you are lucky, and do proper research before buying as you said, your experience might be good.
I fully agree with you mate! I can see why you wouldn’t, and that’s perfectly fine. On the other hand, I saw a decent deal on a Millse RTX 3060, so I might pick that up😅👀
seeing how that 5700 XT is using a vbios from ASUS, I wonder if the undervolting works properly? the AISURIX RX 5700 XT my friend straight up crashes the Radeon control panel when undervolting.
Why are all alixpress gpus more expensive to me compared to newer models on amazon? Like 3000 swedish kronor for the same RX 5700 XT as one example. How much vat do you pay in britain? We have 25% vat in sweden, but that alone doesn't reach up to these insanely high prices on alixpress. Can you put a link up to the place you purchased the card please? 112 GBP is 1500 sek. So here it costs twice as much as you payed?
maybe he got it when they offer discounts and coupons.i also bought one for 105 usd with shipping also ryzen 5700x for 101usd tray and a a520 mb for 42 usd , were i live they dont have vat on pakages so no customs or anything.
I'd skip these rx 580 there, these cards mine through both mining booms and are all at end of life. Many had issues with memory on them after just few months judging by comments online. RDN1 cards are better gamble as they have mostly two year max of mining behind them. I bought there 5600xt, unbranded XFX type cooler, card came packed very good in perfect condition. Cooler was repainted to look brand new, new thermal pads installed (sadly by XFX standard which was wrong from start so I replace them with thicker ones, something everybody do back in time with these THICC coolers) and card work fine even today after who know how many hours of gaming, probably over 500). But it was still a gamble, AE as platform cover you only in first 15 days after receiving package so I can only suggest to anyone who decide to buy GPU there to spend this time wisely and test card with all available torture method you can think off.
I've never purchased anything from Ali Express however I did purchase a fake 1050Ti from another resale outlet and when researching the bogus card I learned other people purchased a few from Ali Express. The card came in a green and black box and said "Nividia 1050Ti" on it. The first clue was it had a VGA port. It turned out to be a GTX 450. GPU Z declared it a "FAKE"..Just passing my experience along to alert others about that particular card.

I'm interested if you could try that warranty claim now.
I might give it a go, given the circumstances. Oxidisation on a “new” graphics card is never acceptable

I'm inclined to agree with you! Millse seems like a decent brand, I will be picking up more of their GPUs in the future
@@ProYamYamPC yes, millse and soyo are always a safe bet
if you have elsa undervolt it and lower power , should be fine
