What are you talking about you csn run every game on a amd ryzen apu with high framerate bro tech is real
I think the lack of requirement to pay in order to play should've been the first point to talk about, especially with the increase in prices of services like PS+.
I personally prefer pc gaming but I also have many consoles at hand so I can purchase the best version
PC gaming is so much better than console gaming. I'm an older gamer and I've used console since they "first" came out. They were good for the much older games, in today's world console just don't cut it anymore unless you are 10 years old or younger, lol. I'm a 63 year old gamer.
i moved to a desktop PC in February of this year and i can say that the experience has been magical
@@Laquan-u2p Glad you are enjoying your Gaming Rig. 👍🏼👍🏼 Welcome to the PC Master race. 🤣😂🤣
@TeamGB-Diving ive been a part of it since 2020 because I got a gaming laptop for Christmas that year, but it was on its last legs earlier this year
HI, I need a simple video card, if you dont need this rx470, can you mail it to me ?
Thank you man, i was gifted the 2070 for free and i wanted to make sure it was good 🙏
I am currently using a GTX 960 4GB and it runs my normal games like Minecraft or Black Mesa just fine.
I switched to PC 3 years ago and for me there is no going back.
I switched to PC in 2014 over disgust at the specs of the XBone and PS4. Last console I bought was a WiiU, silly gimmick wasted money that should have gone into the CPU, GPU, Memory and storage. I got it end of life when Breath of the Wild had been out for a while and games were reasonable cheap in the main. Terrible console, great 1st and second party library. While the "new" consoles were a lot better 4 years ago I was in no way tempted back, and I haven't bought a Switch. 1st gen of Nintendo flagship console I've ignored fully since I bought my SNES a year or two after it launched. My library on PC is ridiculous, I'm literally amazed anyone has the time to do much piracy. Most of was free too, I've picked, well not sure how many because of the extra little bits that show up as entries but it's 430ish games on Epic Store alone (it's about 480 entries, but some games are free to play, some entries are things like art books etc in one case 1 game comes in 5 separate chapters. All basically included in the cost of your phone and internet.
Is this 1080TI any good for Arma3 Reforger? With a Ryzen 3600 CPU?
Now u said your gunna do x58 content should do a video on x79 I'm getting a e5 2667v2 3.3 base 4ghz boost 25mb cash 8 core 16 threads
You're in luck as I have an early LGA 2011 board in a HP workstation🫡
@ProYamYamPC yeah let's go I currently have a e5 2689 witch all core boost off 3.3ghz and 20mb off cache think would be a good upgrade for 30nzd or 15 American for the e5 2667v2
Reason no 1 : because you can😎
I should have included that one🤣
The number one reason is total cost of ownership. Microsoft and Sony have always had the same strategy of deferred costs. Even with lower upfront cost of the console, the higher average game cost and online subscription cost end up offsetting it. I also see far more console failures than PCs in repair, never mind ever drifting first party controllers. Stop the console fleece, before they're selling just monthly subscriptions and an Xbox / Playstation "TV" streaming device.
The last good quality and durable first party controllers were the PS3 Hall effect dual shocks, Xbox 360 wired and Standard Gamecube. Dreamcast controllers seem to go on forever. The WiiU had a well made controller but c'mon, that's what killed the console and it was a bloody stupid idea.
@@drewnewby I still have black, Halo, and a metallic red Xbox 360 controllers, a Xbox one, 2 Xbox series x controllers and can honestly say never ever had a problem. They all work perfectly fine. 👍🏼
@TeamGB-Diving I've been in PC repair for nearly 40 years. I've replaced more potentiometers in Xbox controllers than I could count. It doesn't matter how careful you are, before you bother mentioning that too...
I can't stress enough how important it is that you install the new ILM socket properly. make sure you tighten little by little bits in a criss cross pattern. the force distribution being equal in very very important to get the best results using these ILMs.
I'm waiting for someone to say that PS5 Pro is superior compared to PC 😂
That $700 3700X / RX 7800M combo. Launch day they were so sad. Even the DF guys during the unboxing.
There will be one PS shill that will say it🤣
But.. Mark Cerny sold me the promise that I would get to play every title at 4k 60 with RT reflections.. (lmao)
I used to be a big gamer, get home from work, TV on, XBOX on, and straight into call of duty. I have been gaming for nearly 40yrs now since I was about 13-14yrs of age. Started with the MB Astro Wars, FireFox, then the small LCD games like defender and donkey kong, not going through an eon of gaming. No matter what I have set up I always go back to my series X when gaming. I can switch it on and be in the game before my PC have opened steam. But the PC is a lot more upgradeable, versatile, useful. But when you add in the price of a desk, chair, speakers, it can cost a fair bit. My PC cost nearly £1800 in july 2023, with out the 1440P 144hz AOC monitor, which even now I still cant believe I spent that amount of money. But I really don't use it, being a carer for a family member I might get 60-90mins when I go to bed, I don't get time during the day. So because the Xbox is in my bedroom on my Samsung TV it gets more use. I have an old laptop in the living room for emails and general web browsing (need a new one TBH, it is running a R5-9420 AMD CPU which is like running a marathon in quick sand). If you enjoy gaming then what ever you are playing on just enjoy it, only thing that matters is the fact you are happy.
Happiness is key bro. I had a lot of good memories with my old 1050 Ti machine. As long as you can fire up some games and have fun, that's what matters
I had Astro Wars when I was 9 mate, that and the game that they made a giant version of and play in Star Trek the Motion Picture, haha, them were the days.
@ so true. We were the pioneers to what they play today. Renegade, Robocop, outrun, afterburner, atic attack. They complain about dlss, fps, 1440p, 4K, OLED. What was 1440p? 😂🤣😂 we might be older but we have played more games than most of the gamers out there. If only we could convert all those games to a Xbox gamer score. 🤣😂🤣😂
@@TeamGB-Diving Do numbers go that big? 🤔 🤓
@@darthwiizius 😂🤣😂 I don’t honestly know. 🤣😂🤣
Lack of troubleshooting knowledge and just being afraid is one of the factors ppl dont wanne go the pc route
Yeah these are 100% the biggest turn offs. Maybe the stigma of PC being expensive too
@ProYamYamPC i hate that stigma of PC being extremely expensive when in recent years it's definitely not especially now when ps5 pro came to be
@@scarfaceReaper it’s only been in the last 18months I have dabbled with PC’s and laptops. I swapped HDD to SSD in 5 laptops, changed the thermal paste, swapped out memory for higher storage. Built my own PC, got the itch now to build another one. The more you do the more you learn, TH-cam is a big knowledge base for help if you care to look. I also think price has been a huge factor in the pc v console debate. But it all leads back to people’s skills and comfort building a pc as @ProYamYamPC shows that a second hand GPU scan still be a good work horse. Why not build a pc from second hand components, you should still be able to out perform a PS5Pro with a second hand parts build. I have offered to build a pc for family and friends. Also just letting you know Xmas is in 4 weeks. 😂🤣😂🤣👍🏼👍🏼
My PC is my workstation, my gaming rig and my home theater. Tha'ts a good enough reason for me to stay on PC.
This is the way, my PC does all of the same too!
I don't do productivity but my PC is my entertainment and information centre, I have an old sound card plugged in and hooked it up to my HIFI, which is also a THX Surround system.
PC gaming is far superior, but I think the main reason a console player won't switch to PC, especially if they don't know anything, is the sheer amount of components and every guide gives a different "best build" that they don't know what's right. If they've being on console for a long time, their gaming library is probably huge, and since we don't buy games but licenses to play them, they'll have to buy all the games again, and that's a big waste of money.
Lack of troubleshooting knowledge/skills is the biggest wall for console players with little to no experience using PCs, imo. I know a console player who dies every time a game doesn't start on his laptop and he never knows what to do. He says that's the reason he doesn't consider buying a proper gaming PC.
I built my own gaming PC, sorted out the spec myself from youtube videos, and internet articles. I had to learn trouble shooting on the PC, if you have a problem, there is always a video on youtube to point you in the right direction (or call ghost busters). PC is a great platform for gaming. Consoles are a great way to get into gaming without spending a lot of money (excluding PS5 Pro).
@@LuciusVulpes Don't have any friends that play on consoles, so didn't thought of this, but you're right, saw it with PS5 streamers when they try to play a game on PC and something doesn't work, they have no idea what to do.
@@TeamGB-Diving Congrats mate, PC gaming is amazing.
This is a very good point, there's a lot more variables with PC gaming, to the point where people can get overwhelmed.
Another huge reason, at least for me is emulation. Even a fairly old and weak pc can play games for every console up to the PS3 and Switch. There are even a few playable PS4 games now.
Emulation is so cool, I need to give it a go at some point. (for legal reasons, I will only emulate games I own)👀🤣
Highly recommend LaunchBox. RetroArch built in, and the front-end for eXoDOS.
best looking is a stretch
Just the fact that you can play every game for "free" is why gaming is much better on PC.
That's my favourite part too xD
Bro is sailing the seas rn
Even without sailing the seas even. I can't remember the last game I purchased, just freebies on epic, prime, gog, etc. I still keep a wishlist on steam, and remove them once they are given away on another platform.
Agreed with your statement 100%
perhaps a fitgirl?
Anyone had problems with 2070 on 2k monitors 180/144 hz? i'm constantly getting crashes in games, and weird artifacts can't find the problem tried different drivers, don't help, same as lowering HZ from 180 to 144/120 and even resolution back to 1920x1080. Sometimes strange black blinking squares appear in games instead of crashes, anyone has any idea what it could be? all i see is that my GPU is 100% loaded for some reason even in not high end game.
How about having all of them, except mobile gaming? I have a PC plus consoles and handhelds, even if the performance and display is less than an emulator, I just like OG hardware. But my main is PC.
Still playing on my Vega 64 16gb at 1440p 21:9, with some adjustments I can still play the last of us part 1 high settings far quality at 70/80fps.
have an i7 4790 and I've upgraded my GTX 970 to 980 (7 dollar upgrade overall) and I'm very happy with this card
I have the 4080, and it's a very good card, as you know. I play at 4k and it can handle anything. The Super variant is just a little boost, so enjoy.
It sure is an extremely powerful card. I've been testing its little brother, the 4070 Ti S🫡
My current rig runs this card and games looks surpisngly well for not being RTX!. The TLOU part 1 looks amazing! Silent Hill 2 remake runs just fine as well!
damn tranzit music is nostalgic 😔
I know right, I hope we get Tranzit V2 sometime soon🫡
That song is not the same without the radio interference and zombie screams in the background....
The H81 chipset does not support pci express x16 3.0, which may cause fps loss in some games. The content of your videos is very good, I just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for subbing bro! I believe the Vega 56 can’t saturate 16x PCIe 2.0. The RTX 2080 and above is where we start to see the limit.
2001 babies rise up 😂🫡
