Grammy nominated Cellist and Montgomery College professor, Dawn Avery, performs a series of works composed by American Indian composers. North American Indian Cello Project began in 2006 thanks to a grant from the First Nations Composers Initiative project supported through the Ford Foundation's Indigenous Knowledge, Expressive Culture grant program of the American Composers Forum to commission original works by Native American composers.
This program was recorded as a Live CD.
