For €20,000-€35,000 this is honestly the greatest hatchback you could ever buy. Amazing engine, amazing chassis, great handling wether it’s AWD or RWD doesn’t matter and it just looks sooo gorgeous, spend around €10,000 for tuning and this thing just blasts away 99.5 percent of the cars on the road! BMW really outdone themselves with this beast of a car 👏 Hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to afford this car 🙏
@@aggr0mat144 you cant reach 480 with just downpipe and tune you need upgrade highe pressure fuel pump for that my car stage 2 bm 3 tune with downpipe and drop in filter produces 440 hp 100-200 9 sec dead and its RWD.
Great video, awesome car. I love my M140i with 455bhp, and this must be amazing with xDrive, but maybe a bit less exciting, almost too competent. RWD is wild and really makes me feel alive, even if it's not as fast or has the traction from a standing start.
@@Mike604 Yes I have the same 'problem' although it's not a problem, just great fun. Nobody really should go flat out in the rain really. I have PS4 tyres and they are pretty good in the rain, but I can hang the arse-end out easily on roundabouts, it's great !
The weakest link for me is the suspension and handling. Though with a few mods the car feels a lot better. I personally wouldn't call the stock, m, or adaptive soft by any means. It gives the feeling that you are driving a sporiter car, but as soon as you pick up some speed the car does not feel confident at all. I'm honestly impressed that you went 290km/h confident with the stock suspension. Anytime I've done it on stock I feel like I can lose control of the car over specific bumps. I'm not an engineer by any means. I'm not sure what BMW did for this car but the springs especially in the rear are way too stiff and heavy. The dampers don't compensate for it either. Some people have reverted back to the m135 springs in the rear to remove some of the bounce/floatiness of the rear. A lot of people are doing a total suspension change to a passive setup like Bilstein B6 paired with some sport springs (eibach, H&R) or coilovers.

@@3shaw396 I was thinking.. He needs to have at least catless downpipes with that as well.. Still, 480HP seem very high to me, stage 2 is more like 440-450HP max..
B58 never been 340hp, but 360. 370 for TU and some have 385 in some countries . stock BMW always underestimate the real power to not make unhappy people in case of testing on dyno. opposite to Italians they exaggerating sometimes . remember your Ferrari ;)

It can handle a tune quite well, different wheel sizes front to rear is a bigger problem indeed and can break the transfer box. Difference need to be within 1% front to rear to be safe.

I had a RWD and then a AWD 340. In the rain I can’t put any power down with PS4S and high speeds does not inspire confidence in the RWD.

Depends how crazy you want to go. Stock one can handle 500bhp. That’s more than enough power
At first you should go for an upgraded HPFP before upgrading the turbo on the B58
