This has to be the ultimate sleeper BMW 3-series.. Looks and sounds like a stock 335i touring, but with 500+HP and 600+Nm.. And a manual gearbox to top things off.. Very cool car..
On the 335i brakes, you can mount Z4 35i(s) brake discs, bolt on. They are two-piece with alu hat, so more prone to overheating. In the 335i calipers, E9X performance pads are fitting as well, these are Textar S4007's. Without going to a big brake kit, you can first try if these relatively cheap parts will suit your usage, already way better than stock
I do have an E92 with over 200k km and it still performs so well. I’d definitely buy that car again right now if I had to. Absolutely love that platform.
@@stefankoe Mine is 2007 & a bit over 300k already. I put a lot in that car, cause it wasn't in a very good condition, just the engine was wel alive. But it's so fun to drive, that I would just like the newer facelift version 335d/335is or an e92 m3, manual rwd - awesome drivers car.
Just when I thought this channel couldn't get any better, these guys break out a sleeper wagon for us! Besides that and hearing my two favorite words "Autobahn Blast" in the beautiful Dutch accent I am in pure car heaven!
Man I wish the 1 and 3 series 35i touring wagon was in USA. Audi finally brought their fast wagon rs6 only in 2022 to USA. People want fast touring wagon cars not just suvs.
but arent bigger brakes just to reduce brake-fade? stock brakes will block without issue if required, question is just how many times they can do that.
If the owner sees this, what have you done with the gearbox? I have an almost identically setup E93 (RB Twos at around 550bhp, 335is clutch, all the rest) and my input shaft bearing is whining a bit after some hard launches. I'm at about 160k km myself, and the 4th gear synchro is also not the happiest when cold. Did a shop do a full rebuild? It's very difficult to find any parts for this gearbox. Thanks, and cool car :) N54 FTW
I think this a common issue with n54/n55 Manuel transmission . Bmw don’t make parts for this Manuel transmission, they only sell it as a whole transmission. As they think is it cheaper to just replace the whole transmission, rather rebuilding. Right now, I am having a similar problem with you where my car second gear have a bad synchro. I been trying to find shop to rebuild it to hold more power, but couldn’t find one. So I am going to bring the car to Bmw and replace transmission and have that service history. Which I think it will cost around 4000 usd.
How do so many people in Germany run castles downpipes. I don’t live there but I heard if you don’t have “approved” parts or something and you have an accident the insurance can refuse to cover expenses. If this is in fact the case I would not want to run that risk. Can someone who lives there explain this?
There must be at least a causality chain between the illegal part and the reason for causing the accident. Its not that easy for the insurance to refuse to cover expenses.

I wouldn't say there's anything sleeper about a 335i tbh

problem is BMW are now making cars for the people that buy them new and not the ricers that get them when theyre 10 years old
Focus on the future baby bro
One of the nicest sleeper cars I've ever seen, amazing condition for 250000 KM 🤯
5th and 6th gear pulls were kinda mindblowing to see, that speedo just kept going with no slowing down
Man a 100-200 in the same kinda time as a full fat Cayenne Turbo or M3 comp... That's very impressive.
Holy moly

looks so amazing inside!! so simple.
no stupid monitors as if i must do programing quick sort (interactive) during driving!
🤣
The best point is that an E91 is still a very good car, even though it is like 15 years old...
Yeah it feels like we hit peak refinement/tech in the early 2000s. Cars now are just offer more tech!
yea and they are affordable aswell, u got space in them, interior looks classic/cool

I was very impressed when you described the upgrades to the engine. But when i saw the manual gearbox that really hit the spot
6th gear and still go by that fast, I mean the power didn't even killed in that gear! Very impressive car I love it !
Fantastic daily, absolutely love it.
The E91 was one of the best looking cars BMW ever made, I miss mine.
My dad has the 320i version, manual gearbox, perfect car!
Really enjoyed watching this idea, not to mention E91 is personal favorite
I love that you can clearly hear the bov sound

The best sleeper on this channel for me is the 520 hp cupra with 6.7 sec to 100-200 that's just unbelivable !!! 🔥🔥
Impressive to see how good the base 3-series is at such high speeds.
It's not a base model, the 335i is the highest non M 3 series out there
@@vincentw5160 I wager it still has essentially the same chassis as a 318 for example?

Really well sorted N54 wagon 👌
I love wagons! Wagons with so much performance are even cooler!
I did 8.17 on stock turbos 485hp/685nm so I think ~500 is pretty spot on. Nice setup!
In last video I told them that this car should be under 8 seconds if it's 550hp and they laughed at me
That's pretty good

E90/91 dash without the display is just the best
Absolutely! the display bump makes it really ugly.
my thoughts exact.
exactly
Quite the opposite imo
...and then there's people who prefer 22 inch rims and an orange interior lol
with pure 600 turbos that thing could easily make over 700hp, have a couple friends running them and they are seriously fast cars
ive got an 08 335 and I prefer this guys interior without the Idrive system.
