  • Here's a demo for the iSonic Ultrasonic denture cleaner I recently ordered. This cleaner works amazingly well to remove the residue from the Secure Adhesive. I ordered mine from Bed Bath & Beyond.

When I saw the reaction of the people who used it in the other group I was tempted to get it. So happy you did this demo, now I know I'll get it.

Great video Lillie!! I didn't see that model when I ordered mine; yours is the 3900, & mine is the 3800. It's the best thing I've bought in a long time! It's nice that they can work effectively without the denture tab, but like you, I leave mine in to soak overnight. I use a denture tab too because I want to make sure any/all bacteria is killed to avoid the dreaded "denture breath"!!! Lol! Another great video!! 👍🏻

I bought the same unit after watching your video. It works great, I use Secure adhesive on my bottom denture.

Donna Looker Hi Donna. I love this little machine so much!! It's the only way I've found to get that Secure adhesive off. I'm so glad it works great for you too. 😁

Me too, Lillian! Off topic.......I lived in Lehigh Acres for six years before moving to Tennessee.

Donna Looker Wow, small world right? Tennessee is beautiful!! I've driven through it several times. Once I remember driving through a hail storm just after I crossed the GA/TN border up in the mountains (on I-75). My oldest son was so scared he was crying & begging me to pull over as the hail was hitting my van. If you live in the mountains, I'd love to see a pic. I used to live in NY & miss the mountains so much. I bet you don't miss this summer heat & humidity do you? LOL

I definitely do not miss the heat and humidity. Moving to Tennessee was like a breath of fresh air compared to typical Florida weather. If I take any pictures in the near future I'll post them.

You’re very welcome. It was my favorite machine for years. It finally wore out last year. I miss it b/c of its compact size.

I had thrm at 40 would've been earlier but i went on a waiting list to have them out knocked out in hospital i tried sedation and refused to do it cause dentists in the past have been brutal really and unempathetic....but the surgeon i had personally came to talk to me before and after surgery 💜💜 (i live in Wales the uk)

I'm literally going to pick mine up tomorrow and I tell you one thing the process at first was brutal. Had 2 different dentists. The first one was like getting teeth pulled in the early 1900's all old instruments all I heard was cracking and very painful. The second one pulled 8 teeth in like 10 minutes and I swear I did not feel a thing even after. Some discomfort but nothing a Tylenol couldn't take care of. Some dentist are worth it and others shouldn't even be practicing at all. I'm going on a year from the first tooth being pulled to now finally after 20 or 30 appointments to finally being able to smile again. I'm 37 so it's weird to people to see someone my age with no teeth

Margaret Colbert 😊 It's the only way I can get the residue off from the Secure adhesive. I'm not able to put my bottom denture in it now that it has the soft liner but I don't use the Secure on the bottom one so it's fine by me. If you check out Bed Bath & Beyond, they usually have a 20% off coupon. 😉

I got it a couple days ago and I was using it but it seemed to not do much but I was using Efferdent. Than I saw Bills video where he compares Efferdent and Polident so I ran out and got Polident. Now I see a massive difference. I even compared it by polishing a penny. The Polident made the penny look like it came back from the silversmith and the Efferdent just did a slight spotty cleaning.

MobileDecay I’m so glad you got one. I love mine! I’ve been using Polident tablets since day one. I put the Polident tab right into the cleaner. I like how the ultra sonic cleaner runs its cycle & then the dentures can just sit in the Polident overnight. It was well worth the $35. 😁

Hi there, great video! Please could you tell me how effective this cleaner is at removing small food particles stuck to the denture? Does this replace brushing completely for you? Thanks!

    • @lilliandarling2016
      @lilliandarling2016  6 ปีที่แล้ว

George Eaton Hi George. This will be a long but thorough answer/review. 😁 I still use my cleaner everyday. I’ll be honest & admit I stopped brushing the dentures when I 1st got the cleaner b/c I thought the cleaner would be better than brushing which is abrasive over time but I did some research & found info that says the cleaner is an addition to brushing as the US cleaner gets additional bacteria & germs left behind after brushing. I don’t ever recall seeing any food particles on the dentures after they went through the US cleaner process w/ subsequent soaking. It was the best $35 I spent! P.S. that little cleaner always got the adhesive residue (including Secure) off my dentures. 😉

Does this get all the paste off? I am looking for something so that I do not have to scrub it like mad every night... :) Thanks.

Kenny Johnson Hi Kenny, yes it sure does! I use Secure on my top denture & that stuff is hard to remove totally but the ultrasonic cleaner gets it off completely. All I do is remove the excess with my finger & rinse it off before putting it in the cleaner. I also use the overnight Polident tablets too & it works like a charm. Best $35 I've spent. 😉

One comment - the iSonic instructions specifically state “Do not leave liquid in it for an extended period of time” - to me, that means overnight.

Virginia Fry Hi Virginia. I used that particular cleaner from when I posted this video in 2016 until Feb 2020. Perhaps extended means filled for multiple days. My solution was in there for about 6 hours. The only reason I stopped using it was because I got a larger one from a company to review. It worked perfect for me.
