I was so sick from the mold I believed her and went back to sleep. I was suffering seizures and memory loss so I didnt have the strength to fight the land lord or doctor's and I regret it. The land lord and doctor are friends so that could be the reason why but I'm still trying to prove I was sick from mold. I lost EVERYTHING. The land lords are the owners of very successful businesses here in New Mexico and one is a state rep so I'm 150% sure there will be no justice. No lawyer will stand up to them if tried. I'm in Albuquerque New Mexico and I'm going though the same thing. My friends aunt is a lawyer and her advice to me is to go back to the management with my phone recording the whole conversation and document that I reported the mold and to call the Albuquerque Housing Authority and to record that phone call also that way I have proof that I have been reporting the issues. The management gave me a spray bottle of bleach water and just told me to clean it myself and come to find out bleach water is the worst thing you can use on mold. My doctor was clueless when I told her that I was being slowly poisoned by mold they had no clue or any idea what kind of test to run so I had to be my own Advocate and even then it's a bunch of dead ends

I just inhaled an entire cloud of unknown mold spores and the doctors refuse to treat me prophylactically. That’s a HUGE concentration of unknown mold spores. My lungs and chest hurt and I have a migraine type sinus headache. I’ve had these symptoms for 2 days. They aren’t improving in the slightest. I’m quite worried. They want me to do a “breathing test” and that won’t show whether I have the mold in my body, how much is in there, and whether it’s growing and/or spreading. I can’t believe they aren’t taking this seriously. I fear for the worst and am living in fear. My immune system is down due to lack of sleep and stress and I have autoimmune disorders. I don’t know what to do.

@@daleocallaghan6228 very sorry to hear that, friend. Black mold is a very serious matter. Unfortunately, we have black mold in our basement and if there’s mold spores. There’s nothing we can do about it either because we do not have the money to eradicate it nor do we have the money to move. Thankfully it’s just in the basement Because if it was upstairs to we be getting a much larger dose of spores. I wouldn’t doubt if my health issues were because of the mold. I have auto immune disorders as well. Sometimes if you get out of the situation and you get proper treatment, your health conditions that were caused by the mold can be reversed but unfortunately, if you’ve been in that environment for a very long time the likelihood of those conditions being reversed is low. You’re making the right call by leaving. Black mold is one of the worst molds. It’s very toxic. I am a Christian, but I worry that I’m not good enough because I sin a lot, and some of those sins I know are sins but I just don’t put in the effort to stop doing those things. I like to do some of those things, and so I’m having a hard time quitting. They’re not bad things that would harm people or anything, but they’re not really Christian like either. Like for example, try as I might, I can’t seem to stop cussing. I just hope that God will forgive me, even if I can’t quit in time. I will pray for you as well. @@abtinz7127 yes I’m OK. Thank you for caring enough to check on me. I do now seem to have pneumonia like symptoms when I have allergy attacks, but I don’t actually have pneumonia. It’s more of a discomfort in my lungs, but it is what it is. The doctors did say that I won’t have any long-term damage from the situation and I hope that they are correct. I am certainly more careful now when it comes to mold.

I work construction as a Remodelor did some demo was worst I had seen that was goin on five months ago I’m still sick like I can’t seem to cure it dr just gave me a z pack and a steroid shot. Steroid shot helped a lot z pack just made me sick but the problem didn’t go away
They should be able to do a blood test for aspergillus antibodies...if not you'll have to pay i guess. I paid for a mycotoxins test with the Great Plains Laboratory Good luck

If not join them but like any group there are differences of opinion. It's all a personal thing ...each of us are individuals. Hi, once I found out I had been living with mold I went to my doctor to request a mold test and she denied that there was a mold test.
They should be able to do a blood test for aspergillus antibodies...if not you'll have to pay i guess. I paid for a mycotoxins test with the Great Plains Laboratory
