🏁 The Journey from Continental to Dunlop
I've had tremendous success with my Continental Attack EVO tires, which are DOT approved, and have carried me through multiple track days. But the story doesn't end there. During my recent visit to the MotoAmerica races in New Jersey, I had an enlightening conversation with a Dunlop tire guru. After detailing my experiences with the Continental Attack EVO, he introduced me to the next-level Dunlop Racing Slicks-specifically, the KR451 with a 0443 medium compound for the rear and the KR448 with a 0129 compound for the front.
📏 Size Matters
You might be wondering about tire sizes. My KTM RC390 originally came with a Continental front tire size of 110/70 R17. The Dunlop KR448 front tire fits this spec perfectly. However, the rear Dunlop KR451 comes in at a slightly narrower 140/70 R17 compared to the stock 150/60 R17 Continental.
