The biggest change I found going from my EX500 to Ducati 748, R6 and BMW S1000 is that the BMW will wheelie. Could be TC working but I don’t feel yet that traction is the issue. Riding 4 different bikes might also make it harder to optimize my lines for each one.
Just be careful of ‘information overload.’ Ask 10 people how to take turn 1 (at the same track), you get 12 - 13 different answers. Every time you try something new. Do it in moderation.
Ok Eric, you got thinking of where I can find an empty parking lot where I won't get "hassled" for doing circles at 70mph. I already know my drives are weak and definitely have that fear of high siding trying to feel the limit on the track. I appreciate all the time and effort you're putting in to create these videos. They are definitely helping. Thanks again and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy
Hey man, I just want to thank you for sharing your knowledge with people that love motorcycles. This is probably one of my favorite videos and if people watch the whole thing it makes so much sense ..especially 0:10 the 400 compared to 600 to 1000 EXIT..I can’t wait to apply this at my next Trackday.. As I keep getting faster in the A group, your videos are a constant reminder to go out there with a Plan.. Thanks again, bro, bro.!!
Informative. If you can, please leave the graphics up as part of the screen instead of putting them up/down/up/down/up...a bit difficult to follow. Love "irresponsible bar input."
So regarding the threshold of traction. At a certain speed & max lean angle. Once youre over that speed, you can add even more acceleration without losing the rear end?
Best track day tutorial content on TH-cam right now, hands down, keep it up, fantastic!

This helps a lot because it will be my first time on 1000cc on track. I have experienced with my 400 and 600.
This is awesome, can't wait to utilize all your info on the track when I go!
Awesome info for new riders!!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for the feedback! Always appreciated.
Eric, What is the cost to your track school? I remember watching you in 2007 on your old 2007 R1 at Summit Point Main in WV.
It’s $250. You can see a full schedule at www.penguinracing.com.
No west coast 😢
@@erniel3034 we did a school at Laguna Seca (we run several of the Ducati Revs events). This may expand in the future!
Regarding gas on and bike up zone, can the rider push the bike away and help it stand up or no bar inputs at all?

Is it possible to learn to be fast and safe on track on a litre bike for a road rider or is 600cc better for learning?
