This worked perfectly for me after trying many different things, so i’m happy enough to share after struggling to find the fix,
A crucial step I missed out is to make sure every door and boot/tailgate is closed.

I figured my Mazda 3 2008s engine would look a little different here and there. And I was wondering what that chord was called or what it goes to that you stuck the wire into after you pulled out the inner piece. I have alot of Pieces that look similar and I'm looking generally near the front where you had yours at but I don't see a piece that large exactly. I see a smaller grey piece that only has 4 tiny holes inside instead of the six little holes like yours had. (to stick the wire into)
Last thing I wanna do is go sticking wires in things I think might be right.
But with engines having custom work or being made differently. Countries whatever. I hoped it would be in a similar area and look the same.
Desperately need our car to work after it was off a few days. Came back. Battery seemed completely drained. Nothing was left on. But went and got it recharged. They said it was still a newer battery and should be fine. Hooked it up and the horn started blaring and auto theft wouldn't stop. Key fob for the car is either dead battery or broke. Don't know if I can switch out battery honestly and try that. But with the Auto theft light on it automatically won't let your car start. It's crazy man. Been watching all sorts of stuff and your video looks the best promising to my needs

My car won't start, I bought it with this DPF Light flashing and no power from ECU to the fuel pump, lady I bought it off told me it was driving along one day and it just stopped, no talk about DPF, but she lied, or does not know the truth. But I'm wondering if I should do this to get the ECU to reset and then I might get the engine started, then I could drive it to get the DPF flushed out.
I tried this with my 2008 mazda 3, but I did not work.
As per my other comment, the seller didn't tell me exactly what happened, so I'm guessing here, I need a Mazda tech to plug his computer in and tell me what's going on.

All i did was drive. My 2007 mazda 3 mzrcd at 3000rpm at 60kmph for 15 mins. The Dpf got rid of all the soot n light stopped flashing.. Just follow the manual, mate!!
What you’ve explained there is a DPF Regen, completely different to what I am explaining in the video dude.
My dpf wouldnt regen and lifht still flashing any ideas please 2010 mazda 2.2 sport
What colour was the wire in the plug mines got black and red and Grey and red

Is there a certain gauge wire you need or does any cable do?
Any wire mate it purely earths it out

If you can’t figure that out mate best you don’t work on your own car considering no one else has had issues understanding AND I focus right into the battery terminal lol.
