One of the most entertaining challenge runs I've seen. I usually watch Borderlands 2 runs but have got back into the Bioshock series this week and loving the nostalgia. That was at times hilarious 😅😅😅
If you're playing the remastered there is a harder difficulty, but on the OG there's only hard. NGL this was such a fun run though, I would do it again haha

Unironically if you use mainly wrench it became super easy to play on the hardest difficulty,the only thing you use real ammo on ar big daddy . I came across a really op wrench build, i later discovered it was one of the strongeat, while playing cause i had to get the no chamber and all photo achievement and since i am kinda good in building in games i saw some potential in a melee build with the perk i had and i was not wrong. Also the real benefit of doing this is that you will be always full of ammo against all the Big Daddie you will find so that you can also resque or kill all the sisters in the game. If you combine this and powers wrench is probably the strongest weapon in the game for normal enemies

You should've done "I Chose The Impossible"... As this is one of the easier achievements compared to the one I just stated. This is not even on the highest difficulty whereas the other IS actually a harder difficulty..
I'm not sure if you noticed, but this was the Xbox 360 version, so there isn't survivor difficulty. I had like 2 achievements unlocked from 2009, so I wanted to complete this version of the game haha. So to answer your question, I chose this difficulty because it IS the hardest difficulty in the game
These types of challenges are really fun in this game, and I imagine pistol only offered a unique challenge since ammo is a bit more limited than infinity wrench swings

I tried getting all achievements for Bioshock 1 & 2 quite recently, for 1 I just need 1 more achievement, I disabled vita chambers and completed it on Hard Difficulty but it didn’t give me the brass balls achievement, it did give me the seriously good achievement for completing it on the hardest difficulty so not sure why I didn’t get the brass balls one.
Before I attempted this challenge I remember reading about it being super buggy, and it sounds like you might've drawn the short straw. That really sucks dude, I'm sorry to hear it
i basically already did this challenge if i had just turned off vita chambers i would have done it cause i just used the wrench 99% of the time i would use the chameleon eve and then what ever helped with health and wrench damage
To be fair, the wrench gets op pretty quick into the run, there was a point in my Survivor (no vita camara) play thorough where i did better with the wrench than with any other upgraded weapons i had
I played the game again after this with all guns/abilities (on survivor since it was the remaster), and I never had an issue. I think the guns/plasmids REALLY help with Big Daddys. Besides fighting them, the wrench was a great weapon

Idk if it would've affected your playthrough, but I normally use telekinesis to pick up a corpse or large objects and use those to trip the electric trap bolts🤷🏼♂️
@morgansbasement I feel that, I thought that might've interfered with it😢 and yeah it's pretty cool lol. You don't even have to throw it, you just hold the object in front of you and just walk towards it till it shocks the object/body😎

I've only played Bioshock 2 once, so I don't remember much, but doing it without medkits sounds either impossible or the most frustrating trial and error run possible LOL. I would do drill only for sure, but IDK about that healing bit haha

I unlocked big brass balls and I choose the impossible wrench only on my first playthrough ever and in the remakes. I also did the same drill only and hardest difficulty no vita in bioshock 2 also.
I played and finished Bioshock 2 back when it came out, so if I would have to get creative if I was going to do that game, so I'm not sure yet. I would absolutely do Infinite though!

i just started my first playthrough of this game, and i almost had the bomb fully assembled at hephaestus and my game crashed and restarted that whole level 😭 i gotta save way more

I played Bioshock 1 again on max difficult just a couple weeks ago and it was so fucking difficult, the work that you did in this video is amazing Fr.
