Good job on the video and keep them coming. This gives others looking to upgrade another perspective in wheel/tire setup.
I think a lot is personal preference and how you ride it. That said I ride 18/21. However, if you do not upgrade your controller / battery the 18/21 will feel and be slower without offsetting the additional size with a larger sprocket. Personally, I like the bigger feeling of the bike and the additional benefits that come with it.
I think it comes down to a couple things. If you like a bigger bike feel and have upgraded power or will soon there in the future 18/21. If you plan to stay stock power or close to it and enjoy the nimbleness and playfulness go with 16/19. Both setups will give you better traction/performance than the stock setup. Obviously, there is more to it than what I listed.

I have a 17/19 and a 19/21. I'm used to riding full size bikes and about 80% of the time I'll go with 17/19 just cause it's so much more fun to ride. Only time I'd prefer the 21 would be in Rocky Enduro type trails.

21/18 because jumping over logs is just part of the ride in the NW.

16" rear is what to get based on my buddies experience.

      I second that.

@@PhiTonics The main problem with a 16" rear is you can't run the 21" front without ruining the bike geometry. The 21" front is what makes it handle so much better.

@@emotobros interesting 🤔 I would love to hear a round table with you guys and Charged Cycle Works debating the various tire set up merrits.
I believe one of them runs a 21 front and the other doesn't if I recall right, at the end of the day it probably comes down to the trails you ride I imagine.

@@PhiTonics I believe the tire options are better for a 16", no debate there. I just don't like how it makes the bike smaller/keeps it stock when the bike is already too small for us. The 21" front and 18" rear makes it bigger, more stable, has better tire options than stock and just generally rides more like a real moto.

If you use a prickly riser shock link. That evens out the geometry. But I ain't no scientist.

Do you find with that bigger wheel being in the front that it doesn't slide out on you as much? I have that issue all the time and sand front tire always wants to grab

Do you guys have a belt drive on your bikes? They're so quiet...mine is super loud and it's been like that since day one. It's quieter if I hit the throttle on a stand and it's just the rear wheel spinning, but man as soon as my weight is on it it's loud as hell.

Salem, OR here. Received my 2022 sur ron a couple of weeks ago but only had one ride on it due to all of the rain. Took it to Mary's Peak but really need to find some good mx trails.

Nice! We rode Mary's last fall and it was fun ripping around the fire roads.

You gotta make a better intro clip. It’s too dim and you can barely see the logo/the jump you’re hitting in the letters.
