    Great video. I run my chain with a lot more slack than that - probably whatever the specs recommend. I think a chain that tight will cause the problem with the Jack shaft bearings going bad. Amazingly capable bikes!

      Thanks for the comment! Yeah.. it was a new chain and I knew it would stretch. I have since gone back to the O-ring 48t sprocket. I was not a fan that setup.. I think 52t would be the sweet spot with a x-ring chain.

    Awesome video! I have been looking for a hill climb video like this. Gives me an idea of what these bikes are capable of. My talaria xxx arives tomorrow. I am 170 lbs and bought a 54 tooth sprocket, chain, pegs, brake pads and the 14/16 dirt tire set from flow wheels. My bike should be like an electric pit bike ripper!. What do you think?

      First, Congrats on your bike! I think the xxx is a great choice. And yes, for sure it will climb. I was blown away what these bikes can do and I am 200lbs. Another good video to watch would be my video on the Shinko 244. I took the bike to a pretty crazy steep trail and was truly surprised at what it could do.

      Yes i watched that video. There was some serious climbing and rocky trails, but your bike did great! I live in lake havasu city where i am surrounded by endless trails from my front door.. so i will be exploring often.

    Hey, is your wheel dished?

    • @clu801
      @clu801 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, it’s dished over to the side. I did not want to have to shave knobbies. I bought this from flow wheels on eBay. It came, dished and mounted.

    What rim width for 16 rims? 1.85 or 1.6?

      @clu801 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for asking. This is a 1.85 dished to the brake rotor side so there is room for the knobs to not hit the chain. Some people opt to shave the knobs with a razor.. but I feel dishing is better
