No.. I have done this on previous mega cabs on my channel with no issues. If you have an older model and driveshaft spins all the time then yes I would.
@@RockyRohde thx. I have had a 2014, 2017, 2019, & now a 2023. All Mega cabs. I had a 6" bds on 1st 2 and a 4" bds on the 3rd and so i always ran a clocking ring. About to lift the 23 so I was just curious if I needed it.
I may need to create a video on my 2024. You will definitely enjoy the German 8 transmission. If there is one thing I could change out for a smoother shift experience Ole my gosh. That Aisen is not smooth.
I've been looking at the 2025 PDF build specs and it shows that you should be able to option a 3500 SRW with auto level airbags. It also shows Silver Zynith as a color option and then has a tab to view special exterior colors but it does nothing when clicked.
I don’t have a vehicle lift at my house.. Most of the time I do installs here at the house. Some things I get installed at Outlaw Offroad here in Victoria.
Hi. I’m going to visit family in Victoria in March. Do you know of any places around there that sell high quality headache racks? Looking to buy one for my f350 when I go down there.
Are you going to drive the 25 stock longer than a week or is everything going on right away? I always like to keep it stock for a little while then switch it up.
"Pros and Cons with all of them" Agree 100% RAM has the better interior and the best looking exterior. Driving a 4runner made in the Tahara plant, now I notice how domestic vehicles have squeaky plastic interiors! Nice build, can't wait :)
Your truck build was definitely boogered up. Air suspension IS available for the SWR 3500. But as you stated, you don’t care because of the aftermarket system you like. If I want to order without air and then later decide I wanted it, I’ll come back here to take another look at your aftermarket solution.
@ I know but Anthony, a dealer from Mark Dodge in Louisiana, is now seeing it on his build guide (not the customer website) as an option. Ram site is all kinds of messed up.
@@DarkHorse08 absolutely but that’s it lol, they went back to iron block which is weaker then cgi (cost savings). They went to cp8 which im not honestly even sure what it’s gonna be like. Glow plugs are horrendous idea especially when banks literally had the fix. I hate that they put both fuel filters next to eachother in the engine bay as if the one wasn’t hard enough. Why not put both underneath where it was much easier to access. And last but not least no black and tan Longhorn Interior is crazy that’s the best interior out right now.
I wouldn’t use Recon lights or the other 3rd party brands that cannot even get the vehicle manufacturer correct. 🙄 These companies that still call them a Dodge come across as being uneducated on the subject. The fact is, is Dodge and Ram split into seperate entities 15 years ago, they dont have to like it but it is not changing.
Looking forward to seeing the 25 build Carli is awesome.

Nice video and truck. I agree on the 1 tons needing some ride comfort help. Can I ask what you spend on those upgrades?
It's going to be a nice set up. With adding the 1" spacer ontop of the 3.25" in the frt are you going to add a clocking ring?

Agree with that… Pulls great but i absolutely hate 2-3 defuel..
Is there a set up where you can haul your fifth wheel with RAM boxes? I see the new 3500 has the ram box option
Sidewinder pin box by Reese. I have videos on my channel
@ any reason you decided not to get ramboxes on your current setup?
I prefer the Reese goosebox and full bed space. If I was not towing fifth wheel I would have got rambox 100%
Love your videos sir, out of curiosity, what kind of business are you in? Beautiful place you have.

Order banks were not allowing the option in December. I think the portion is still not available on 3500 SRW
@@RockyRohdeIt is available now. I think they might have messed up the build guides. Should have been available from the start.
New to your channel. Do you install the upgrades yourself or have a shop do the work? You sure have a sweet setup down in Texas!

Call Outlaw Offroad..
Thanks for the info about the trans and suspension 👍🏼. Will you be selling the factory wheels from the 2025?
They are going back on truck when I trade it in
Why did you get rid of the GMC?
Are you going to drive the 25 stock longer than a week or is everything going on right away? I always like to keep it stock for a little while then switch it up.
Maybe 50 miles… 😂
Sucks you have to option a Laramie so the starting price for a 4x4 3500 is just under $80k for the megacab sucks it has to be so expensive

Ram removed the option online for SRW air suspension.

Why get rid of ur 24 its so nice, only thing 25s have that I want is 8 spd
25 has a lot of engine updates also.
The transmission is probably the single most beneficial reason to upgrade. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and 0-60 cut by 6 seconds when fully loaded.

I'm jealous would love to get a new 2025 megacab with the new 8sp. transmission. I think the new updated powertrain will be a big hit for RAM.
2024 limited just as a get me by truck

Yes

2025 engine won’t last 25k miles 😂😂😂
If it dose I’m gonna laugh in your defeat
Please elaborate
