As an INTP I would not waste energy on anyone that could not hear what I have to say. I have nothing to prove and have no need to be right. I would have said nothing and kept my peace....
-What's about society that disappoints you so much? -I could tell you but it's a 500 pages thesis and you charge 100$ an hour, which is also part of the problem, by the way.
This is why I love INTP. I'm Ne dom and I can't shut the part of my mind that seems to be a heat-seeking missile for contradictions like those found rife throughout society. But INTP will actually appreciate why I'm zoning in on a particular issue cause they "see" it too, and they're good about catching things like conjecture in my Ne/Te logic, so that's always extremely welcome. I wish I could keep an INTP advisor in my back pocket. -ENFP
I'm an INTP, and if you have any INTP-T friends that maybe you want to keep close, open up to them. They might not be able to give you advice (and this is not for all intp) but they will appreciate your trust and might even start opening up to you about their thoughts and opinions.
One thing I learned to recognize is that sometimes, its better to stop questioning everything and go with the flow.. I had a phase where I just held intense hatred toward society and humanity for being dumb, vile, and superficial. But I think its because part of me understood exactly where they were coming from, not because Im different or deviated from them. Of course since Im a human being born into this society lol so basically that hatred came more from self hatred, but somehow I blamed others more for my own contradicting feelings and beliefs.
you can question something without hatred, its not very good advice to tell people to just "go with the flow" ACTUALLY we should never go with the flow IF IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE nor BENEFITS OUR NEEDS. we SHOULD question EVERYTHING but also learn to UNDERSTAND where someone else is coming from and understand their view of the world, instead of hating them becouse of how "they" (if they have control over their thoughts) think differently. Only because of how different they live, and the situations they've been through haven't given them the chance, to get the knowledge or interest in the knowledge, that you have. But I guess for some people like you, begin to hate themselves because of how much they can understand and even relate, while disagreeing. So for that is to accept instead of going with flow. To accept that the world is shitty, but also that it will change and improve, as long as we care enough to take action. (this is not much realistic, there's only 1/99% chance that all of the human race would actually try to improve the world and accept the truth, instead of hiding in ignorances bliss.) Anyway, I somehow see your point, but still quiet disagree :)
@@sparklenights5421 I was talking more about my personal experience of having gone through self-isolation, and almost becoming neurotic from questioning everything about why we are the way we are and beginning to hold negative feelings toward people in general (probably a depression symptom), and the conclusion I came down to in a simplest form is to chill out a bit. So yes acceptance is probably a better word than 'go with the flow' as you said. Of course we should always strive to be better in changing flaws and problems in terms of society in a broader level, but I think it would make us more content if we found a perfect balance of knowing when to go with and go against the current. Best advice for my bitter INTP/INFP self is probably to accept the things that can't be changed and change the things that can be changed.
@@bapbirb good re-explanation, i agree. And im glad youre self-aware and hope that you have gotten better at changing those bad habits :) best of luck in life, and this society.
As an INTP I can relate with this. It’s always like “I want to say it but it’s not worth the effort of the outcome”. I can also relate to the fact of how fucked out society is, something that is honestly on my mind almost all the time.
As an INTP I agree with this. We always analyse every possible question with a perfect logical answer. People think that we don't know about the outside world but, the truth is we know everything just too nervous to talk about it
I have a best friend - INTP. And well, it was really difficult to get her to voice her inner feelings and thoughts. Moreover, thoughts are easier than feelings, but also hard. It was very difficult for me to do this, and this despite the fact that, as INFJ, I usually very easily get into the essence of a person, not only see it, but people themselves begin to pour out their soul to me. But not here, she is really a closed person. And I do not take anything by force, only voluntarily offered. So at first I had to earn trust, but I did, so we established a deep connection. I have no regrets, she is a wonderful person. Dark sometimes. But she is still gorgeous.
Appreciate your INTP and remind them they are an intelligent capable and cared about human being…also we appreciate being given cookies (from anyone but we may analyze first) and hugs (from people like you to her).
Can we be friends? I’m an INTP male and my younger brother is an INFJ. You just described our family relationship to a T. Trust me, I appreciate him more than anything. We have a safe space among each other and we make sure each of our voice matters and is heard. 🥲
I felt this way too much. Like, I always have these moments when I just stop and think: What the fuck am I doing? Like, I'll just be watching something on TH-cam like right now for example and then just think about why exactly I'm doing it. Or I question other people and why they are so passionate about things and social and emotional and honestly greedy
This is too true. INTP here, even if I tell you my thoughts you won't really hear. 0:12 this is true too My wife, ESFJ. Also my former stalker. My friends asked how I could tolerate the clingy, possessive behavior. And I replied, "it's fine," then I changed the subject. What I was actually thinking was calculating the odds that any woman ever loving me to that intensity and I knew that they were astronomically low and that she was the only one. She out does every woman I've ever met. So a few invasive clingy habits compared to eternal fidelity, no problem. TLDR: You didn't read that.
I agree with intp, there's nothing wrong with him, only society, and the way we have been planted a seed in our mind to think, the way society "should" think.
