It's so crazy how far bone stock cars have come in the last 10 to 15 years. V6 cars are putting more to the wheels than V8's were and it's being done with better fuel economy. HPE is for sure going to hit the 500 bhp mark with this one.
Beautiful car, the coupe will be amazing and maybe in time we might get a CTS-V without the Sport after it! Possibly with the 2015 Corvette Z06 6.2L Super Charged V8 that now is rated at 625hp and 635lbftt but by the end of testing will most likely have hp and torque numbers well above the earlier estimates possibly near the 650hp/660trq because of the SC which turns a lot more rpm's than the ZR1's of the past and with the ability to give the Z06 a higher stock PSI rating than earlier ZR1 numbers along with the overall ability of the new LT motor with all it's new features should mean more overall power. So a Z06 with 650hp, could that mean a CTS-V with over 600hp and torque? With an over 400lb lighter 2014 CTS and 600hp, look out. How about a 2015 CTS-V coupe with AWD, entire suspension and brake setup from the Z/28, the new 8sp tranny from the Z06 that is said to be as fast and even faster than the best dual clutch autos out there now with the 600hp+ supercharged engine from the Z06 all going to a big set of black magnesium lite weight wheels and a set of Michelin Sport Cup II super sticky tires. Oh, and make that in beautiful silver paint! All the new hi performance parts and systems are available right off the shelves of Cadillac's GM brother, Chevrolet, so the added cost of developing the systems and parts is not needed so you can possibly keep the price in the high $70's to mid $80,000? You can do it Cadillac.
Mr. Hennessey says he dose not know much about this car, but when he is finished there will be 0 to 60 On Star calling care flight zooming in thinking the car has crashed, dentures swallowing heart attack granny Cadillac. Man I cant wait.

I've seen this car dyno by two other sources and the torque to the wheels has been over 420 for both and about 360+ for hp ...
