@@joshuaflowers736 I bought my 1240sqft brick 3 bed 2 bath 2 car garage home with granite counters, custom cabinets and shower for $175,000. $128,000 just for the shell? What the hell are you people thinking. BTW, the layout on this house is horrible.
Man, that's a beautiful home! I've loved yalls work ever since I saw the tiny house yall did off 1650 in Gilmer. Can't wait till we are financially ready to walk through yalls doors and get the process started.
We are updating our site to show approximate starting price, you can always call if you want to start a dialogue, email and quote request just allows us to follow up on your schedule. This being a custom build, not a spec to sell, I don't like giving out the "this cost this much to build". Thanks for watching
Black is the WORST Color for a Home in TX because of the Summer HEAT !!! Black absorbs and holds that Heat ! WHITE is a Better Color because it reflects the Heat
@@BearStar1 absolutely true. When I first came to TX I had a white truck. I bought a black truck this year. The inside of my white truck after sitting in the 100 degree heat was 115. My black one is 145 . Measured using the same laser thermometer at exactly 100 degrees at the same time of day
Wondering if you guys build in central Oklahoma or if you can recommend someone reliable to build one of your turn-key kits. Also can you ball park the turn key price of the raven. Thanks
Looks Great ! My concern is the Black color . I would think absorb the heat from the sun and hold it into the Barn. Also vinyl windows don't do well in extreme heat . # Arizona
Great insight on black in metal construction! Unlike with shingle roofs where heat absorption is a big issue, metal focuses more on how well it reflects light. Although black isn't the best at reflecting (it's lower on the reflectivity scale), metal, especially steel, is excellent at reducing heat transfer. This means that even if black metal absorbs more heat, it doesn't pass as much of that heat inside, compared to materials like wood or shingles.
Steel W-Beam Structure, Designed be an engineer to local commercial building code. This particular one is 120+ MPH wind load. Most counties in Texas do not require wind ratings approval in residential settings, so yes, ours being designed and stamped by a structural engineer is much stronger than most traditional stick built homes.
I like the rave inside but questions? Does the outside color come in white? We are looking to buy and so land no idea yet trying to get everything together and pricing thank you
How do I get a plan for this exact build without the shop attached? Potentially thinking about building a silo into that left side instead of the shop, think it'd be a pretty sweet setup.
We can modify the plan for you to remove the shop. We can also take care of any other changes needed. We will provide you with a full construction set and have you ready to build!! You can call our offices or email us!
This is my favorite build because I love black. How much to get this turnkey to Maryland? I’m was looking to buy a home but if I can buy property and this barn I’d be winning!
I have a question. How do you get insurance on this type of build. Insurance companies in central Florida have said they don't insure this type of build.
Since this is a turnkey build, list the price... common sense let's us know that the cost would be a rough estimate based on location, changes, etc. I would love to subscribe, but if I have to ask the cost, I don't think I will. Please add the rough estimate with whatever stipulations and non-binding verbage you need.
If you share a little more information on the Homes, like a "info screen" before starting the video it would help with views. Put a estimated/approx price in the thumbnail, thats the first thing that people want to know.
I love these designs and the look, but does anyone else get an eye/cheek twitch when he says "window SEAL" instead of window SILL...?? Keep up the awesome designs and work 1845!
I like this floor plan, however, I need it to be doubled in living square footage Lastly, if you're seeing this.. they don't include cost breakdown cause land, labor, and materials vary :)
He mentioned in another reply that it’s wind rated to 120mph, 140mph is required in FL but maybe they can adjust. You definitely don’t want the black exterior in FL. The floor plan is perfect for me in Marion County other than the wind rating, exterior color and vinyl windows.
Black is the WORST Color for a Home in TX because of the Summer HEAT !!! Black absorbs and holds that Heat ! WHITE is a Better Color because it reflects the Heat
That's not Granite, it's Quartz! Might seem like a small detail but the difference is major. Granite is a natural material, it is a piece of a mountain and it's porous, that means it needs to be sealed and has its natural weaknesses. Quartz is a man-made/engineered surface that is non-porous and much more rigid, it will bend before it will ever crack/break.
It is beautiful but at starting price 350,000 for turnkey just makes me wonder how much this particular one is. It is a nice looking home for sure and you can see the quality of the work but the barndominium craze may have inflated the prices. Just my opinion
I guess whoever had that built ain't from around here, because a black house in Texas is a surefire way to make sure your electric bill is at least 400.00 a month, and your air conditioner fails at regular intervals...
Not the case, metal doesn’t absorb heat like shingles or other types of composite material. Black doesn’t reflect as well as white, but the color is not going to add extra work on the HVAC or cause stress on the home. Proper insulation and design is the key.
Not a fan of the bedrooms on the front. As someone that will wake up to just about any noise, I always want them on the back and place the HVAC away from the bedroom windows.
lol this has to be a single guy. Yall want to help me sel my house and build me one similar to this? I have a few things to add to this I want. I live around the same area.

We are in Winston Salem! Give us a call or email 903-935-9436 or sales@team1845.com
Be nice if you would include an approximate price.
Im guessing 350g-425g…
thanks for saying this. that saved me from watching 15 minutes only to Not know the price.

2:10 How durable is the sealed and polished concrete floor ?
Really nice house I assume all the plumbing is in the floor?
That.. Black on Black.. In TX? Does that not make the surface temp like 300 degrees in the summer?
