    Could do with telling us What Glue you are using?

      The glue in this video is "Exped Textile Glue" which is included in the repair kit that comes with the mat. "Seam Grip +WP" is a great over-the-counter alternative.

      The valve of my exped leaks. I found this by putting my mat under water. How to fix that? It's the output valve

    Hello, the seam on my 8year old synmat ul7Lw got open at one place. An other, I can sea through the seam, is going to leak very soon as well. I've been to the dealer today. This particular leak will only be made by Exped themselves, not by Bever( dealer). There is no quarantee on the repair. Bever told me that they don't know how you will repair this. Can you tell How you are going to fix a hole in a seam and a coming up one? And how is it possible, that the laminated seam, after 5 campweeks ( in 8 years time) leaks. It was always stored in a big box laid out, because that was the advice. 160 euros. I don't trust this brand anymore

      Same happend to me, always stored it beneath the bed semi inflated valves opened, but the mat exploded open with down gushing from the mattres in the middle of the night! Got mine replaced by Exped, received; not a new matres, but a returned one with a repair, previously owned. This one was also very weak, because it has opened on welding seam , and lots of xped mats suffered this problem for some years. To bad, most comfortable mats, but not manufactured properly. And the warranty ..... Just bad, seems nice to get a replacement but the replacement suffered the same issues. Moving to Nemo, lifetime warranty...

    Doesn’t water get in when the bubbles go out?

    • @ExpedLLC
      @ExpedLLC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not unless the puncture is especially large and the mat rapidly deflates. The volume of air in the mat is decreasing as it leaks, so the air bubbles aren't being replaced by drips of water so long as the pressure inside the mat is higher than the pressure of the water surrounding it.
