I whole heartedly agree. It is mostly minor nitpicks by now. Also, man be glad you hadn't to deal with 2x2x2 cores in pre-release... That was atrocious. On the plus side the platforms had no height limits besides the world boundary. But it's way better now.
@@KenetorTV Sadly this hasn't really changed... There is a lot more story now, but I still don't see it as a finished product. But I don't think their done, so I hope there is still something in the oven. I'm only hoping it doesn't get the "DLC" label.
I "was" playing satisfactory but it kept crashing for me again and again since 1.0 so i stopped playing :( hoping its fixed up by now so i can get back to it!
this game has gone from being a super fun game to an ok game, the previous map let you explore more and build much faster than you do now. very displeased that they changed the map, and that I lost all my saved cities that had built in 845 hours, will no longer spend my time on this game. but for the rest of you who like this type of game, it's worth a try.
They need to bring back old saves like a legacy map. I’m sad they took away the exploration. That was probably the most exciting thing and made better sense for all the terraforming gun upgrades that now feels a little pointless.
Hey I'm new to your channel & i stumbled to 2 of your videos astronotica and this one and it's funny that they both relate to my style of game i was wondering what kind of game your like before I make the mistake of buying every game your showing me I enjoyed subnautica also below zero & grounded those are the kind of game's I really liked but I make the mistake of buying game's that I never end up playing like ark evolved, enshrouded no man's sky ect.. thinking they be similar to but not but after watching and hearing what you said about astrometica & this one m going to get do you have any suggestions for me similar to what i only know i play vr ,pc , ps5 & Xbox I'll take any good suggestions
hi there, my taste is quite varied, which is why i try to mention other games in reviews to give context. For example this polays like the first subnautica which i liked better than sub zero, but i still love enshrouded and NMS. As I said the main thing to note here is the game is currently pretty short but its also pretty cheap. So I cant tell you what to get, I can only recommend games based on what they might be similar to, I have a whole playlist of reviews in the pinned comment if you want to check out other games ive looked at, i do my best to show the various gameplay elements in the games too
when you have games like Satisfactory that show you can have central catalog that shows all versions of the recipes in one place that makes things alot easier, its OK to learn and use these ideas. Or they could have used the late game example they themselves had and apply that to everything! this would fix so much!
Its an elevator simulator now. Any exploration that used to exist before the update is gone and the game is no longer enjoyable. Rather than having a really large map that I could traverse I have teeny tiny mini maps separated by an elevator with absolutely no exploration anymore. The devs destroyed the game and should just hand out refunds because it's no longer the game we all originally paid for 😠
thats a tad overly dramatic, and i understand you liked the massive map style it used to have, but thats what you sign up for with early access games, you purchased an unfinished game. the devs switched to this for good reason it serems and at the end of the day its a factory game not an exploration game.
Its not over dramatic and there was no good reason for the change. As a matter of fact the game works worse now and crashes every 10 minutes once you get to sierra. And what I bought before was a factory exploration game it's not even close to being what I paid for. It's a trash game now.have fun trying to get through all that sand in the later maps especially when you don't have room to move around because the maps are so tiny 😅
I played it back with the "big" map and the map wasn't all that big, the only thing that was kind of like a secret was the monolith. I see no difference with the elevator separating the old zones into smaller ones.
Early on you just fake it. stack them around that area with those first ones are or wherever. Unless something changed eventually you unlock core composers. Which are big platforms that will stack them for you.
Game is dead. Dev's said no more updates - poor sales.
damn, just confirmed the news myself, thats massively troubling :(

Yikes thats a bit on the large side! Really am hoping they tweak the ending though, after playing so long for nothing to happen was a big let down

Thank you for another epic review. This game looks good. Look forward for more videos in the futon
You watching my reviews in a futon?! 😂
@KenetorTV future!!!!!! Lol
This game is firmly nestled in my backlog. I'm still working through Satisfactory and look forward to jumping on to this next!

To bad Satisfactory grinds to a halt fps wise after a while. 30 fps on a high end rig ain't cutting it anymore.
@@fred6907 I've literally never had an framerate issues with Satisfactory. It must be your rig.

It looks interesting! I think the recipe issues would frustrate me no end, so I hope they fix that. Finishing the story would be good too!

Looking at it for PS5, thanks for the info.
No problem 👍

@@robbedoflife1828 i completed it just fine, there was PLENTY of room!
The sand was an interesting challenge too :)

looks cool, not for me sadly but interesting premise. keep the vids coming
Thanks, will do!
The game should have been called " Where do I put these damn research cores !!!"

there is a machine they go in, i only had to make 4 of them, they dont take up much room and they stack them for you :)
Easy answer, freight.
I found it extremely convenient to replace the Q key with the right mouse button. If something goes wrong, or to copy a building - just right-click !!
