More memory ,a 64 bit OS and a better video card would increase the performance on YT.
Not too much because its unsupported system. So you dont have drivers for recent cards with HW acceleration of modern videocodecs.

I still use vista as main and I don’t have any issues other than not running new games but my hardware isn’t even that great anyway
