- The widow of country legend Glen Campbell is breaking her silence about the family's bitter feud over his estate. The iconic musician died last August after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. “It’s a nightmare to have people threatening to kill you because they think you are this horrible person,” she said of the negative stories that have been told about her. She hopes to honor her late husband’s legacy by helping to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. #InsideEdition
I am so sorry. I went through this with my mother. They have no idea what you went through.
Here's my 2 cents (and thats what its worth)! Glen (whom I adored), was caught up with his show from the late 60's. The fame money ect..had his 3 children in all his Christmas shows, also those kids plastered all over the movie magazines back in the day. Glen with all his new fame and fortune left the second wife and probably a messy divorce. Probably didn't see those kids much after that. He went on to another marriage and child and left that. All that time drugs and achohol was #1. Then the Tanya years. The kids most likely were put aside. What kid wouldn't have issues with their father if my scenario is close to the truth. But it would have been the Father's responsibility to make peace with the children. I believe with all my heart the right thing is to give those kids a certain amount of money because that is their Dad! Its the Christian thing to do. Also Glen might have made that decision in a moment of anger. And his alzheimer's was probably around longer than they knew and he wasn't in a clear thinking mindset. One last thing. To have fired his first Daughter from doing his farewell tour is despicable! The one person that had traveled and performed with him was such a slap in the face. Nothing wrong with his last 3 very talented children being in his band, but to treat his firstborn was so unchristianlike! Just my thoughts...
Agree. This shows what happens repeatedly in these multiple marriages. The children get neglected, lonely and become unhappy adults. Especially when the last family gets the attention and care. Another case was Bing Crosby. His son wrote a book and his four sons became unhappy adults. The only happy ones seems to be the last wives. Lol.

If Glen had been in his right mind I would hope and think he would of wanted to make amends and include all his children in his will. He was a victim to what fame can create. My mom is currently in a nursing home suffering from Alzheimers/Dementia. For the last 10 years or so she started showing signs of confusion, going potty on herself, and literally eloping in the middle of the night and wondering down the street. So many family members never offered to step up, help out, or even offer a break to me and my brother who cared for her. Then when her doctor approved her for nursing home care, OMG how we were criticized! She weighed over 180 lbs, we could not manage anymore. We were like, well where were you!? We both had full time jobs too!
Its very sad, that in a moment of need family's can't be united in the common good for their own,
My moms been that way for 10 years now, I take care of her and my wife works. It's not easy but it is what it is and I wont let her go to a nursing home if she doesn't want to. Had to get a lawyer when the hospital was going to force me to put her in a nursing home during covid. Pain is weakness leaving the body :)

True. But it happens in many families. The biological parent can prevent all this drama with a conversation before time runs out. Not having a parent around in the crucial years can be painful too.
The kids didn't come around . I have two kids that don't come around. My estate will go to charity before them.

Tanya Tucker, a hot minute? It was a hot few years dear and it nearly destroyed them both but he was all in. She was basically a kid. He knew better. Just because you were his last and I think you pulled him out of a dark mess, that doesn’t wipe away the years before or the children’s pain of having an absent father. When Glen died so did the dreams of the previous kids ever having a loving father.

I went to Glens grave today. It's a beautiful peaceful and serene place.
I wouldn't think he would want anything but peace and love to prevail. With great wealth comes great strife. Pray for peace. Just to listen to his recordings and his love of God and his Word is more than money could ever satisfy. Jesus is coming back SOON. Get right and get ready.

If I was the father and my kids couldn’t spare just a little bit of time to visit with me I would also leave them on their own. I doubt very much that Kim had anything to do with them not getting a portion of the estate. However these same kids offered no help or didn’t visit their father so they getting just what they put into the relationship.
And that is one of the many ways families with money lose it all, you fight for your share instead of being a family.
I met kim around 2005. I took care of her mother in a nursing home. She was extremely sweet and kind. She visited her mother often and would come for meals to help feed her. Take her to the bathroom. Etc. And she was extremely nice to all the staff and very appreciative. Very nice woman
And if Kim is such a nice woman as you say she can share the inherited wealth with all of her husband's kids from various marriages, whom Glen abandoned during his selfish life.
Tanya Tucker also requested to say goodbye to Glen but Kim said no. That info came from Tanya herself. Kim is a liar. You can tell by the way she spoke about his children and Tanya. Kim wanted the entire $50M estate for herself.

I watched Glen Campbell talk about his affair with Tucker years ago. He said it was a cocaine fueled time of his his life. It was obviously something different to him than it was her, and she needs to move on. Looks like she's pining for her youth.

Yes! Everyone criticized Tanya for that;even Glen said it was doomed from the beginning( the relationship with Tanya). Yet, he married Kim very soon after Tanya.

Current interview: "He was the love of my life everything was great and I should be his wife instead of that old floozy."
kids deserve something when you got 50 million. He was a raging alcoholic and who knows what kind of pain he caused his children before she got ahold of him. Quit being greedy and give them some money that's the right thing to do whether they did right or not. A raging alcoholic doesn't have the right to torture his family from the grave he did that enough when he was alive.

They got her! Just watch the documentary. She says starting in year 2000 Glen started acting different. The will was made in 2002. All they have to do is say he’s not in his right mind. She should get her stories straight before she starts talking. I hope his estate is split equally and she was whispering in his year and he was already starting to go downhill when he changed his will.
If Kim wants to bring something positive out about Alzheimer’s then why is she knocking Tanya tuckers song since all proceeds go to Alzheimer’s research? Tanya is doing a lot more in Glens name than Kim could ever do! Thank you Tanya! I remember Tanya from barrel racing days also Reba. I’m from Oklahoma. My mother had like thirteen brothers and sisters and all her siblings died from Alzheimer’s. My aunt died on Monday my moms closest sister. They used to always be pictured as toddlers holding hands. Anyway my aunt died on a Monday and my mom died on Friday in that same week both of Alzheimer’s! I choose to believe my aunt waited for Mom and together hand in hand just like when they were little they walked through heavens gates together! Thanks Tanya for all your hard work because I’m sweating bullets I might need it someday.

50 million dollars? I think the father should have left something to his children regardless. I don't know his wife but do know taking him on tour knowing full and well he had been diagnosed with alzheimers seems a bit greedy on her part. I think they did over 100 shows. For him not to include his first children is shameful. Your children have to be really bad people to do something like that.
Kim should have received maybe 70% and split the rest between the children.

Glen wanted to go on tour, so not her fault ,saw it couple of times in interviews he wanted to do a last tour.
I also remember around show #80 he was already showing signs he should not have been on tour and I think they went all the way up to show #123 that's being greedy in my opinion and by then he was several years into the decease and was often disoriented and confused on stage. My step-dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the doctor told my mom who was 70 at the time if you don't put him in a rest home you will have a heart attack in about 6 months, well his 2 sorry sons wanted the ,$40,000 he'd saved so they wouldn't put him in a rest home, but they weren't worried about my moms health and sure enough 6 months later my mom had a heart attack trying to keep that old man at home. One of his sons was the president of a major hospital and made over $300,000 a year but he was willing to run my mom in the ground taking care of this old fart, I was furious and wanted to kick their asses for almost killing my mom, then they finally put him in a rest home and my mom got the $40,000 anyway. My mom talked my out of kicking their sorry asses, I'll let the Lord deal with them.
Well one thing Kim LIED about is Tonya has been saying off and on for years that Glen was the love of her life, they just couldn't be together, she even has a video out they how she just wanted to see him one last time before he died and kim wouldn't allow her to come to nursing home, so this was before his death, so what was Tanya going to do? Steal him away? I almost wonder if she settled out of court for why would the kids drop the suit when it was allowed to be entered by a judge?

@@hotties3v3n In the end it's the best thing for everyone because they become difficult to handle and can change in an instant . Men can be extremely powerful and be unpredictable in their actions . Until you've had a few experiences it will seem harsh to put them in a home but it is always best for everyone it's a horrible decease and needs experts to handle it regardless of the amount of love there is in the family . It's the safest for everyone , I can't imagine the broken hearts in that family .

Whether Kim did or didn't, Glen chose to marry her and lived his final years with her. They were apparently happy. No one is entitled to his wealth but her. It's up to her what and if they get anything. People make everything so complicated.

With that much money I would split it up and make sure each of his children got an equal share. But the wife getting the largest share.They all suffered greatly because of his stardom and addiction. He was a self taught, musical genius.
