First things first, AWESOME crawling course you have there sir a good test of this vehicle for sure. The first thing i noticed (as I`m sure everyone noticed) there is little to no clod stall, this is pivotal in the crawling world. I have a RR and I use 3S & 4S on it, i`m pretty sure you will be able to do that too with that ESC,. Yes, I did say 4S and I have video proof on youtube. It appears this vehicle has great potential just like the RR did, cant wait to see what you do to it next. I would change out the servos, and wheels and tires and put lead weights in my axles just like i did with my RR.

There should be the charger and tools where the radio was...need to put wheel weights in the front wheels ... and there is a new rear wheel brake/lock...

I like that the ridge runner and ridgerock axles are the same and redcat is releasing metal gears for the axles...

I am glad they changed it up to look more like a traditional truck and for the price it is a great deal! I loved the tires squealing u the big hill! Some additional weight down low to give it the traction is need and it would get up there just fine!

Really great rig for the money! I think like you, put some weight in the wheels and this thing will reclaim its Title as Best 1/10 budget crawler you can get! un less of course a Remo hobby honcho truck goes on sale. This is pretty hard to beat!

I bought mine from ebay so I guess I was lucky it got here fast but I buy all mine from hobby stores or ebay lol I'm not big enough to catch the eye of redcat lol
Not that bad the only thing that was really super bad from redcat was why O WHY bother with that funky style battery connector system!
I don't understand the battery either lol

Thank you for a fair review it’s the first really good review & look at the Redcat I’ve been trying to get as much info as I can about it since it’s release which no one even seemed to notice & it’s gotten a crappy welcome so far. For the price it’s a super good deal it’s hard to complain about it for the $. It looks like a fun rig just to have. I have many rigs including the Redcat Gen 8v2, Marksman & the Red Ascent & also have a Redcat Windigo. I always wanted to get a Danchee so this would be a nice addition. And I’m pretty much done with all my😂 upgrades to my Ascent I just went out today to test out the new Treal metal axles. I’m curious if the same upgrades & parts that fit the Danchee also fit this newer version?

I love mine! I'll I've done is raise to body a bit and put good wheels and tires on it and I'm having a blast with it.
