Really thoughtful of your recognition of the crew and service personnel. I've done a dozen cruises and the staff always amazes me. Its a wonderful way to travel.
Wait till you watch one of these ships dump tens of thousands of gallons of human waste in the local waterways of the cities they are visiting. The cruise ship industry completely destroys the ecosystems of the areas they are charging tourists to visit. It's disgusting.

Some people say that a cruise is a very quiet one. But watching this video shows that a cruise is a very dynamic one. Among them, whales and penguins were the most dynamic beings. It's a trip I really want to go on. Seriously.
It is normally very quiet, especially on a smaller boat where's not that much different things to do. The video only compresses all lively, active and dynamic moments into a short compilation, so it seems very active, but you shouldn't forgot how long the whole trip took and all the moments between the activities.
It’s quiet and boring. The land part with the penguins was probably few hours vs weeks on a boat. Just go visit chile\Argentina or even Australia. They have wild penguins for you to see for far far less $$

I’m glad you mentioned the crew and part of the reason why I’ve liked your channel for a very long time. Most cruise crew are from poorer/developing countries and are paid a pittance in comparison to how much these cruises make.
Hope someone at the cruise sees this and brings you back to make videos about the crew, their lives, jobs, logistics, just to see all the work and effort that goes into these cruises
Me and my wife paid around $25k per person for the cruise in 2019. The price has risen quite a bit but its definitely worth it, highly recommend everyone does it!
This is an amazing cruise. Our 30th wedding anniversary is this year, and we want to do something special, but this cruise is definitely not within our budget. 😢 Thank you so much for bringing us along, Sonny and Wife! 💜
I also would love this cruise. BUT, I could never afford it either. Last Saturday, someone mentioned cruises here for much cheaper(1/4 of this one). If you're going for the adventure and sights, and not just the food, room, etc., it may be worth checking into!!
Awesome video. I fully support the strict rules when it comes to visiting different habitats. While it may look ridiculous for your single visit, time those visits by 1000 (with everyone else's visit) and every small interaction get multiplied leading to a much bigger impact on their environment. Nonetheless you got to see things most people will never get the opportunity to see. Thanks for bringing it to us!
Dodged icebergs in Alaska when I worked for NOAA as a young man. Fun stuff to wake in the middle of the night to the sound of something scraping down the side of the ship.

Great episode! Loved the veal chop roasting on a stone. Sadly when I heard "South Georgia", i remember the 1982 Falklands War. The Argentinian military seized South Georgia but the Royal Marines put up a fight before surrendering. And then the Brits re-captured South Georiga with a mixed force of SAS and SBS commandoes. Glad this episode was solely on the beauty of South Georgia.
Who else can't believe Sonny and his wife actually paid $80,000 for this? At $40,000 per person, you could almost say the trip was polarizing as well. 😂😂😂

Was invited on an all expenses cruise trip once & I declined. My (now ex) boyfriend, his Mom & sister all ended up stuck in their cabins with the flu. Cruises have always been unappealing to me, but this video was interesting to watch.

The nerve to charge $300 for a massage ontop of a 40k ticket
Agreed. Massage should be part of the package. At least the option of a couple massages. Not necessarily every day. Staffing for that would be crazy.
Agree. It's ridiculous. They can have schedule reserve for couple for free. They can waitlist the slots available during the trip
