Been using pumice stone FOR-EV-ER. I'm almost 60, and a friend my age (and many that are way younger) said "What's that??" how can anyone old like me not know? Well, pay attention to THIS woman and how she cleans and what she uses. And if time travel is available...go back and listen to, or watch the great grandparents and grand parents...cuz sometimes, old school is the best school. Vinegar, baking soda, tin foil, pumice stone ...list goes on and on of things that are so old school that, when used for the right job, work as good or better than new tech! (I didnt say ALL, but certainly SOME). THIS WOMAN KNOWS HER STUFF! love it❤✌👍

Are you kidding?! I can’t believe this is all I needed. I picked one of these up from Walmart for $1.97 a couple days after seeing this video, then finally tried it a couple more days later, and it works!! I thought my grates were just “burned” but this made them new again! I have scrubbed and soaked and nothing worked before this. I will say, the stone dissolves pretty quickly so I’ll need a couple more to finish but I’m so excited! Thank you for sharing this with us!

I’ve used a very similar method for years, and my stove looks amazingly clean, with no scratching.
***note: when using this method, use common sense, and obviously do not scrub the bejesus out of it. All that’s needed is gentle rubbing the affected area. It’s that simple!! Try it for yourself, you’ll be amazed!!

She shows WHAT she uses, HOW, she uses it and what she uses it on and WHY she uses it on that specific thing. If you dont have a big enuff brain, or any common sense when u use a product on specific item then you shouldn't use it. Did you SEE any of the coating on those grates disappear? First thing I do when I clean the kitchen is fill the bathtub up with a little bit of dawn and let the grates soak in the tub the entire time I’m cleaning the kitchen. Stove grates.....put each of them into 1 gallon size bags and add some ammonia. Not a lot. Close the bags and left them soak about 24 hours for optimal results. The crude slides off! Legit! I've done it and it was a game changer! No scrubbing at all.

That’s why I just like a flat electric range. I don’t miss these big gas burning stoves lol. So easy to keep clean.

Yes. I'm allergic to chemicals and citrus. Makes cleaning hard... this is a great tip.

What I did was soak mine two or three at a time in my sink with THE HOTTEST WATER my sink produced as well as a bit of Dr. Bronner's Castille soap (in the peppermint scent if anyone cares), soaked it for a long time, and just continually refilled the sink when the water cooled or seeped through the crappy sink stopper, scrubbing in between each soaking session with my fingernail or a bottle opener magnet we have, and that worked even though it was a pretty long process. If you have the time to kill in between each session, plus strong fingers, plus the supplies on hand, then try this out. Why not? Happy Wednesday
