- I created the tiniest most realistic faux waterfall in this vid! PLUS illuminated with a simple little stick on light. I am obsessed with this little waterfall in a jar. It must be a secret. So far we have resin alcohol ink floral foam corn starch and modge podge.

What is that liquid your using? For the Fake water?
it is resin & i colored it with alcohol ink :)
What’s the second thing you added that made the water look more realistic and bubbly? It was three more tubes that you showed
The first was the clear silicon to add texture, then after it dried I used gloss medium to give it shine & white acrylic paint mixed in a little of the gloss to add the white marks that make it kind of look like bubble like then the waterfall hits the water .. hope that helps, sorry I should of did a voiceover over on this!

After some time will that become hard or sticky only?

The moss is real! Its dried out so its not real in a sense where it requires watering/ care etc.. & thank you sooo much :)
I hope you are selling these. Judging from the comments I need to get in line. I loved the last big one in a bowl. This mini is such a beautiful potential gift for a travel dreamer. Just imagine if you can eventually attach waterfall sound machine under or over the jar and plug it in with little light changing depending on part of the day. I love this! I commented before... You are true artist. I can only capture beauty as a photographer, but you create beauty. You are much bigger artist than me. XO

I enjoy your videos but what is the gray material you start out with? It looks like some type of clay.
Thank you Julie :) .. The gray stuff is floral foam. Its a very soft type of styrofoam that florist use to stick the flowers in the bottom of their arrangements. It also comes in green. I prefer it over traditional styrofoam bc its easier to cut & shape.

I love what you done but there were items that were just flashed infront of the camera or was barley in the camera. I watch these to learn and bottom line I did not learn much. was the clay air dry clay? that was just one of many questions. the jar was beautiful though
