    I love this one. We recently moved and had to leave my 5k gallon pond with about 20 koi. So, needless to say, I miss the sound of water. The stream is something I'd like to try sometime in the future. Thanks for the inspiration!

    This is absolutely beautiful, I just moved out of my house (I was I the process of building a small outdoor pond at the time of the move) we are moving into a small townhome on Monday and I am wanting a small indoor pond/garden, this would be perfect for me...I think a couple of Fancy Tailed Goldfish would be perfect for this set up, if of course

    I love the mini ponds you build. Realistically home ownership is out of reach for most people so owning/building a pond is out of the question. So building a mini pond is a great compromise for those who rent apartments or small homes. It is affordable and a way to recreate the outdoors in the indoors.

    Hi I'm trying to make something similar to this for my daughter. Only thing is I wasn't planning on using anything live due to her work schedule and lack of knowledge on growing moss, plants, etc. Rather I wanted to use faux trees, plants, etc. Is there a certain soil, or gravel I need for this considering it won't contain anything live? Also my other hold-up is can I glue any type of rock or stones to glass? Do you recommend any and type of glue? I have woodland scenic realistic water. Will that also suffice? Plz help and thanks for the instructions. I've searched so many of these and yours is the only one I have found that makes me feel like I can create this for her.

    I'm a terrarium artist, but I don't understand this process. The soil will be socked by resin and it will kill all the moss and plants. And you glued the live moss on the rock, and it will kill moss too. This video doesn't make sense.

    • @gemslife185
      @gemslife185  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the comments, however I just pour resin 20-30%, it will not get into the roots and moss. The moss attached to the rock will survive, because in the first place it is a piece of moss + earth

    • @caseyl.1684
      @caseyl.1684 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks really pretty now, but I have to wonder how it would hold up if it was living. If it was preserved moss I can totally see it holding up. Is that what you used? If so why add the charcoal in the beginning?
      I do agree, gluing live plants doesn't sound like the best idea but maybe she's using the glue that's safe for plants... There is a specific kind of glue that won't kill plants, most horticulture places have it.

    Hi, can you please tell me what ingredients you used at the bottom? Was that charcoal and soil mixed together?
    Also, does the resin get to the roots and kill the other live plants or no? It just seems like the resin will spread everywhere and the plants may die. Thank you! Great video and work by the way! :)

    What type of moss is this? Beautiful. Its so thin. I don't think we have moss like that here. One more thing, how do you keep the resign from going past the dirt. I tried it and it seems to find a way. Lastly I don't understand the moss will die comment. So you are saying if the resign touches the glue the moss will die.
