Pilots are literally bus drivers in the sky. As someone who actually designs automation systems for living, I can confidently say pilots merely press buttons and rely on engineers like me to keep you all safe. Usually when something goes wrong, pilots can’t do anything about it. The stuff they do manually isn’t hard to learn and doesn’t take years of high intensity higher education to master.
I love, LOVE, L O V E watching the planes land and takeoff from Haneda. The hotel I always stay at in Tokyo gives me a great view of the airport. ✈️ Thanks for sharing!

Hey they added Cameras. So you can see the Engines now.. No more asking the Help to go back and look out the window. To see if it's on fire or leaking fuel..
What highly coordinated choreography. Immaculate communication. This would be difficult for me, so it makes it many times more impressive that no one in this video is a native English speaker.

Haneda is the most crowded airport in Japan.But even Haneda is few takeoff and landing planes and no waiting for takeoff in night. 羽田は日本一の混雑空港だけど、夜だと羽田でも離陸待ちが無く空いていますね。
素晴らしい夜景を最高の場所から観れて羨ましい。一度でいいからコックピットから夜景みてみたい。
