I was inspired to get an Integra Type S at MSRP thanks to your videos! Kept reaching out and negotiating and found a dealer that sold me a White Type S at MSRP + $1000 in accessories! Loving the car
Congrats on the purchase my g! Beautiful car, I own a sgp fl5, I wish I got mine at msrp, I got it for 6k adm, so I paid about 50k for mine. I'm not too mad, because the type r sells for a lot more in other countries, in the uk it's like 59k at msrp for an fl5! If I paid more than the price for an msrp ITS, I would have been upset, but thankfully I didn't. My wife wanted this car so bad, she called literally over 100 dealers to find our fl5 in the color we wanted. She only found 2 sold at msrp, but they were already sold before she called.
The electronic processing fee is not bad it’s literally the fee they charge you for the person to hit print and type a few things into that sale bill. I was in Georgia I bought my STI brand new. Right now I’m selling my bro in law my 08 TL type s 6 speed and looking at either this car or a 2024 GT mustang. The dealership here I think wants 64k or something crazy which I won’t do. It just sucks because I have an 800+ credit score and my interest is still going to be 8% that’s outrageously high.
Congratulations man! Did you ask your dealer if they could do a dealer swap for the car you wanted? Dealer out in Sherman Oaks in Cali has some available in liquid carbon metallic assuming they would want to trade cars with your dealer.
Dope video man. From the west coast, one day i hope to live in a sunny state like florida or AZ as a retirement place and just chill while looking at my cars in the driveway knowing i can drive them anytime since its always nice weather 😎. Way to stick to your guns! As an ex salesman we are always told to try and sell you what’s available and youd be surprised who’s willing to take a car due to excitement later to then regret the color choice.
Congratulations Moon for this very positive acura integra type s news ! Have you also considered the elantra n (6-speed manual) as an option with better tech & exhaust note ?
@@moonrockschopshop thank you, my SFLA friend!!! Your videos tilted the scale and I went to buy mine today--white with black interior. Red interior is super nice, but a bit too racy for my current image, as I am no longer a spring chicken.
@moonrockschopshop I see that in another post, you asked someone else "What dealer?" In my case, you are surely entitled to know--went to Joe and Gio. 🙂
Exact deal I got there. I think it was worth it. Tint and all season floor mats alone are worth the 1k. Didn’t want the mud guards at first but once I got the car I liked them on. Hope it works out for you!

I will not even go to the dealership until I have the out the door price. I have done that the last three cars that I purchased. Email only no phone calls until I am ready to make an appointment to test drive. Don't waste my time.
Sorry, even $50k out the door is WAY too much for me for a FWD sporty 4-cylinder Honda... I ended up going with the GR Corolla.. Paid $38k cash out the door after tax and fees. Its a steal.. AWD, a proven 3-cylinder turbo engine capable of 400+whp stock.. Its all I could ever want in a little hot hatch. Sure, its not as luxurious, but, I could ball out the entire interior for the $20,000 Im saving LOL
@moonrockschopshop especially for the price! The only downside for me is the cheap interior, but I'll take that for awd and $20,000 in savings!!.. It's a shame because the new Type S is a beautiful car, they are just unaffordable to most people. Which is really sad. Honda was always about reasonably priced performance.. Not any more lol
They sold that car from up under you, bro. They've been known to do things like that. Also, if you are getting financed, pay the tax, tag and title fees out of pocket so you do not get that bank-rolled into your financing and make the monthly payments on those.
@@emjhaye I can’t really say, it all depends on how I feel , typically down payments only bring down the monthly by 20 bucks per thousand dollars or so. It all depends. But for 5k at 7% you are looking at about 900 - 1000 dollar car note
@@moonrockschopshop yeah looks like that suncoast offers me 7.5% 15k down for $57,500 loan for 60mos. estimated at $851.70 monthly. i just ended up spending the 15k on my 2010 evo 10 😀
I knew they get you with add ons when I hear MSRP. That’s a mark up. Weather mats and that other crap is not $1,200. That’s a mark up in my book.
It’s a little less than 1k on Acura.com but I don’t mind those add ons because I would have asked for them anyways
Yeah. It’s a markup. But at least you get something. That’s a much easier pill to swallow.

Yea bro, it’s a great car, I think you’ll like it better than the mustang. Interest does suck too but as long as you get it for msrp you’ll love it
@@moonrockschopshop that’s the key if I can get one for that and not the crazy markup it’s a small one because the interest rates are so dang high

Anyone considering an Integra type S, have you considered the new M2?
Na , I think this car will prove to be a better value than anything else on the market in this segment. Especially over time
Why work so hard to give someone else your money?
Pardon?
At those prices…. You might as well get something better 😂
I’d disagree, I think this is one of the best values on the market
