I just started golfing 3 days ago. I’ve gone to the range everyday and been watching videos to help with my drive. I started driving around 150-175 yards today I hit 250!! I’m pumped and so excited to keep practicing!
Think we're in the same club "Rookie Golf Addict". I got into golf bc I couldn't understand why these idiots are possessed by this tiny white ball. Now I am the idiot bc I can't stop. I'm at the driving range almost every day & have private lessons. Being a woman, guys come up and help me. They're so nice & helpful. I've been hitting with the driver for the 1st. Surprisingly I'm crushing it. I lift weights 6 days a week & have 6 packs. This is golf's enemy. Rory is my go-to bc he's muscular & totally max his performance in golf. I'll get there. Golf is hard but crazy fun! Get private lessons. Do it right at the beginning!
Amazing how no matter his results, Rory’s reputation will always be one of the best in the game. Just a great golfer and an even better human. Keep going Rors!
Great to literally hear the effort Rory put into those swings, it’s entirely possible to get after it and still middle it, they don’t hit it 350 without some effort!
I’ve been using an intermediate target and it’s so much easier focusing and lining up to a target that is 2ft in front of the club. Managed to hit my longest drive of 235yards yesterday. Great video guys
@@jordancalanchini3496 I think it’s good even when you can line up. I think it adds to your alignment and gets you more confident in you mind. Quite often your eyes can play games on you so it’s nice to have another point to aim at

Super interesting, I don’t think I’ve seen any video suggesting this but working with my coach on keeping the irons in front on the backswing I’ve adopted this with the driver and I’m hitting it better than ever and getting the ball to draw. Who would have thought it!?
"If I could caddy for a amateur, I could take 5-10 shots off a round easily" - Rory. Well this better be a series ASAP. I would watch that all day. Pros caddying amateur golfers? AMAZING.

Taking up golf again at 67. I compete with my mates who are 25 years younger. I may not hit as far as I used to but by following this great advice I know I am hitting the best I can. I'm also more times in the fairway than they are.
I’m seemingly always a bit late - and new to the channel - but still want to comment. I’ve been looking for Rory video footage online too as he has such a fluid “like butter” swing that serves as a goal to strive to emulate. I like all the lessons I’ve watched so far but in particular those on grip and stance and what to work on from meandmygolf. The fact that Rory agrees in this segment - that setup, grip and stance are half the battle toward a consistent ball strike - really reinforces my determination to improve.
Love the way Rory explains the basics and give tips so naturally . He is so athletic in his swing. He is my example how to swing a golfclub. Thanks guys for these vids.

Try this with putting from just off the green too! Has helped me loads when I’m not allowed to touch my ball and line it up

Love Rory’s effortless swing. Those mini goals during a round is important, I find I get caught up in the round and lose my way.
