I loved Rory until he had to get into American politics. Those comments ruined it for me. Still have to admit he has the most beautiful swing I’ve ever seen though.
@@paybax I think most of us, regardless of political leaning, would rather politics be left off the course and away from the opinions of players. I know when I play I’m not thinking about politics, I’m thinking about the next shot. That’s just me.
Fair play to Andy and Piers. They've come such a long way from the solid tutorials from the Astbury and travel vlogs being excited to play Torrey Pines for the first time to now playing with a legend of the game! Well done lads 👍
Rory is my favorite golfer, great vid!! Regarding the one question, I feel that higher handicapped players such as myself have a much easier time getting over a bad hole. We are so used to it that its easy to concentrate on the next hole with a clear mind.I feel that our enjoyment over a GOOD hole far exceeds our frustration over a BAD hole. Pro's aren't used to bad holes so it eats at them more. IMHO.
I remember when my daughter was born. It completely changed me and my life. Now it's my granddaughter and my life changed again. What a blessing. Good video guys again!
The focus "this season" on playing golf holes with pros and asking them how they approach their shots is amazing. In the past, the focus seems to be on a specific type of shot (examples like draw or fade) or a discipline like long game, short game, bunkers, putting, but this feels like a dive into all of them from a deeper angle. I love the mix of all of these and it is wonderful and adds variety. In my time golfing, I want to thank you and your guest hosts for all the insight you have added to my game.
Rory is my favorite golfer, always so honest in interviews, I cried a little when he was interviewed by Tim Barter after he missed the cut at the Open. I have never seen him show raw emotion like that before. Well done @Meandmygolf 👍
I love how no matter how big you guys get or how much of a superstar Rory is the humble nature and banter never changes. I could watch yee lads talking golf all day.
Excellent video, and must have been great fun to make. My observations. 0:55 - 330 yards to bunker. 2:33 - 335.5 carry 340.2 total distance. 10:48 - Rory's second shot, from atleast 10 yards short of the bunker. How is this possible?
Terrific video with Rory! He is such a great player to listen to and watch. Explains things clearly and is just a regular good guy (except he’s also a world-class champion!). I love the fact that you guys played your actual drives rather than editing out the fades and re-teeing for the camera. Makes me appreciate you more. Real is way better than staged. Huge future and continued success for you two if you keep producing such a quality product at Me and My Golf. Very impressed. 👍
Any regular person saying “I feel pretty good with this” before they attempt a shot would either second guess themselves or think they might’ve jinxed the outcome of it going in. Beautiful portrayal of his confidence and purely natural belief in his ability. Great vid guys
Wonderful video. This is one of the many reasons why golf is so much fun: you can play with the best in the world, have an enjoyable time and be vaguely competitive with them because of the handicap system. It helps that Rory is such an awesome guest.
This is previously the No.1 handicap hole on the course. It is easily the hardest tee shot from the Black Tee. There used to be a tall pine tree where the right fairway bunker is to make the visual even tighter, forcing you to the left side of the fairway. Just want to make these guys feel a little better, LOL!!:)
Hi Andy and Piers, I’m 14 years old and I started playing golf in April 2020. It’s the very first time I play golf before that I have never been on a golf course. My dad and mom played golf in the early 2000’s and they were high handicappers so they weren’t the best. I got my farther’s club’s that were manufactured in the 90’s and my brother got my mom’s. We both have never got coaching (not even from our dad, he only told us the basics). My brother has played 25 rounds to date and I have played 22 and he is a 8,9 handicap and I’m a 11,3. Do you guys think thats good. I mean for only playing golf for about 9 month’s. Oh and, Andy and Piers when I said we have never had coaching I mean live coaching so your videos are the ones we watched for ‘coaching’ and thats what brought us to those handicaps so I really thank you for that. Its the nearest thing we have had to coaching. And my dream is to one day get sponsered by Taylormade. Andy and Piers, have any of you been to South Africa before? Let me know when you do! Would love to meet you.
Fantastic viewing I think you look at Rory in a different perspective after this forget his struggles on a Sunday that we like to have a go at him for but this guy is truly a get human bean and get ambassador for the game
Just love Rory and his golf. And yours as well Andy and Piers. Me and my wife are going through your Pure Irons again now being indoors at the moment here in Sweden.
What a great guy Rory is, so well mannered and gracious with his time. Wow, to play golf with Rory, you are very lucky, but you have worked very hard to give yourselves the opportunity.
Me getting tips from these guys on how to drive better. Then watching as they both slice the ball nearly out of play. 🤦🏼♂️😂 Nice video all the same guys 👍
Andy and Piers are like physical monsters compared to Rory... but hey, the golf ball only knows the club that swings at it. Rory is the real monster!!! What a driver of the golf ball. Thanks for this treat guys!
Haven't seen you guys in awhile. Are you based in Cali now? Rory just makes the game look so easy. Hardly recall him even hitting the ball. Just a casual stroll and easy birdie. lol
Very nice little video. Rory seems like a very nice guy and you two handled the interaction well. It’s nice to get an insight into Tour Pro personalities, thanks! Tommy Fleetwood next?
Pat Perez because he’s hilarious, been a very good player for a very long time, age and size are similar to me, and I’d expect to be able to learn and apply more of what he’s doing/thinking/practicing to complete than from most others. Alternatively Jason Dufner for similar reasons.
For such a "superstar", how humble and down to earth is Rory!!? Will he win a Major in 2021? Let us know below.👇
Love you guys
For sure he will win when he will realize he is Rory!
Doesn’t look like it
Rory is such a class act. I’m glad he won again last Sunday.
Absolutely. 💯
Rory answered my question. get in!!
Love it Steve.
Shouldn’t you be a little more focused on the Warriors and not your golf game?
@@uAlbanyAthletics underrated comment
It was a good question tbf
Rory shows what a tremendous person he is. With the baby his life is about to change. Congratulations.
Yes he's very humble John and really great to interview.

The shining comes to mind!
Same.
Yeah, it's weird. But I think they've been doing it for like 8 or 9 years now.... it's kinda their thing.
@@chetlovesmer9549 what’s stranger is one of them seems to be in his 40’s and shouldn’t be wearing the same style of clothes!
I came here to make a joke about this exact thing. It's beyond weird.

I really like Rory... and mainly it's his personality, then his great game.
Love how level headed Rory has always been. Would really love to see him in the Major winning circle again.

Piers to have Rory tell you that you hit a great golf shot is something I’m sure you’ll never forget! Very cool!
That was so cool Jay!!
what a video! cannot wait for the Fleetwood iron video, been trying to emulate his swing lately.
Can you give us some details on the new putter? When will it be released? Saw Matt Wolff using one too

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Would have been good to find the fairway but always better when real.
Also, love the tip about how far you would miss by if you hit it straight at the hole. Going to try that.

Yes his clarity of the read was good then he just executed. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I was thinking this precise thought when watching the video. The mentality of a winner.
So Awesome that he takes the time to do this with you guys...Thanks for the channel! Rich
Even tour pros are jumping on youtube now this is a great time for golf!
Me and my Golf on the tee box: The pin is middle back left center about
Rory: who cares... get it in the fairway then deal with that.
Certainly an interesting approach. Many of the others guys factor that in but its' all about what works best for you.

JT must be thinking, Rory wants my iron-play? Wow!! Lol
I was just wondering, Rory being one of the - if not the best - iron player in the world, his choice was minimal... 👍⛳️
