    Great review and demo! Did I miss it? Can I use this out of my mixer into a lightning adapter via 3.5 mm ( I use the headset buddy from Amazon)

    Excellent testing. The mixer and the shotgun mic are a go for me. Still debating on the cam.

    Is this video still relevant with Logitech deleting the Mevo Mic App?

    Excuse my ignorance but you're plugging the iPad to the mixer. And the iPad is wirelessly to the mevo?

    What useful purpose does that softbox in the background serve?

    Great video Chris. What do think was the cause of the latency when you switched to the lightning adapter? I'm planning on using this as a stereo configuration with iRid Duo I already own, but have not purchased the camera yet. I'll be broadcasting concerts via FB Live and am currently looking for a better video source than iPhones.

      +Kip Conner I honestly I'm not 100% sure what caused the latency. It could've been switching to the lightning connector which is straight digital. Let me know what you come up with for a better camera source.

      I come out of my audio mixer ( stereo xlr- 3.5mm - headset buddy- phone ( for video) and I currently use the bossjock jr app to set the gain... works phenomenal ( making drum videos) but want a multi-camera option.... wonder if the mevo mic app will recognize my audio input via the lightning adapter like the bossjock jr app does?

    Is there any way to connect two mics to the mevo app without using the mixer? I'm thinking using 2 lapel mics for an interview instead of a shotgun mic. Please share!

    Could I also ask?
    1) using Mevo, can I stream LIVE to Facebook showing my powerpoint via Mac screen?
    2) possible to connect another SLR camera to capture a side/top angle to go LIVE at the same time?
    Thanks.

    Great tutorial. Thank you! Can you advise though:
    1) using Mevo, can I stream LIVE to Facebook showing me and my PC screen at times?
    2) possible to connect another SLR camera to capture a side/top angle?
    Thanks.

      Yes you can do a live stream on Facebook, however you cannot share your screen on your pc unless you point the Mevo at the screen of your pc. At least thats the only way I know how to do it atm. I do this in my live video show. I have the camera pointed at me and a 42 inch monitor. You may be able to connect multiple devices for streaming if you sign up for live stream, the company that makes Mevo. Please let me know if you find a solution

    Hi, thanks for the video... I've been trying to figure out the easiest, simplest way to record a guest/interviewer (me and my guest) video. Live would be cool but NOT critical. The MEVO intrigues me but I'm thinking the audio from say across a table would be mediocre...??? I just don't know. Maybe the answer is a shotgun mic on the table in front/middle of us??? Any feedback would be super - thanks ! Might I add I have 4 never used sm58's and a Sennheiser wireless lav set up too. That may or may not be of any value... is there an IRig or does that iRig allow for 2 mics?

    I plan to buy one Mevo using external audio source... The thing is that any digital interface put a latency (mine is around 4 ms)!!! So sound and picture won't be in sync for live streaming. Is there any way to delay the video to get it in sync with sound while streaming live? Also is it possible to re-edit the video mouvement after the shot done? Thank you.

    • @Tnerdt1
      @Tnerdt1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rémy K , Good questions. Firstly I don’t know about the audio to video latency. The issues I had in previous Mevo videos had been corrected after Mevo pushed out hardware updates. I continue to do live shows on my Behind The Iron Throne FB Page with little to no synchronization issues. As for editing the video after the fact. You cannot edit the movement shots. You can tweak them with video recording software. You can even crop them but you cannot change the movement in the way I think you mean. I just want to finish by saying the Meadville camera does come with different issues at least my first generation does. The new Mevo plus seems to have addressed the connectivity issues. I would suggest getting the new were model although I have been very lucky with my first GEN unit and the boost battery ethernet connector. The Mevo has allowed me to do video work I was previously unable to do.

    Hello my friend, how do I connect 2 or more lavalier wireless mic to my mevo or a mixer? I understand when u explained on the video to connect to the channel 1 and whatever but if I connect 2 or 3 lavalier wireless mic i am guessing i have to use channel 1 2 & 3 but i have 1 headphone jack so how do i do it? 🤔

    • @Tnerdt1
      @Tnerdt1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max Zapata yes you will have to use the other channels. 2,3,4 etc. as for the the headphone port. That should not be an issue. Unless you have every one in the studio monitoring audio. If you need more help hit me up at feedback@TNERDT.com

    Has anyone figured out how to use an external mic for Mevo but have the connection wireless via bluetooth?

    Help
    What about multiple external audio sources like using 4 wireless Movo lavalier microphones, as I would like to hold panel discussions with fellow disabled people, I need a simple system that once setup will run on its own and record to my Macbook and stream live, I want the camera to pick up everyone's audio and point the camera to the correct person
    Does anyone know of affordable software that will allow me the stream live to multiple sites like Facebook and TH-cam
    please help me
    Paul

      you can but need to use Livestream studio software to pick them up as separate camera inputs it cannot use the mevo app as max said

    • @Itsappletimeshow
      @Itsappletimeshow  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Total Nerd Takeover you need to use the live stream software. Multiple mevos not working with app.

    Wow, sad you cant hook the audio into the camera but instead it goes into the phone or tablet you are using. Thanks for the info, I'm not going to bother with a Mevo anymore. Hopefully they put out a new version that has real mic inputs into the camera

      You can use a USB mixer with the Mevo Boost accessory.

      that's because you control the camera wirelessly from the ipad which is better. The Mevo films as if you have multiple cameras, operated through the iphone/ipad.
