    Just wanted to send you a quick thanks for the time in making the video. Question...Are you getting stereo into the Mevo? Just asking for I have yet to be able to get anything but mono. Thank you.

      I don't have the app, nor an iPad, but I *think* the TRRS input is always mono (I think it represents the mono sound from a mic); if somebody can confirm, thanks. I suspect that the Mevo app allows to connect to a iPad stereo internal imc.

      Hey bro sorry for late reply - the Mevo does have stereo mics - but your question is stereo input via external device - from my experience - i see two signals on the Mevo App but the input via the iRig2 or other devices is mono.

    Hi. Can you show detail of how you hooked up the mevo to the board. I saw you plug in the cable to the ipad, but not anything about the connections you made from the board to the ipad. I am a novice and can you explain how to make all the connections to make it work as in your video. I am not understanding why it only gives volume to the mevo from the group faders. Thanks for your help.

      Sure, we have a setup that works for us and it still changing. I chose to use a group fader because i wanted a dedicated out for the Mevo Mix. I chose not to use a Tape Out because it gave me the option of using a dedicated fader to make any adjustments to the signal as it goes into the Mevo. We typically had a drastic change in volume from full band to podium mic. Instead of going into the Mevo app to adjust the gain, the person watching the Board and having the iPad could make any adjustments faster than using the app. We also have a sub group sending audio to a computer that captures the audio.
      If you watch this video, it will show a much smaller mixer setup and the signal flow. th-cam.com/video/Qg36VBuOCwg/w-d-xo.html
      Let me know if that helps

      Awesome. I do have a special request. A video for audio beginners. How to set up mevo from scratch, using a mixer and sound system. How to go LIVE with mevo, and record the audio of a live performance. while outputting the audio to main speakers for the audience. I am still a little confused on how to get the mixer into the ipad /iphone, while outputting to speakers at the same time........Thanks in advance. I do appreciate you taking time to respond as you have. Shalum.

    Hey Marlon, thank you for the work you do in sharing your tech knowledge to the body of Christ. It is very helpful and my question is, we have a behringer mixer and struggling to have a mevo audio set up, we are wondering if there is any way we can reach you privately for some help. Thank you so much.

    Sometimes when we use a lot of instruments & microphones the sound on fabebook live gets really bad i wonder why, should i lower the volume on the mixer or on the mevo app?

    • @MV-in8xs
      @MV-in8xs 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That depends. My guess would be to check your audio levels when you are streaming. It is usually in your right hand of the screen, if it gets RED you are clipping and will actually cutout a bit. So check that when the band is playing. At our place, the band is always louder than the person who speaks so there has to be some adjustments on the levels. Another option that I use is to add a compressor/limiter before right before the audio goes to the Mevo. This will help "tame" the audio. But there really isn't a set it and forget it option with audio - you will most likely have to monitor it visually with the meter in the app. Hope this helps

    Looks like a mono connection also the two meters moving total in sync and you left the input channel pans centered.

    • @MV-in8xs
      @MV-in8xs 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes it is a mono input via the iRig even when i use a balance line - the iRig2 is primarily designed for instruments like guitar/bass etc. - i have not tried to run it in stereo from the input - but the stereo option is of course available with the built in mic - i have also used the shure mvi which is is mono as well and connects via the lightning port - the meters read show both sides coming in equally.

  • @tubassee

    Looks like you get a mono signal with this setup?

    • @marlonv
      @marlonv  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      correct because the iRig is a mono input

    Can I use this irig2 for Gopro audio too?

    • @MV-in8xs

      i am not certain - which gopro? the gopro would need some sort of audio connection/mic option interface - possibly via its usb port - but i am not too familiar with the camera.

    We mix for room, not livestream output so this doesn't work well.
