RE: audio echo. The only way to fix this is to use an external mixer of some sort. That way you can monitor through the headphone jack of the mixer. Mevo is designed to work over wifi and as such there is going to be delay from conversion to digital and encoding each video camera stream which is previewed in the Mevo Mulitcam app. Then each audio source is demuxed and combined in the audio mixer before re-encoding the switched program output. And then at that point you hear the audio through the iPad/tablet speaker,
They do give you 4 different video source latency choices for flexibility, but ultra low latency may not be possible depending upon the wifi network.
    Enjoying your videos.
I agree that the built in mics do not sound the best. But due to camera placement they have to be a distance away from the subject.
I use an external flash recorder to capture my audio for post production.

Thanks Gordon! But, is there a way to use an external mixer along with the Multicam app? I'm working on a follow up video and should have it posted in a couple of weeks as I have some others to get out first.

@@TheGadgetGuru You can bring in external sources directly into the tablet with an interface or as analog through a camera’s stereo input jack.

@@GordonGidluck I'm not sure I'm following you. The camera has two inputs: 3.5mm and USB-C. Other than inputting mics (or power on the USB-C port), even if you use a mixer to bring audio into one of those inputs, I'm not familiar with a way to monitor the program audio without hearing the latency echo. I hope I'm wrong about that! I'm currently evaluating quite a few USB mics and most of them have headphone jacks and volume controls, but that method only monitors the audio before it goes into the Multicam app, not the program output. What's your thoughts on this?

Saramonic Blink 900 sounds the best to me. I will tell you that I have done a live set with music and was surprise with the quality that the Mevo mic have without plugging in my system into the 3.5 input. Thanks for the review. For the money I guess we have to buy our own add on to meet our expectations.

Based on my usage, when used for dialog and conversation, the internal mics just don't cut it and an external mic is needed. I can understand how the internal mics may work well for music. I agree with you about the Saramonic Blink 900 and considering all the accessories that are included, it truly is a great value. Check out my review: th-cam.com/video/vQIOUTXeikE/w-d-xo.html&t

I have been using three mevos over the past year and I honestly think their own microphone is amazing but in big churches or cathedral where I tend to live stream from time to time the rode wireless go have been top class for our company

I can only say that much of that depends on the surroundings. I found that for dialog, the built in mics paled in comparision to even the most basic wireless microphone.
