I have a new channel to watch now.just picked up my first Goldwing 2 weeks ago in Plant City. 2007 w/ 16k miles. Almost flawless ride. I'm still adjusting to it as I'm a very tall rider (almost too big for the bike). I'll definitely be watching your videos for added knowledge and advice.

87 octane is actually a better gasoline. The higher octanes have retardant put in them so they wouldn’t ignite prematurely. Without the increased compression, the higher octane is actually worse. In fact cars with premium requirements can use 87 octane unless you are going up hills or stomping on the gas pedal. If you live in Florida or other flat state and drive conservatively, you can do fine on 87 octane… IMHO

That air filter is a job but get a manual and go for it. It's not that hard. It also lasts a long time. The intakes are located where they don't suck too much dirt and bugs. I run them 40-50k miles.

Love this video and your channel. Just bought a 2005 30 year anniversary edition 12k miles like new for $8400. I’m happy and absolutely love the ride.

I have been riding a '83 Old Wing for the past 12 years. On Friday I bought an '04 GL1800 Old wing with 96k miles on it. Looking forward to the new adventure. Learned a lot from this one video. Thanks. Anything I should be on the look out for on this New to me Bike? I only have 70 miles on it riding through Central Florida , so far, so when I say new... I mean new to me.

Hi I am planning on looking at a 2002 on Sunday and possibly buying it. I don’t know anything about it so your videos are helping me I was used to riding the BMW RT. A couple of questions if you could answer them I noticed that these bikes of this year does not have heated grips or heated seats. I wonder if there’s a way to modify those on these. And the next question is your driver seat back rust? Do you happen to know where you purchased that from looking forward to seeing more of your videos when I hopefully buy the bike. thank you.

I do not think you can add heated grips or heated seats without a lot of work. The seatback is a Markland from Indiana. It was on the bike when I bought it and there is no rust. Thank you for watching!
