    This vibrant, history-rich city will not leave you indifferent. As Rick Steves said, it is a perfect starting point to further explore the intriguing charms of Sicily.
    We feel we also have to mention the royal, Norman palace with Palatine Chapel, the mystic Capuchin Catacombs, and sandy Mondello Beach, which are all absolutely worth visiting. What are you looking forward to seeing the most? And if you've already experienced Palermo - what was your favourite moment in the city? Let us know in the comments below.
    As the Normans called Palermo - it truly is "The kingdom in the sun".

    Hi! In the bonus section - where are the stairs in 5.52? And the bar with the food just after that?

    • @WolfpackTravel
      @WolfpackTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Michaela, the stairs are called Salita Badia Vecchia and are in Taormina, just across Fontana di Piazza Duomo, while the cold cuts board is from Déjà vu Bistrò in Cefalù.

    They are NOT called Arancini but the real name is ARANCINE / ARANCINA. Arancina is Female! This is considered a big mistake here in Palermo. Arancini are a different Catania kind of balls of rice.

    What about the tons of garbage on each and every street in Palermo. It is literally the dirtiest place I have ever seen in my life. I'm really disappointed

      Le tonnellata di spazzatura sono nella tua fantasia. Io ci sono stato ad agosto e l'unica spazzatura che ho visto erano solo pochi sacchetti in qualche via del centro storico. In centro città non c'è spazzatura.

    • @andgiaim

      unfortunately it is not in her imagination, even in various places in the center there is garbage.

      @@andgiaimci sono migliaia di commenti sui video che riguardano la Sicilia,e nessuno parla di spazzatura ,purtroppo voi nei vostri paesi vivete in posti brutti. Allora la vostra invidia vi porta a commenti come questi.

      @@andgiaim io sono stato a Palermo ad agosto scorso e di spazzatura nelle strade non ne ho visto. Tranne nella vucciria,la sera tardi in in angolo c'erano dei sacchetti di spazzatura e bottiglie di birra vuote. In centro zona pedonale ho solo visto i cestini della spazzatura la sera pieni e i cassonetti della spazzatura in qualche strada secondaria anch'essi pieni. Ma non mondezza abbandonata per strada. Semmai il servizio andrebbe rinforzato con svuotamento dei cassonetti almeno 2 volte dl giorno. Poi riguardo il resto le dico io sono Siciliano e da oltre 20 anni vivo in una città del nord ma anche lì i problemi di cacche di cani e rifiuti ingombranti ci sono e sono documentati dai giornali on line locali. Quindi dire che un posto è sporco e un altro no non di può dire . Poi io non so lei da dove viene può darsi che il suo sia un paese che ha pochi milioni di abitanti e concentrati in pochi grandi città, dove i problemi compreso quello della spazzatura sono facilmente risolvibili. Non saremo perfetti ma sicuramente meglio di molta altre città anche europee e lo dico per esperienza diretta, perché per lavoro ne ho viste molte.

      @@andgiaim Ma questo allora vale per tutte le città del mondo,anni fa sono stato a new York, il centro era perfetto,ma appena uscivi dal centro ,case basse in legno e degrado in ogni angolo. E questo vale per Milano,basta spostarsi in quartieri come San Siro o quarto oggiaro e le altre periferie e la situazione cambia in peggio. Poi capisco che chi come lei non ha avuto la possibilità di viaggiare e vedere come è il resto del mondo non ah un termine di paragone e quindi pensa che quello che non funziona nella propria città, è solo nella sua città.
