The chords of the spanish guitar, the flamenco dance, the moorish architecture, the flowers, the scent of the orange trees... It's a city that intoxicates you, in a good way.

50 years ago, I finished my military service in Germany and went to Spain to celebrate. I fell in love with Seville, the music, the food, the people, and the beautiful women. To this day, I can remember watching four young girls clapping and singing and dancing flamenco in a park one afternoon. They were just children, and they were amazing. Later that evening, I went to a bodega in the old Jewish quarter and sat drinking a beer and watching young couples from families of the neighborhood take turns getting up on a wooden platform to dance flamenco ... again. And, again, it was amazing. The city and the people are unforgettable ... literally.

Sevilla is absolutely fantastic. It has the character of southern Europe but is much more orderly and safer than cities like Naples. People in Sevilla always seem happy. they are always ready to talk to a stranger and to joke around with him. Sevilla is soul and hearth of Spain. The only thing i don't like about seville is the excessive heat. Don't visit the city in summer. The best time to visit the city is in April. The passion with which they live the Semana Santa and the Feria de Abril is simply amazing.

One of the better videos I have seen of Sevilla. Well done, it was great to see you interact and get to know a little bit of what life is for the Sevillanos… As an American by birth, it’s nice to see another American in Sevilla. I was there in April of 2022 and the positive definitely outweigh the negative. I guess I encountered some bitter people but most were very friendly and welcoming, lovely people and very helpful and considerate. Nice to learn a bit more of this great city and it’s citizens. Also, your Spanish is excellent with the Spanish accent. I have a Mexican accent. Greetings from Southern California and May God bless Spain and USA.

Barely 4 minutes into the video and I can already tell how great it is. A applaud you for making a channel like this. It's different from almost all other travel videos and channels one gets to see on TH-cam. A place is nothing without its local residents, and videos that just show places without any interaction with locals are quite frankly missing the very soul of that place. My only complaint is that I don't speak or understand Spanish, so adding English subtitles would be great.

    Hello Ross.
A back condition has sidelined me for the past few weeks and while travel experience surfing on TH-cam, I came across your channel. I just have to let you know how refreshing it’s been to watch an young American (who seems to have an endless knowledge of languages, seriously how many do you speak?) just observing the world around him instead of making it about himself. I just started your first couple of videos from your trip to Milan and found myself chuckling at your corny but cute references, and I really appreciate watching an offbeat perspective of both the locales and those you encounter along the way. These videos have made my time laid up (and my own missed vacation) a bit easier to bear. Travel is one of the best human experiences we can have, so when people bring content like this to those of us who can’t travel, you are in a sense doing a humanitarian service. Hope you keep up the fantastic work 😊

Ross, Oh, man. This is a delight-the best thing I have ever seen on TH-cam. I've saved it to bookmarks so I may watch it again and again. I'm an 82-year-old Irish man who is trying to learn a second language before I kick the bucket. I think I got about 10% of it, but I want 20% in 6 month's time. From there on, it's upwards and onwards. Gracias, Ross. Muchas gracias.

Phenomenal commandeering of the spirit of Seville and its people. My grandfather spoke of his visits to Seville as a young man and I recall him saying that sometimes you can hear the wind and flowers sing in Seville.
