An interesting thing about Genshin's gameplay is the element gauge theory in genshin, about element application and how each character doesn't apply the same amount of element application. A visable evidence of it's existence is ice bridging, depending how strong their cryo application is, it will influence the duration of the ice on the water and it's effect. There is a video that better explain this. A quote from the Genshin wiki, "Elemental Gauge Theory, also known as Gauge Unit Theory, is a community-created framework on how Elements are handled within the game"
Take note that this game has a playable God characters like Nahida, Raiden Shogun and Furina upcoming next version. I will not mention the other first 2 god characters because they hide their identity as a god
54:51 - There's a very fun mechanic for Dragonspine called "Sheer Cold" that gives you a set amount of time that you can be away from a source of heat for before you slowly start losing your health. There's ways of extending it (namely this one dish, Goulash) but there's also ways to dramatically decrease how long you have -- such as coming into contact with water and it definitely makes completing the Dragonspine quests interesting. But story-wise, Albedo & Eula both have their reasons for not being affected by the cold as much, and Amber can easily make herself a fire. Kinda hoping they add the same mechanic to Snezhnaya tbh.
It's fun to watch folks watching these with no context and start crafting their own theories on what's going on. Just so you know... Hoyo loves making trailers with plenty of misdirection. So what you see isn't exactly what's going on in the game.

"Die Mittsomernacht Fantasie" (Not sure whether spelt correctly) is the epitome of "don't want to kill the enemy because the music will end" in Genshin. It's a limited event battle music Or the various boss themes or even the music pieces for their skin trailers
While making events replayable is, I'm told, on the to-do list for this game, and it is unusually possible for an online gacha game - a lot of the framework has been in place from an early point - it's pretty far down on the list. This game makes some actual effort to track what parts of the game you've been through, even event content, and making sure it's possible to save and restore the state of the world to accommodate temporarily changing the time period isn't easy to get bug-free. The developers are also probably worried about reward and balancing issues, although most people who want to replay events just want the story - like the "Hangouts" for most 4-star characters which are in fact repeatable quests because they don't have any lasting effect on the world. It also means revisiting the critique of temporary minigames which are in some cases revisited in later events and readjusted; there's a lot of potential work involved and I'd expect another two years before any significant progress gets made towards making events and major parts of the storyline replayable. Of course, this is two years of risk of something happening to the game itself... c'est la vie.
it took them 3 to implement switching quest priority despite it being highly requested since day 1. So anything involving quests is likely to take awhile.
Genshin continues to up their quality as well as make very immersive stories! Watching these really takes me back. I remember when this game came out. It was during the pandemic, and I decided to try it out as I had nothing to really do. At first, it was a little choppy(they've improved the quality since then) but also it was an amazing game! The exploration, the character interactions, the stories, the music- it was just this overall magical feeling, immersive place! And I took a break here and there but for the most part I stayed so invested in it! It's been three years now and I am so happy seeing how far Genshin has come (Sorry, got into a trip down memory lane there lol) Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction and just your appreciation of the music. I have had times where I just sit and listen to Genshin's music for hours. There's so many amazing soundtracks . OH I also wanted to let you know that Genshin Impact has actual orchestra concerts. I'd love to see you react to those! When you're in the game, you hear the music all the time,. But actually seeing it played by a live orchestra and creating all the mesmerizing sounds- it's just magical! Some of their musical pieces have actually made me cry! As you noticed, each region has their own music, monsters, stories, and vibe. Fontaine is where we are currently and this Friday the special program to introduce another new character as well as 4.2 update comes out! Seriously, Neuvillette is one of the--(if not)--the most awesome characters in Genshin Impact. Amazing story, intriguing and important lore, perfect personality, very strong damage in gameplay, unique gameplay. If you told me that he wasn't one of Hoyo's favorite I wouldn't believe you. He's very the first character in Genshin to make me feel some sort of way... and that's saying something to me. (He's not my most favorite {reserved for Tartaglia and Qiqi}, but he is such an amazing and well-written character, I can not fathom whoever says they hate him. At first, I felt indifferent about him, but HoYo did such an amazing job with his part in the quests, and now I love him so much. {plus, he's a brand new character that was just introduces 2-3 months ago, and he already has so much loyal fans
I don’t even like him and even I can admit he is definitely getting special treatment. He has had a cutscene for him walking about and having memories and a few fighting cutscenes whilst the Hydro Archon has had none!
nevilette is actually the worst character in genshin. Its mery sue type which is so boring and uninteresting. You actually cant think of a more stupid character ark in genshin then his. He gets everything on a silver platter when he does nothing to deserve it

With the premise of what it celebrate pretty much being 1 to 1 with the holiday. Also, as a heads up since time-limited event climax cutscenes are heavily tied to the story of the event, some of these tend to go over your head or can feel unfinished as it is bolstered by further dialogue cutscenes. There is also Khaenri´ah which was destroyed by Celestia (the Place where the God resides who rules over that world) which is from what we saw so far inspired by Nordic and Germanic Mythology. Or the Archons they mention, each Region has a Archon who is a God and represents one of the Ideals suppichan27 mentioned, they have normal, "common" names they also mention in these Trailer (Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, Nahida and Furina) but each of them also has another Name who is directly derived from one of the 72 demons found in the Ars Goetia, one of the books in The Lesser Key of Solomon. Some other Gods they mention in the Game who existed a long Time ago before they fled Teyvat have also their Names derived from the Ars Goetia.

"they got little girls caught up in this thing??" oh boy wait until you hear about the world quest Unfinished Comedy. if you ask me which region is my fave, i'll have to say liyue. maybe it's because my grandma is from mainland china but it just feels like home. it helps that moon in one's cup, which plays in the city, is among my favorite genshin ost. sumeru and fontaine are about the same in my fave list, for the music and environment. monstadt is next, then last is inazuma, because while i love the music i just really dislike the puzzles.

the guy at 21:00 is an adepti, one of the gods of liyue which that city is a part of, the lanterns are supposed to represent your wishes for the next year. Think of this as their new year event. A lot of the stuff in the version trailers are only playable during that version so most of them are unplayable now, they will recreate elements of the stuff into later events though.
Oh some things to keep in mind- a good chunk of the events shown are short termed, but several are recurring, but the stories always different. 2 events ALWAYS happen every year- Lantern Rite (game's version of the Chinese New Year) and the Summer event (it involves a whole new, but temporary area). The Summer event is always a bit of a prelude to the next Major Update when the new area drops. Here's examples of what each of the Summer events forshadowed- 1st Summer- It showed off one of the mechanics you'd get introduced to in Inazuma- using a boat. Inazuma is a region of Islands, and initially the only way to get to them is by boat until you unlock fast travel points. FYI, main story wise, you can't get into Inazuma until you complete the 2nd region (Liyue)'s story. You also saw a Samurai there in the trailer, which is Inazuman. 2nd Summer- Story wise it hinted what was to come in Sumeru, plus music plays a role in Sumeru exploration and that was one of themes for the 2nd summer event. 3rd Summer- The area has both story and themes centered around Fontaine. I won't spoil the story part of it because it's connected to Fontaine lore, but Fontaine's theme is steampunk and location was like a circus as you saw in the trailer. There are other trailers that are connected to both World Quests and Character Story Quests. To answer your question- sadly there's no parry. You can only dodge. You asked what's our fav place to explore? Well, I am not surprised by this, but my fav area is Fontaine due to the underwater exploration (there is a story reason why you can only swim underwater there). I've always had a bias for Water levels so this doesn't surprise me. One area I don't like exploring is that icy mountain, Dragonspine. It has a constant chill factor, but there are areas you can use or light up to keep yourself warm. Anyway, here's my ranking of the regions so far based on exploration, and it should be noted I do like all of the regions for one reason or another. 1. Fontaine (love the water exploration, but I love the aesthetic and the puzzles here, I love French culture, which Fontaine is based around) 2. Inazuma (this surprises me since I generally don't like lightning-based areas, but I enjoy the island hoping and other uses of moving around. Sangokomiya island for me is the prettiest location in the game, very dreamlike). 3. Liyue (It feels too big in some areas. Fav areas include Minlin, more specifically, the area with all of the Stoney Peaks, and the Chasm. 4. Mondstadt- It's a good tutorial area and I love Storm Terror's area, but it also has Dragonspine. 5. Sumeru- While my opinion of it has improved over time, it's still to big and complicated to explore at times and I didn't like how certain places and mechanics were locked behind quests. And yeah the ratio of desert to rainforest is not balanced at all (1/4th Rainforest, 3/4ths desert). I still like Sumeru for there are fun parts too it, but it has a big learning curve to it, if you ask me. @1:05:23- You asked about those types of weapons- those are called Catalyst weapons. They can look like books or orbs. There are different types of weapon users in this game- Polearm (spear), Sword (light sword), Claymore (heavy sword), Bow, and the Catalyst. In general, if you don't see a weapon that doesn't look like the first 4, I mentioned, it's probably a catalyst. They always float around the character and are hand held types. Catalyst users throw magic at other foes basically. Like Yae Miko is a Catalyst user. You saw her using a small baton there. Gameplay wise she'll always be carrying around a catalyst weapon. Sometimes when certain chars use their 'special attacks' their weapon can change appearance. Like Raiden's main weapon is the polearm, but when she uses her special move, it turns into a katana. Yeah you're timing is pretty good in watching this since Genshin's about to have another update. I don't know if you've been playing close attention, but updates go by numbers. In the first year the game was released you have all of the 1.0 updates. When Inazuma dropped, it started the 2.0 updates. Sumeru had 3.0 updates, and now with Fontaine, we've started the 4.0 updates. The next update is 4.2 update, which is USUALLY when the last chapters of the latest Archon (Main story) quest drops. Btw, you mentioned Kingdom Hearts at one point, I assume you know who the Master of Masters is? Well his VA is the same VA for Neuvillette lol. Talk about range lol.
Lantern rite is equivalent to lunar new year. People release lanterns scribbled with their well wishes :) it’s supposed to be auspicious. This event occurs without fail every year around february. In China, I believe they spend around 15 days celebrating it. :D in the patch that falls on these days, most likely liyue characters will be rated up in the gacha pool. The islands that you see, is actually an event location. It comes sometimes before a new version. It’s cool because we are invited to the islands by Alice, who is Klee’s mum. She’s never around but she likes to invite her daughter and her daughter’s friends to new places (limited time) places. She’s one of the Hexenzirkel witches. She’s able to modify the islands every single time we get invited there. :D

Each region of the game is based off irl regions of the world, so yes the one place in the beginning is Japanese based We have Mondstadt, which is based off Germanic countries of the world Liyue, which is based off China Inazuma, which is based off Japan Enkanomiya, which is below Inazuma underwater and is based off Greece (and ofc Atlantis) Sumeru, which is based off places in southeast Asia like India as well as the middle east, like Egypt, Persia, etc etc Fontaine, which is based off France and England I believe Natlan, which is said to be based off Spain, and speculated to also have African and Mayan/Aztec inspiration (Not yet a released area) Snezhnaya, which is said to be based off Russia (Not yet a released area) And Khaenri'ah, which is supposedly based off India as well, and perhaps Germanic cultures too given Kaeya's last name and Dainsleif, who are both from Khaenri'ah (Kaeya is a Hindi name, his last name is Alberich which is German, and Dainsleif is also a German name) but there's a lot of speculation about it I'm very excited for everything personally 👏

I am unsure whenever you manually translated title and desciption of this video for different languages with google translate or if it is a youtube feature but it looks absoltely ridiculous in russian. Machine translation thought the word "fan" in the title and the description means "air fan", so it used the word "вентилятор" (a cooling device) instead of "фанат" (someone's admirer). Nahida is the cutest character and also the most tragic of all. A normal character wouldn't handle as much as she did even if she is a god. I recommend you to play this game dude. The characters and the lore are amazing.
btw in Genshin there are kind of no different races it's all a matter of genetics Lyney is a full human but her sister Lynette has cat genes other characters also have animal characteristics like Diona who also has a father with cat ears and that is why this gene was passed on more easily to her Tighnari which is a type of fox that is part of a clan in the desert Gorou who is a shiba where probably one of his parents is human there are also characters that can be considered elves like Klee, Layla, Neuvillette Other than that, there are yokai in Inazuma and divine animals in Liyue as characters

Genshin continues to up their quality as well as make very immersive stories! Watching these really takes me back. I remember when this game came out. It was during the pandemic, and I decided to try it out as I had nothing to really do. At first, it was a little choppy(they've improved the quality since then) but also it was an amazing game! The exploration, the character interactions, the stories, the music- it was just this overall magical feeling, immersive place! And I took a break here and there but for the most part I stayed so invested in it!
It's been three years now and I am so happy seeing how far Genshin has come (Sorry, got into a trip down memory lane there lol)
Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction and just your appreciation of the music. I have had times where I just sit and listen to Genshin's music for hours. There's so many amazing soundtracks . OH I also wanted to let you know that Genshin Impact has actual orchestra concerts. I'd love to see you react to those! When you're in the game, you hear the music all the time,.
But actually seeing it played by a live orchestra and creating all the mesmerizing sounds- it's just magical! Some of their musical pieces have actually made me cry!

Seriously, Neuvillette is one of the--(if not)--the most awesome characters in Genshin Impact. Amazing story, intriguing and important lore, perfect personality, very strong damage in gameplay, unique gameplay. If you told me that he wasn't one of Hoyo's favorite I wouldn't believe you. He's very the first character in Genshin to make me feel some sort of way... and that's saying something to me.
(He's not my most favorite {reserved for Tartaglia and Qiqi}, but he is such an amazing and well-written character, I can not fathom whoever says they hate him. At first, I felt indifferent about him, but HoYo did such an amazing job with his part in the quests, and now I love him so much. {plus, he's a brand new character that was just introduces 2-3 months ago, and he already has so much loyal fans
He's definitely a character that the devs added a lot of flair to. Whenever I think of Fontaine he's the character that pops in my mind the most.
I don’t even like him and even I can admit he is definitely getting special treatment. He has had a cutscene for him walking about and having memories and a few fighting cutscenes whilst the Hydro Archon has had none!

nevilette is actually the worst character in genshin. Its mery sue type which is so boring and uninteresting. You actually cant think of a more stupid character ark in genshin then his. He gets everything on a silver platter when he does nothing to deserve it

October, but it was postponed because a former Prime Minister of China died that Day and the People in China then held a state-wide Funeral Day where everything will be paused, even Entertainment etc which caused the delay.

21:40 To answer the question, which has likely been answered, Lantern Rite is the game’s equivalent to Lunar New Year, it is a game made by a Chinese company after all. With the premise of what it celebrate pretty much being 1 to 1 with the holiday. Also, as a heads up since time-limited event climax cutscenes are heavily tied to the story of the event, some of these tend to go over your head or can feel unfinished as it is bolstered by further dialogue cutscenes. Also due to how the channel handles these, there is no differentiation of these from the story and character story cutscenes they put unto YT, so things will become messy going down that route without someone having made a playlist of specifically the time-limited events to minimize spoilers for the overarching story.

There is also Khaenri´ah which was destroyed by Celestia (the Place where the God resides who rules over that world) which is from what we saw so far inspired by Nordic and Germanic Mythology.
Or the Archons they mention, each Region has a Archon who is a God and represents one of the Ideals suppichan27 mentioned, they have normal, "common" names they also mention in these Trailer (Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, Nahida and Furina) but each of them also has another Name who is directly derived from one of the 72 demons found in the Ars Goetia, one of the books in The Lesser Key of Solomon. Some other Gods they mention in the Game who existed a long Time ago before they fled Teyvat have also their Names derived from the Ars Goetia.
Snezhnaya is cryo and Love.

if you ask me which region is my fave, i'll have to say liyue. maybe it's because my grandma is from mainland china but it just feels like home. it helps that moon in one's cup, which plays in the city, is among my favorite genshin ost. sumeru and fontaine are about the same in my fave list, for the music and environment. monstadt is next, then last is inazuma, because while i love the music i just really dislike the puzzles.
There actually is a zone in here with ephemeral music like you mentioned. Can go back there, but it's such a vibe you really don't want to do anything or progress

They’re having a developer live stream on Friday and that will also bring the following, the version 4.2 trailer, character teaser, demo, and collected miscellany for Furina
the guy at 21:00 is an adepti, one of the gods of liyue which that city is a part of, the lanterns are supposed to represent your wishes for the next year. Think of this as their new year event. A lot of the stuff in the version trailers are only playable during that version so most of them are unplayable now, they will recreate elements of the stuff into later events though.
Oh some things to keep in mind- a good chunk of the events shown are short termed, but several are recurring, but the stories always different. 2 events ALWAYS happen every year- Lantern Rite (game's version of the Chinese New Year) and the Summer event (it involves a whole new, but temporary area). The Summer event is always a bit of a prelude to the next Major Update when the new area drops. Here's examples of what each of the Summer events forshadowed-
1st Summer- It showed off one of the mechanics you'd get introduced to in Inazuma- using a boat. Inazuma is a region of Islands, and initially the only way to get to them is by boat until you unlock fast travel points. FYI, main story wise, you can't get into Inazuma until you complete the 2nd region (Liyue)'s story. You also saw a Samurai there in the trailer, which is Inazuman.
2nd Summer- Story wise it hinted what was to come in Sumeru, plus music plays a role in Sumeru exploration and that was one of themes for the 2nd summer event.
3rd Summer- The area has both story and themes centered around Fontaine. I won't spoil the story part of it because it's connected to Fontaine lore, but Fontaine's theme is steampunk and location was like a circus as you saw in the trailer.
There are other trailers that are connected to both World Quests and Character Story Quests.
To answer your question- sadly there's no parry. You can only dodge.
You asked what's our fav place to explore? Well, I am not surprised by this, but my fav area is Fontaine due to the underwater exploration (there is a story reason why you can only swim underwater there). I've always had a bias for Water levels so this doesn't surprise me. One area I don't like exploring is that icy mountain, Dragonspine. It has a constant chill factor, but there are areas you can use or light up to keep yourself warm. Anyway, here's my ranking of the regions so far based on exploration, and it should be noted I do like all of the regions for one reason or another.
1. Fontaine (love the water exploration, but I love the aesthetic and the puzzles here, I love French culture, which Fontaine is based around)
2. Inazuma (this surprises me since I generally don't like lightning-based areas, but I enjoy the island hoping and other uses of moving around. Sangokomiya island for me is the prettiest location in the game, very dreamlike).
3. Liyue (It feels too big in some areas. Fav areas include Minlin, more specifically, the area with all of the Stoney Peaks, and the Chasm.
4. Mondstadt- It's a good tutorial area and I love Storm Terror's area, but it also has Dragonspine.
5. Sumeru- While my opinion of it has improved over time, it's still to big and complicated to explore at times and I didn't like how certain places and mechanics were locked behind quests. And yeah the ratio of desert to rainforest is not balanced at all (1/4th Rainforest, 3/4ths desert). I still like Sumeru for there are fun parts too it, but it has a big learning curve to it, if you ask me.
@1:05:23- You asked about those types of weapons- those are called Catalyst weapons. They can look like books or orbs. There are different types of weapon users in this game- Polearm (spear), Sword (light sword), Claymore (heavy sword), Bow, and the Catalyst. In general, if you don't see a weapon that doesn't look like the first 4, I mentioned, it's probably a catalyst. They always float around the character and are hand held types. Catalyst users throw magic at other foes basically. Like Yae Miko is a Catalyst user. You saw her using a small baton there. Gameplay wise she'll always be carrying around a catalyst weapon. Sometimes when certain chars use their 'special attacks' their weapon can change appearance. Like Raiden's main weapon is the polearm, but when she uses her special move, it turns into a katana.
Yeah you're timing is pretty good in watching this since Genshin's about to have another update. I don't know if you've been playing close attention, but updates go by numbers. In the first year the game was released you have all of the 1.0 updates. When Inazuma dropped, it started the 2.0 updates. Sumeru had 3.0 updates, and now with Fontaine, we've started the 4.0 updates. The next update is 4.2 update, which is USUALLY when the last chapters of the latest Archon (Main story) quest drops.
Btw, you mentioned Kingdom Hearts at one point, I assume you know who the Master of Masters is? Well his VA is the same VA for Neuvillette lol. Talk about range lol.

Nah Dragonspine is the prettiest area that has a cool and engaging mechanic. The desert is absolutely amazing too
Lantern rite is equivalent to lunar new year. People release lanterns scribbled with their well wishes :) it’s supposed to be auspicious. This event occurs without fail every year around february. In China, I believe they spend around 15 days celebrating it. :D in the patch that falls on these days, most likely liyue characters will be rated up in the gacha pool.
The islands that you see, is actually an event location. It comes sometimes before a new version. It’s cool because we are invited to the islands by Alice, who is Klee’s mum. She’s never around but she likes to invite her daughter and her daughter’s friends to new places (limited time) places. She’s one of the Hexenzirkel witches. She’s able to modify the islands every single time we get invited there. :D

These are literal expansions, some of them add whole chunks of explorable regions, so yes, you can visit those places (then only exceptions are the golden archipelago and the other summer event)
What you won't be able to enjoy again is the event story
Each region of the game is based off irl regions of the world, so yes the one place in the beginning is Japanese based
We have Mondstadt, which is based off Germanic countries of the world
Liyue, which is based off China
Inazuma, which is based off Japan
Enkanomiya, which is below Inazuma underwater and is based off Greece (and ofc Atlantis)
Sumeru, which is based off places in southeast Asia like India as well as the middle east, like Egypt, Persia, etc etc
Fontaine, which is based off France and England I believe
Natlan, which is said to be based off Spain, and speculated to also have African and Mayan/Aztec inspiration (Not yet a released area)
Snezhnaya, which is said to be based off Russia (Not yet a released area)
And Khaenri'ah, which is supposedly based off India as well, and perhaps Germanic cultures too given Kaeya's last name and Dainsleif, who are both from Khaenri'ah (Kaeya is a Hindi name, his last name is Alberich which is German, and Dainsleif is also a German name) but there's a lot of speculation about it

I am unsure whenever you manually translated title and desciption of this video for different languages with google translate or if it is a youtube feature but it looks absoltely ridiculous in russian. Machine translation thought the word "fan" in the title and the description means "air fan", so it used the word "вентилятор" (a cooling device) instead of "фанат" (someone's admirer). When I read the title it took me like 20 seconds to understand what's happening.

Nahida is the cutest character and also the most tragic of all. A normal character wouldn't handle as much as she did even if she is a god. I recommend you to play this game dude. The characters and the lore are amazing.

Lyney is a full human but her sister Lynette has cat genes
other characters also have animal characteristics like Diona who also has a father with cat ears and that is why this gene was passed on more easily to her
Tighnari which is a type of fox that is part of a clan in the desert
Gorou who is a shiba where probably one of his parents is human
there are also characters that can be considered elves like Klee, Layla, Neuvillette
Other than that, there are yokai in Inazuma and divine animals in Liyue as characters
