Creating the vocoder effect in Digital Performer

Thanks very much. This is one of the best tutorials on any subject that I have seen. You say "First you do this, then you do this, then you do that, etc." Without a lot of side stories that just waste time, ums and uhs, trying to remember what to do next, etc, Very clear and direct. Using busses, I have set up midi tracks and audio tracks into the TAL, which is what I was trying to do. THANKS!

Thanks for this... I've been stumped about vocoding DP for too long. Got all set up and functioning with your clear set-up advise.Since your were live performance oriented in this vid you never recorded the line. I recorded in DP 9.1 heard the effect while recording ..see the Midi data but in playback it doesn't activate the Tal and get to the aux track so the result is just Midi data showing in DP mixer with nothing reading in the aux track...therefore no vocoder in track. What am I missing? Hopefully you still read posts.if not maybe someone can help me along..Thanks
