I'm so glad Bruce beat the lymphoma diagnosis twice and continues to thrive and be a daily blessing. My wife and I adopted two kittens in 2015 who had come from an abusive situation. Once we got them home, they adjusted to life with us beautifully. Enzo, a Lynx Point Tabby, is still with us. His brother, Matteo, a tuxedo just like Bruce, contracted lymphoma in November 2018, and despite all our efforts working with an oncoloist, we had to put him to sleep several weeks later. It broke our hearts, but we are grateful for the time we had with him. On our last night together, he slept in the crook of my arm, comforting me as much as I was comforting him. I’m sorry for your loss. We just had to put down my beautiful Clara on Tuesday. She was 15.5 and had hyperthyroidism, kidney failure, high blood pressure, and Monday she lost her eyesight. I miss her so much! I’ve been making sure to spend extra time with my other cat, Sophie, who is 14.
It breaks my heart that he has cancer. I've lost so many loved ones to it-it's a brutal disease that I don't wish on anyone or any animal. I hope he can stay in remission this time.

I am deeply appreciative of the care you have given Bruce. Last Week, my SO and I noticed our older cat, who has Stage 2 Kidney disease among other things, kept laying down in front of us, we knew something was wrong because he is very protective of his long luscious tail and so we made an appointment with the vet. When we got into a room, we knew he was really sick because he let them do anything they wanted, he usually attacks vets and needs sedation with Neurontin. He actually tried to follow the vet tech out of the room as if to say, "Wait, don't forget me, I am sick. Let me go where all the helpers are." The vet diagnosed nephritis and possible pancreatitis. He actually had lost 2 pounds since March. We got his meds and he has been getting better. Went to the vet today and he has gained 6oz in just a few days. We were thrilled. Starvation is what usually kills cats with kidney disease. We have decided to start treating him much more than we have with quality of life in mind. He is 17yo and we aren't blind. We love him to pieces. BTW the vet was stunned with how we "diagnosed" his illness. He knew he was sick and he made sure that we saw it, too. Cats are great companions and as much as I love dogs, I am a proud childless Cat Man.

I know how expensive Cancer treatment is. Thank you for sticking with him and providing care. Fortuntely, our little girl got extra months of a better life that we enjoyed together, but finally cancer was the strongest, and she sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. We were reduced to 2 cats in the house, but we soon decided to adopt a neighborhood feral. No one can have too many cats, right? At least we try not to!
I still feel bad that I was not financially able to take care of my previous fur kid when I had to let him go when he had liver failure, liver cancer, and a whole host of ailments when he passed away at the age of 16 years old. Was I a bad pet parent to be on disability myself and trying to take care of a kitty that helped me out with my issues in my life?
@@paxhumana2015 *Hugs*. I’m sorry for your loss. You weren’t a bad pet parent anymore than we were for not realizing just how important thyroid medication is. We had a couple of gaps when we didn’t get my Clara’s medication refilled, not realizing just how serious hyperthyroidism is if not well-managed. We had to put my girl down on Tuesday at 15.5 years old because she also had kidney failure and high blood pressure, and she lost her eyesight on Monday. We didn’t want her to suffer anymore. Our kitties were in the middle of the average lifespan of a housecat and while we have guilt over not doing more, they knew we tried our best. We gave them long, happy lives and they loved us no matter what.
I rescued 5 lol we have 8 total. Never too many. There are at least another 3 cats I see daily that are stray or feral that I’d love to take in also… but since I started making all their food myself it’s gotten a bit pricey. On the bright side since I stopped feeding dry food a lot of the issues I was having with puking and diarrhea are gone besides a hairball here and there and they have so much more energy. It’s worth it and the excitement they have while I’m cooking for them is the best, they know it’s for them lol
@@paxhumana2015 My Pixie passed away at 19 back in June of 2020. I had been laid off since a few months before. There had been some signs leading up to that that got overlooked, or I failed to prioritize. I put blame upon myself, though also know with hindsight, that at the time there wasn't as much I could do as I'd have wanted to in an ideal world. It's not an ideal world and I am resolute in remembering the many many good times with her rather than the worst time.
Cats can be angels, they can also be little devils! I currently have 2 litters of kittens in my house. 1 litter of 8 weeks and 1 of 12 weeks. Have you seen what a kitten can do to a roll of toilet paper? Try sitting at the computer while a half dozen kittens are scampering across your keyboard, up onto your shoulder, and then on top of your head! Each taking it's turn at trying to take a sip of your coffee! But, I love them all.
Honestly, this lady is his real mama... I get how adopted animals are our babies but this lady saved him as a tiny kitten and continues to do so. If that's not a mama, I don't what is ! Thank you for sharing this story. Hope Brucie lives a long and healthy life with his family. 💜
I rescued a 5-week-old little guy in Okinawa in 1994 when I was in the USAF. Neko soon developed a urinary issue that became diabetes. We had 16 years together & he was the best mouser ever.
Aww, a cat that's chatty is a special feline for sure, and nothing beats having a conversation with them. Thank you for saving Bruce and sharing your story with us. 🐈⬛💖💝
He is wonderful. Every day you have together is a gift. I lost my cat to cancer and its not nice. The same time I lost my family and then my partner. I did everything I could for her. Bathed her like a baby, hot water bottles and hand fed her a little food. Cleaned her because she couldn't keep anything down. Life left me her son and a wonderful little stray girl who are with me now. It is worth all that love so enjoy it while it's there for you and thank you for your love for animals.
I have a step sister of Bruce, she found me in Iowa...not sure who the mom traveled so far but here she is. She found me when I was out for a walk 4 years ago, must have been under 4 weeks of age at the time. She thinks I am her momma, and is beyond one of the sweetest cats I have ever seen.
I had a tuxedo boy that I rescued at 1.5 years. Bear lived with me until he was diagnoses with multiple myeloma and had about 6 months to live. Feed him what he wants and love him. He lived a year long. That was 21 years ago and I still miss him. Enjoy Bruce for however long God decides to keep you together. Love and prayers.

At 3:45 in the video, it sounds like Bruce is trying to mymic the words "Good morning." It could be just me... but that was a way the meow is broken up into the appropriate number of syllables. Wow!!!
We rescued our beautiful ginger and white cat Mac from a farm at 5 weeks of age. He was the last kitten to survive in the litter as crows had taken all of his siblings! He was the biggest, most beautiful boy, and he loved my son so much. When my son grew up and left home, Mac moved with him. They had a magical bond. Then Mac developed an aggressive, rare connective tissue cancer aged 11 years. This same cancer had taken my little Jack Russell's life too, at 12, shortly before Mac was diagnosed. Vets believe they were both exposed to chemicals. We lived adjacent to a huge farm that sprayed chemicals regularly. My son luckily could do a course of chemotherapy for Mac, but it only gave us three months longer with this beautiful, unique soul. But we were thankful for the extra time. I hope that Bruce continues to do well and lives a long, healthy, pain-free life. He is an amazing personality 💖 Thank you for sharing 🥰
@@Binx345me I sign every petition to ban glysophate/Roundup that I can. Europe is doing a much better job at fighting it in courts than we are in NA. All the group's taking it to court in NA are volunteer run and need money for lawyers. It's a real David vs Goliath battle, but with much further reaching effects if we lose. Sending good thoughts to you and Bruce that he continues to stay healthy and live his best life. Bruce is obviously a fighter. He is gorgeous and so very sweet. Bruce you can beat this. Your wonderful Mommy loves you so much. What a terrific video.
What a wonderful little boy. I loved that he was leash trained. My first cat was also trained to a leash; 😊I had a wooded area behind my duplex that led to a field and we would make that an adventure. I ‘d tell him if he wanted to go to the woods he had to wear his harness. Thus there was never a problem. He was an absolute treat, beautiful little Simon Merriweather; don’t we always love our little balls of fur.
This is a beautiful story. I hope she and Bruce have many more years together. My late cat-daughter Babette, died of cancer at 17. Best cat EVER, and I still miss her. She too was leash trained, and went everywhere with us, was a mix of cat/human/dog. We also trained her to love her kennel, put her favorite blanket and toys in it. Left it open at home 24/7 so she could go in and out of it as she chose. That way, when we were ready to drive or fly anywhere, she'd go in, we'd close the door, and she was content regardless. It was her cozy safe place. A very wise vet told us to train her this way, and it was advice worth gold. It allowed us to include her in everything. My 2nd new love, Babette, a Siamese mix, is 5 1/2 now, and is a completely different cat-daughter. Stubborn and sweet, refuses the kennel and leash, but I haven't given up! Our fur babies are worth our devotion, and they give us the same in return. I have to say, my late girl, Sox, and my girl Babette, are better than most humans. I'd do anything for them. As for humans? I'm extremely careful.

I have 8 rescues, have always rescued. Each one is special
I hope Bruce lives a very long life with you. I wish you both lots of healthy and loving adventures/memories together. 🙏❤️🙏❤️
👍🌹
Cats are angels with whiskers 😻. Thank you for helping him ❤
My grandma always told me and believed that cats were Angels 😇. She said she saw and felt them all around her while she was growing up
All our pets are angels! They do more for us than we could ever do for them! 🕊🙏❤️🙏🕊
@@tracybucher6236 It is true!! ❤❤❤❤
@@silver21lady 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️😻
Thank you for fostering both kittens and them giving Bruce a great life ❤.
Keep the faith momma, prayers for him.
Bruce is a perfect baby. Those two are SOOOO lucky to have found each other!!
This cat has decided to live for you. Blessings for having a loving heart for him.
I lost my boy a few days before his 8th birthday. I think about him all the time. He looked right into my soul❤️
❤ .
Beautiful young woman... kindness is her middle name.
Honestly, this lady is his real mama... I get how adopted animals are our babies but this lady saved him as a tiny kitten and continues to do so. If that's not a mama, I don't what is ! Thank you for sharing this story. Hope Brucie lives a long and healthy life with his family. 💜
❤️
I rescued a 5-week-old little guy in Okinawa in 1994 when I was in the USAF. Neko soon developed a urinary issue that became diabetes. We had 16 years together & he was the best mouser ever.
Aww, a cat that's chatty is a special feline for sure, and nothing beats having a conversation with them. Thank you for saving Bruce and sharing your story with us. 🐈⬛💖💝
Thank you for rescuing Bruce❤❤❤
He is wonderful. Every day you have together is a gift. I lost my cat to cancer and its not nice. The same time I lost my family and then my partner. I did everything I could for her. Bathed her like a baby, hot water bottles and hand fed her a little food. Cleaned her because she couldn't keep anything down. Life left me her son and a wonderful little stray girl who are with me now. It is worth all that love so enjoy it while it's there for you and thank you for your love for animals.
Two good souls
I feel you sister, I will keep your baby in my prayers, I Lost My baby just about 3 years ago and I cry every single day.❤
"I can laugh and you can be in trouble at the same time". Perfect words for something I've done a thousand times. Long Live The Bruce!
Love and prayers.
there is no god and idk why there is in almost every video a god comment. are they bots or something?
@@ferrisargylesanthats what they believe in their religion is Christian so he believes in god like i believe in god
@AstolfoSenpai it's called "religious people exist"
@@ferrisargylesan If they aren't speaking directly to you they aren't hurting you. Let them speak as they wish. I'm not a god person either. It's also ok not to care what they believe.
@@ferrisargylesan I'm not religious in the least, but your comment is very disrespectful. Let them pray and have faith in what they believe. They aren't doing you any harm
I remember when one of our babies was diagnoses with a major heart issue. We refused to give up on him. We went through various treatments and we had another wonderful six months with him. One day he could no longer keep going. It was the most difficult day of my life to-date. I have never cried so hard for so long. I still cry over him and our other gorgeous kitty babies that we lost. Thank you for fighting for Bruce. Every ounce of energy and love you have for him means another moment of light, love, and life that Bruce gives back. It's all worth it.
He found his soul mate and the perfect human for him. God bless you both.
Prayers for healing. What a beautiful and special kitty. ❤️🙏🏼✝️🐈
Amen❤🐈❤️

I remember the cats of stalida and Herakleion when I was in Crete 🙏
What kind of sicko leaves a Kitten in a dumpster?@@grantrennie
@@graygarrison3114 Oh yes, but let's all remember the angel that rescued him, and is now loving him, and fighting for his life 🙏❤️😺
@@donnabaardsen5372 I think that this Kitten is an angel too in a way since of how sweet super cute and ridiculously silly They are and definitely the same thing with Puppies.
I enjoy this video very much then. May God bless your family then
I heard him clearly say Good Morning back to you! He is adorable. Pray he heals completely very soon.
Such a beautiful boy. Very vocal he knows what you have done for him You are his person. Thank God for people like you ❤❤
May GOD BLESS BOTH Of YOU 🙏🙏🙏
What an amazing story. I'm so glad that he made it through ❤. He is so sweet and cute. Hi Bruce 👋😊💕💕
Sending continued prayers for Bruce's wellbeing!🙏🙏🙏
Yeah, that'll help.
@@unscentednapalm8547 Well it certainly can't hurt. You, on the other hand, certainly DO hurt morale in the comments.
Thanks a bunch for your unnecessary and un-called for nastiness, Debby Downer.
We get it; you hate God. Keep it to yourself. No one cares.
Hmm, I thought that message was written by me as you use the same profile picture as me
@@Tonicwine999 How about that!😸
@@AnimalisMD haha crazy. I’ve had this profile pic for like 10 years now.
Finding a pet in need is considered a gift from heaven.
A better gift is that animal abuse be taken very seriously. When cops do nto respond to animal abuse, they are also animal abusers.
His messy tail matches his playful baby face so well I love it
What a an overwhelming story I really hope he will live very long with you he is such a cuttie and you are so good for him.
Thank you for being such a great mom to Bruce.
I hope he lives a long happy healthy life. Thank you for rescuing him. 🐈
A really beautiful story. Let just hope it goes on for a long time.
I fostered a little tiny Siberian Hamster found in the dumpster behind a store. He was a wonderful pet and I will never forget him.
Tuxedo cats really bond to their owners, hope he keeps on being in remission after second time with cancer, great that nowadays there are options for pets with cancer and not just put to sleep.
At 3:45 in the video, it sounds like Bruce is trying to mymic the words "Good morning." It could be just me... but that was a way the meow is broken up into the appropriate number of syllables. Wow!!!
I heard it too!
I hear it too! 3:40
He is clearly saying, "Good morning!"
He is an amazing personality 💖 Thank you for sharing 🥰
chemicals like that should be illegal!
This damn Monsanto/Bayer chemical is killing masses of bees too. One bee yard owner found 500,000 dead bees recently.
@@Binx345me couldn't agree more with you on this 😔
What a legendary cat.
Thank you for sharing.
Wishing you the best.
Everyday he is alive is a gift you helped give him. In this world all we can do is make each one count. When the day comes that he is called home, remember you made him feel loved, and he knows that and will be waiting to see you again.
Bruce is the very lucky boy , God heard him cry and send him an angel, he loved his Angel like she did to him , he will fight anything to be with his beautiful Angel. All the best to you and handsome Bruce. ❤
💞✨💞
Fingers and toes crossed for this special little guy and for you, too!! Keep us posted, please.
You really do have a special relationship. Bruce is adorable and deserves all the love you are giving him. He obviously adores you too. Thank you for sharing his story. ❤❤
I sure hope Bruce lives a long and prosperous life. He beat the sickness with yours and the help of medicine. The doctors and staff helped him win the last two battles. The love for his life is beautiful. Thank you.
You are an angel. Not giving up on Bruce is so brave and unselfish. I recently found an abandoned new born kit at my church. Umbilical cooked still attached. I tried feeding every 2 hours. Unfortunately, I lost the little guy within 24 hours. Good for you for saving Bruce's life!
Here's to Bruce. May he live long.
Bruce, the pet black & white cat finally overcame hard times in its medical conditions so oddly. He manages to stay healthier and well to live longer. He’s happy to be active now.😺😻
Great news! Go Bruce!!
Praying Bruce lives a long happy life with you. ❤
This lady and Bruce are so special.
This cat will be fine, he has the best fur mama ever 😊
Thank you! ❤
How fortunate to having had an oncologist that came to help right away. Bless all who helped kitty have a better life with loving care and protection. ❤
I had to wait weeks, she died before being seen by any oncologist.
Sending good thoughts to you and Bruce that he continues to stay healthy and live his best life. Bruce is obviously a fighter. He is gorgeous and so very sweet. Bruce you can beat this. Your wonderful Mommy loves you so much. What a terrific video.
Beautiful rescue. Thanks all animal rescuers for being the angels you are
Prayers for Bruce. Thanks for not giving up on him. You two belong together. ❤
What great little companion. Wishing the best for the little guy.
That's a good kitty mom
Bruce is so adorable and the bond between him and mum is so special ❤
What a beautiful boy, he’s very special. I really do hope that he recovers and is your companion for a long time. Bless you both.
What a beautiful little soul, never give up on him!
We nearly lost our Foggy this past month diagnosed with pyothorax. After 12 days in ICU she pulled thru and is nearly fully recovered 6 weeks later. May your Bruce never relapse and live a long and healthy life.
I lost one of my beloved Tigers to the big C so i am very glad that you dont have to go thru all this and that Bruce is ok. I wish you many happy years together with him.
Was tough to hold back tears here. Bruce is a fighter; just like our boy Theo. We had to go through other sources for treatment (I e. FB) and while we paid out of pocket for the treatment, Theo recovered miraculously as well. Thank you very much for saving Bruce, and I hope he lives a long happy life with his momma!
Beautiful story. Beautiful comments.
Que hermoso gatito, y está bien gordito y bien consentido. Y habla 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
He’s sooo beautiful and has such a nice personality
That good morning meow got me😊 what a cutie
I love geobeats because it’s nice to see there are people just like me when with their fur babies. Hope Bruce stays well and in remission.
I’m so glad you two found one another. I pray you have many many many happy years together.
I love his 'quack.' He looks so silky. Good job cat mom.
THE REASON WHY HE'S DOING GREAT IS BC HE HAS THIS INCREDIBLE WOMAN BY HIS SIDE!! HOW LUCKY TO BE RESCUED BY THE MOST LOVING, COMPASSIONATE YOUNG WOMAN!! THEY ARE MEANT FOR EACHOTHER, NO I TAKE THAT BACK~ THEY WERE **MADE** FOR EACHOTHER!!! I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!!! 👏👏🐾🐾♥️♥️🥰🥰🐈⬛️🐈⬛️😭😭
