I was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago, and I fell into this vicious cycle of self-deprecation, weight gain, and depression. I discovered this channel two months ago after spending a long time searching for exercises that could help alleviate my symptoms. At first, seeing any change was difficult. But little by little, I noticed that my hips (which were non-existent before) have become incredibly defined, and I could easily see in the mirror that I was losing inches. Now, I can proudly say that I’ve lost 7 kilos. You can’t imagine how much this channel has changed my life. Thank you so much, Jo. I did a lot of 'walk the weight off' videos, plus some weighted workouts she has on the channel (2 kg dumbbells are good enough). This one will be one of my go-tos as it seems pretty good for whenever you're feeling too tired due to your condition. The best thing about Jo's workouts is that they're mostly low-impact or adaptable, so I suggest you go with the ones you feel most comfortable with. When I feel like one exercise is too much for me at the time, I just walk along. I would also recommend not being too harsh on yourself. This is a serious condition, difficult for both your body and your mental health. Take care of yourself; do not punish yourself if you're feeling too exhausted to exercise or if you sometimes eat things you truly enjoy. My last tip would be to try your best not to weigh yourself every single week, as it will always vary with your water consumption, your periods, etc. If you want to keep track of your progress, try taking pictures instead and check your weight once a month. Hope this helps. I'm not a professional, but I know how confusing and hard it is to find accurate information that doesn’t blame your habits. Good luck, take care. ♡

I just did this workout for the first time and before I did the workout I felt lonely and insecure. After this workout I feel amazing like I could look in the mirror and go “wow, you just did that yo should feel proud of yourself”. From seeing her sweat and smile and maybe stumble a couple times made me feel so relatable and comfortable doing this workout. Thank you jo! ❤
It happens. Just focus on being healthy and gaining muscle. That's what's most important. Measure yourself instead of weighing yourself. It's likely you are losing inches and not weight. If nothing helps, get checked for insulin resistance. I couldn't lose weight and found out I was insulin resistant.
@@aysenurershaban5618 It will happen. Stay consistent with your movement and change one dietary thing a month. You'll start noticing your clothes fitting differently.
I watched a video about how seed/vegetable oils change your fat cells and make them hard to lose. Use only, and I do mean only, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil. The rest are chemical laden garbage that have a half life of 2+ years. That means the poison lasts that long. It's disgusting. IF and mct oil/powder has helped me lose over 10 lbs in 5 weeks. Dr. Gundry explains it all. Polyphenols and mct tell your body to let go of excess fat.
I've stagnated too, though I'm absolutely certain it's choice-based for me. The one thing I've made sure about is to almost never skip a workout though. Weight barely changes, measurements not at all, but clothes fit better. It's all a part of the process. And I'm smaller around than our biggest pumpkin, so that's a perk, lol.

I have to thank Jo for changing my life I weighed 86 kg at my highest and ever since i was a child I have been overweight but doing growwithjo workouts inspired me to move little by little I started eating a bit healthier and right now I have 68 kg it’s still not my goal weight but she has helped me so much losing weight has made me so much more energetic healthier and I look and feel better so whoever feels like they are not seeing progress just continue doing it and trust me you will see it

Hi, I have been doing some workout of Jo. I'm 49 yrs old, I don't do this every day but 2 or 3 times per week. I would love to do more but still building up to it. When I was young I used to make such high goals like "do this workout every day" but couldn"t keep my word and would feel very bad abort myself for not being able to keep it. Now my goal is different. Anything I do for workout is better than nothing!! Today was one of those days which I felt I can't do anything but I followed this workout and now I am sweating and feel good about mysrlf. Jo has work out in so mant levels that there are always something you can do. Such a positieve vibe. No talking during the workout is great as well and you can see still Jo giving insructions. I never comment on TH-cam but I really feel greatful for all ahe has done. If you are readimg this, stop looking at the comments, just not think and do it. You will feel much more better!!!

34+5 weeks pregnant with my second baby and moving without hip or pelvic pain is a challenge, so grateful for those low impact workouts. At this point it’s no longer about performance or weight loss as it’s been before it’s more about staying active while waiting for baby to come out.

In the beginning of 2022, I found your channel. From January to September, I followed your workouts and lost 45 LBS and felt absolutely AMAZING about myself! Long story short, I was going through a lot mentally and completely fell off. I have now put on those 45 LBS and then some. I am just now starting to feel a little bit of motivation and this workout was incredible. i gave birth to my second son in july at 274lbs, so i am 3 months postpartum and have let go of 32lbs just from eating healthy and now i am 243, i’ve started working out this week and have completed 3 days so far! i want this to be a consistent weekly habit of mine doing the recommended 150 minutes a week of exercise, i'm so excited to reach my goal weight of 225 which will be 50lbs, then honestly i’d love to be 170lbs, i know i can do it, i pray for the willpower to stay committed to these beautiful habits of eating well & exercising for good health and wellness for my body, mind and soul! my body already feels stronger

I woke up today and was like Lord I do not want to workout! Then literally went on youtube and this was the first thing that came up! It was so much fun and I def worked up a sweat! I was really into the dance ones but I seem to have irritated or injured one of my butt muscles (got carried away having too much fun apparently) so I have taken a break from those more fast paced workouts. The workouts like this one, where there are no squats or jumps really help me stay on track. Then I can still get my awesome mood boost for the day. I found your channel at a time where I was ready to give up because I was having a hard time staying motivated and was getting really bored doing the same videos every day. I have to say that you really have a fun variety of workouts and most importantly you seem to be ENJOYING what you're doing - most instructors seem to be going through the motions, and it was really hard to stay excited during a workout. I FINALLY found something I like to do. I love your dance/walking workouts, they are so fun! I have been consistent for a month now and am finally seeing some results and feeling improvements in my joints.

Decide to start back working out i’ve been off the wagon for about month. Starting today I am on a 25 day reset before my next event and so I knew I been wanting to try this workout and glad I did I’ve sent it to my besties and posted it so others can do. I loved this video! I struggle with GERD and the majority of workouts are an issue with that. But this workout gave me a full body workout, caused me to sweat and burn and worked the core without even slightly touching the GERD. I am thankful. It was really fun too. The music got me going this morning.

I watched a video about how seed/vegetable oils change your fat cells and make them hard to lose. Use only, and I do mean only, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil. The rest are chemical laden garbage that have a half life of 2+ years. That means the poison lasts that long. It's disgusting. IF and mct oil/powder has helped me lose over 10 lbs in 5 weeks. Dr. Gundry explains it all. Polyphenols and mct tell your body to let go of excess fat.
I've stagnated too, though I'm absolutely certain it's choice-based for me. The one thing I've made sure about is to almost never skip a workout though. Weight barely changes, measurements not at all, but clothes fit better. It's all a part of the process. And I'm smaller around than our biggest pumpkin, so that's a perk, lol.

I have to thank Jo for changing my life I weighed 86 kg at my highest and ever since i was a child I have been overweight but doing growwithjo workouts inspired me to move little by little I started eating a bit healthier and right now I have 68 kg it’s still not my goal weight but she has helped me so much losing weight has made me so much more energetic healthier and I look and feel better so whoever feels like they are not seeing progress just continue doing it and trust me you will see it

Hi, I have been doing some workout of Jo. I'm 49 yrs old, I don't do this every day but 2 or 3 times per week. I would love to do more but still building up to it. When I was young I used to make such high goals like "do this workout every day" but couldn"t keep my word and would feel very bad abort myself for not being able to keep it. Now my goal is different. Anything I do for workout is better than nothing!! Today was one of those days which I felt I can't do anything but I followed this workout and now I am sweating and feel good about mysrlf. Jo has work out in so mant levels that there are always something you can do. Such a positieve vibe. No talking during the workout is great as well and you can see still Jo giving insructions. I never comment on TH-cam but I really feel greatful for all ahe has done. If you are readimg this, stop looking at the comments, just not think and do it. You will feel much more better!!!

34+5 weeks pregnant with my second baby and moving without hip or pelvic pain is a challenge, so grateful for those low impact workouts. At this point it’s no longer about performance or weight loss as it’s been before it’s more about staying active while waiting for baby to come out.

I missed a couple of days last week because I was dealing with one of my pets having surgery. (He's doing great now, but he's a handful with that cone on.) i gave birth to my second son in july at 274lbs, so i am 3 months postpartum and have let go of 32lbs just from eating healthy and now i am 243, i’ve started working out this week and have completed 3 days so far! i want this to be a consistent weekly habit of mine doing the recommended 150 minutes a week of exercise, i'm so excited to reach my goal weight of 225 which will be 50lbs, then honestly i’d love to be 170lbs, i know i can do it, i pray for the willpower to stay committed to these beautiful habits of eating well & exercising for good health and wellness for my body, mind and soul! my body already feels stronger

I was really into the dance ones but I seem to have irritated or injured one of my butt muscles (got carried away having too much fun apparently) so I have taken a break from those more fast paced workouts. The workouts like this one, where there are no squats or jumps really help me stay on track. Then I can still get my awesome mood boost for the day. I found your channel at a time where I was ready to give up because I was having a hard time staying motivated and was getting really bored doing the same videos every day. I have to say that you really have a fun variety of workouts and most importantly you seem to be ENJOYING what you're doing - most instructors seem to be going through the motions, and it was really hard to stay excited during a workout. I FINALLY found something I like to do. I love your dance/walking workouts, they are so fun! I have been consistent for a month now and am finally seeing some results and feeling improvements in my joints.

I loved this video! I struggle with GERD and the majority of workouts are an issue with that. But this workout gave me a full body workout, caused me to sweat and burn and worked the core without even slightly touching the GERD. I am thankful. It was really fun too. The music got me going this morning.
