- Riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route has been a dream of mine for almost 10 years now. After 5 years of telling myself that "next year" was going to be the year I lined up in Banff I finally made it a reality in 2023. While I didn't make it all the way to Antelope Wells I had an incredible experience and learned so much about myself.
Awesome video 💪
Pretty dope! hoping to see more of your ride on Moots. Good luck!
Hey Justin, that sidewall repair was epic no-quit attitude. We crossed paths maybe at Bolton, I was in the stainless Otso. See you on the 14th.
This is one of my favourite divide videos I've come across, thanks for sharing!
thanks! I appreciate it.
It was great to meet you in Banff and repeatedly cross paths with you during the ride. Sewing that sidewall and getting tubeless back remains the greatest on-trail repair job I've ever seen.
Ah, thanks Mark... it was great to meet you too.
Chapeau great video.
Great vid and what a gorgeous bike!
Awesome that you got to do this. I'm looking to do it in 2025. (Editor note, pause music when talking to camera.) Thanks sharing!
Гарна пригода. І дуже гарний велосипед.
Велике спасибі
Yeah, Wyoming was the toughest stretch, though there is one in new mexico that almost killed me. I crashed on Union pass and almost packed it in at Pinedale as well. Give me the climbs in Canada and Montana over the mud and wind in Wyoming any day.
Lots of humbling features on GDMBR, that's for sure.
Yeeewwwww
Awesome video! Curious to know your gopro setup; handlebar mount, extension pole?? . Rolling the TD in '24 and l looking to capture media as you did! Thanks for any advice!
Thanks! Just a GoPro hero 9 with a mouth mount and keeping it accessible with one hand.
How did you and your equipment get to Canada? Cool video
Thanks! I flew into Calgary in my riding kit two days before the start of the race. I put the bike in a cardboard box and it travels on most airlines just like checked luggage.
