Can`t wait to see NCR Elite Rangers with the most dope Armor in Season 2 " hopefully " at the Hoover Damn. Todd howard knows, that the NCR and BOS are the most favorite Factions. And letting the NCR basically our faction from fallout 1 die, would be a slap in the face.
Wiping out the NCR would be a big misreading of the fandom from Bethesda, while many criticise it I don't think anyone wants to truly see it gone, anyone aside legion fanboys ofc. Even if Shady fell i think most of the NCR is still out there, the republic won't let go that easily. For the republic, for the NCR, New California Dreamin'!
Are there any actual NCR troopers in the fight scene? Like service rifle wielding brown fatigues and bulletproof chest plate and all? It feels like they skimped out a bit for the NCR, hell, Moldovar or whatever her name is used raiders to break into the vault instead of an actual strike team. The one of the main reasons the NCR was so powerful was because of the manpower, I guess that’s gone though😢 remember shady sands.
Vault city, New Reno LA outskirts, all were said to be NCR hubs, shady sands was simply one city. They definitely need to remedy how powerful their shown. The NCR had 1000s of soldiers at their disposal Not to mention supply lines that manufactured the service rifles armor and all how you said
I have a head canon. What if the NCR we see in the show are just shady sands residents that stayed behind to mourn their lost home, while the majority of the NCR moved on from the nuking, they stayed. that could explain why they had so little manpower, and could explain why a lot of the fighters weren't wearing the trooper armor.
My headcanon theory at the moment is that when Shady Sands got nuked, the NCR Given the NCR and Brotherhood were already in a 20+ year war, seeing Shady Sands get suddenly nuked meant the latter were able to immediately capitalise on the disorganisation set into the NCR ranks. Combine that with the Brotherhood then getting a boon from their East Coast counterparts in the form of an airship & vertibirds (which if you believe FO2 they had the schematics to build / repair) and you have an NCR that has slowly been eaten away from within. It's not a stretch to guess that while they aren't gone, places like the Hub, New Reno and Vault City are either going to be in bad shape or holed up given they've been on the bad end of a war for 10+ years. I suspect that Muldaver was forced to recruit mercenaries for her raid on Vault 31 which is why they act more like raiders than NCR troops. And the forces we see at the Boneyard are more like a guerilla force left in that area. So the NCR isn't gone, but they're currently on the backfoot after years of attrition and several crippling blows while their opponents have only got stronger. With Vegas. I think either way the lack of NCR tourism will have hit the economy. Wouldn't be surprised if independent Vegas (whether that is under House or the Courier) ends up being the "canon" ending OR, alternatively, they leave it unclear but have House reappear in the form of aAI as contingency. I think they did make a significant continuity snafu with Shady Sands looking as though it was meant to be in LA. This is something the writers can tidy up however in Season 2. Same for the timeline. Hopefully in S2 we see more of the NCR, as well as nods to other groups in the series like the Khans, Followers and Legion etc.
I hate that they turn the NCR into just another raider faction from what they are wearing and not the uniforms that they should be wearing. the Fallout TV show shows that not enough people played the games on the wrighting staff in my opinion. But the Vault girl that I don't remember the name of at this moment did and it shows very well. another gripe I have is the ghouls just having a healing factor and not needing radiation like they do in every single game of fallout. but back to the NCR they fought the brotherhood of steal before the should know were to aim in the first place and have AP rounds. (P.S. the edit is good thoe so keep up the good work)
I'll be honest I expected a little more of a battle scene between the NCR and Brotherhood in the last episode but it's fine, really. It captured the esthetics of the Fallout world itself.
You can definitely see some battle tactics by the unarmored troops using the power-armored soldiers at a riot shield of shorts which is fucking cool as hell but I assume why they kinda just rushed in there was because of how weak the NCR was and they thought it would have been wipe for the ncr which it was just the ghoul caused a few more casualties than expected
@@ElderMaxon147Reminds me of real world battle tactics in which soldiers trying to storm a heavily defended position would get behind tanks and use them for cover

I love how incompetent the BoS looks in that scene, maximus handled his power armor better than the knights, like god damn it, BoS knights just run straight at the ennemy like a bunch of dumbasses, in melee, where uts easier to hit the power armor weak points, only actual threat should be heavy weapons and explosives. Power Armor needs to be handled the same as a tank, why do tanks really really hate urban environments ? Because their weak points are more easily hit and accesible. Eitheir : 1 : The Brotherhood doesnt know how to use power armor and the knights are poorly trained Or 2 : This is just to try and make it look like "See the NCR is actually pretty strong", no they arent. Without the writers making the knights a bunch of clowns the NCR militia would have been crushed.
the Ghoul does state that the brotherhood training isnt what it use to be, i think they are all about numbers now a growing their presence in the show or atleast thats how it comes off to me
The Rangers of the NCR patrolled the Mojave solo. They can handle the brotherhood with ease. Just wait. Mr House and the NCR gonna rise together and Hank is gonna get involved with the enclave somehow, he did sound a lot like enclave in the final episode.
I would have much preferred to see the NCR not charge out of their defensive position into automatic gun fire. Also would have much preferred to see the Brotherhood using laser weaponry. would have show the difference between the two factions much better.
I’m a brotherhood fanboy but I also love the ncr and I’m sure one thing we can all agree on when we see the real battles between the two factions it’s going to be epic I can’t wait to see the full might of both factions slug it out

I was really hoping the guys with the flags would start fighting with them or something
I think the NCR we see in the show is more like a splinter faction rather than the actual NCR. At least that’s what I hope
Vault city, New Reno LA outskirts, all were said to be NCR hubs, shady sands was simply one city. They definitely need to remedy how powerful their shown. The NCR had 1000s of soldiers at their disposal
Not to mention supply lines that manufactured the service rifles armor and all how you said
@@yeetandrepeat4251 the show is set around LA so the NCR has definitely abandoned Southern California
@@fricei2867 definetly looks more like a militia then the NCR we see in new vegas
My headcanon theory at the moment is that when Shady Sands got nuked, the NCR
Given the NCR and Brotherhood were already in a 20+ year war, seeing Shady Sands get suddenly nuked meant the latter were able to immediately capitalise on the disorganisation set into the NCR ranks.
Love the brotherhood of steel. They go to war with zero tactics other than keep pushing forward no matter the cost..
@@TheSimGuy007 exactly except in this case you can bring the tank inside a building and not completely crush it
idfk why but I felt genuine sadness and dread when they said the NCR was basically destroyed
0:20 such a happy tree friends moment
Haven’t seen the show, but was inspired for my first play though of New Vegas. This highkey affirms my desire to see the NCR control New Vegas. DEMOCRACY AND CAPITALISM BABY WE ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE WOOOOOO
ya know, i may be just hoping for nothing. but that bear taking out knight Titus might be some god tear foreshadowing for season 2
I hope something emerges and they team up again like they did to fight the enclave in fallout 2
NCR my beloved
this is probably how season 2 will open. this song playing as absolute carnage unfolds throughout the LA boneyard. as Lucy and The Ghoul sneak through to wherever they're trying to get to next
tbh I just need Fallout to use more early 70s songs! like 76 did!
60s, not 70s I think
This is revenge for helios
Someone needs to explain why NCR uses modern gear in the show lol
How come NCR armor in this show looks so much different from the ones in new Vegas?
0:38 why does he have a fast helmet
i guess they are canon now?
@@jrny8922 No reason it shouldn't be. Same with the Ballistic Mask seen here too
why not?
Well fallout 2 had the P90, G11 and pancord jackhammer to I can see the fast helmet showing up
Fallout tactics had Humvees.
Just compare this to Sodaz's animation of the battle for Helios One and weep for modern cinema
@@bnau374 it’s a cool animation, I didnt think this scene was terrible, in season 2 we’ll see more of the NCR I’m sure of it.
@@doomlover9762 I'm not sure in what world you life for this being not terrible fight choreography, it's just missing a vanishing knife and we are at The last Jedi levels of trash
@@bnau374 I liked the chaos of the scene, it fits the post apocalyptic aesthetic. Also, it looks like a battle you’d see in the Fallout games so, that’s why I don’t think the scene is trash, especially not last Jedi trash lol
Eitheir :
1 : The Brotherhood doesnt know how to use power armor and the knights are poorly trained
Or
2 : This is just to try and make it look like "See the NCR is actually pretty strong", no they arent. Without the writers making the knights a bunch of clowns the NCR militia would have been crushed.
the Ghoul does state that the brotherhood training isnt what it use to be, i think they are all about numbers now a growing their presence in the show or atleast thats how it comes off to me
We wont go quietly the shows producers can count on that!
Nah I’m with the brotherhood for this one. AD VICTORIUM
RIP that dude who got turned into jelly by that vertibird.
The Rangers of the NCR patrolled the Mojave solo. They can handle the brotherhood with ease. Just wait. Mr House and the NCR gonna rise together and Hank is gonna get involved with the enclave somehow, he did sound a lot like enclave in the final episode.
The fact that the Ghoul fights along side the NCR and kills the knights is based.
This scene hits different now
I wish the armor for the NCR starts to look like the one from new Vegas in the next season
I was not expecting them to be NCR when watching. I fully thought it was just another Raider faction.
Can’t wait to see what courier is up to in new vegas. I hope hes not paying taxes for one.
its perfect!
I can never get those scenes of NCR troops wearing tactical FAST helmets out of my head.
Shady Sands has fallen. Millions must follow Moldaver.
Glad to see the NCR in the first season but was really hoping to see a livable Shady Sands
:25 i think the extra warm
MAXIMUS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN NCR BOY IF SHADY SANDS DID NOT FALL. HE WILL FIND HIS WAY HOME.
I would have much preferred to see the NCR not charge out of their defensive position into automatic gun fire. Also would have much preferred to see the Brotherhood using laser weaponry. would have show the difference between the two factions much better.
I’m a brotherhood fanboy but I also love the ncr and I’m sure one thing we can all agree on when we see the real battles between the two factions it’s going to be epic I can’t wait to see the full might of both factions slug it out
We won’t go quietly the Brotherhood can count on that
The Courier probably went to recruit a fossil.
*hears violin from a distance*
Those two standard bearers charging at each other like that is exactly what we needed to see
I like that one NCR dude had a FAST helmet in the Fallout universe for some reason
Nice edit and I like how they actually struggled a lot more than we've seen in some of the games even if they still won.👌
The brotherhood used the nuking of Shady Sands to completely wipe the floor with the NCR. Damn, what a way for the NCR to go, will miss them in future games.
Amazing edit
Such a cool fight scene
i dont like the fact that in the show i see theyre using normal guns when BoS used mostly laser guns/rifles
Damn they weren’t kidding when people said this was a comedy like they managed to make both sides incompetent
The first head died in the Mojave. This is just the bear finally starving to death
Brotherhood trying to be the opening scene from Jin-Roh, but that doesn't work when the other side has assault rifles
Brothers and Sisters, Shady Sands may burn but the NCR Stands! ❤
Thank you Moldaver
The last thing you never see.
1st Recon forever.
This fits so damn well.
Is nobody gonna mention the incredibly based Fallout: Red Star mention in here?
Remain calm.
Shady Sands endures.
Tandi lives.
There is much to be done.
Could maybe this series may have something to do Operation Sunburst in the near future?
i cant find anything on google about it.
what is it
operation sunburn!!
I think they meant sunburst.
no? O-S happened before F:NV, which the show is also after
Brotherhood would get shredded if the courier was there
God f-ing bless the NCR 🫡
