Moroccans would have never been able to take African rainforest. When you come into the rainforest, no matter your army equipment, you get reduced to that of the native population. Your long swords won’t have enough space to swing. Your horses will die from infestation. Your superior gun fire would be stopped by trees, your armour would be made useless by the heat and fatigue, your vision would be obscured by trees and darkness, your ranks/organisation would be disorganise by the labyrinth which is the forest and ultimately a weakened and tired army will be confronted by those who have adapted to fight in those conditions and slowly be poisoned to death or defeated by shorter sworded, lighter, faster warriors.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Scotland and their attempt to colonize Panama that was cut short by malaria and a storm sinking a large portion of their fleet.
Malaria is no joke I had it once and nearly died
The thought of having to work a ship or guard a camp in an inhospitable jungle populated by hostile natives Is almost unfathomable. It really brings into context how tough these explorers and settlers were.
As a side note I'm not a religious person, but a Mormon priest gave me a blessing and I recovered almost immediately... So make of that what you will I guess.

@youssef Sow but the saadi dynasties were more intelegent than all dynasties they were planing not just saying bissmilah let's go to this place and conquer it,and they were furious in fighting they were able to take down two empires in a matter of time and beleive me if the plague didn't happend at all they could changed the history and instead of sebta and melila steel occupied by the spalyon it would be the opposite of this and the latin american would be speaking darija.

Sweden did set up a colony in New Jersey. If Peter the Great had died in the first battle he fought with Charles of Sweden, then Sweden would likely have been as powerful as Austria at least. Denmark also had some colonies in the Caribbean.
