Appreciate the video. I have my UCG Max setup with Port 1 downlink going to a new Unifi 16 port switch. I see the new switch pulling an IP of 192.168.1.20 but it's not pinging which includes factory rest to device. i have tried turning off windows defender firewall with no luck. Maybe I am just missing something obvious but any suggestions on how to adopt the unifi switch behind the UC Max?
No offense but I stopped watching 10 seconds in when you said “ultra or max or something” two different products and you should know the difference. I would edit the video to take it out.
Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it and will work on improving. There are so many similar products in UI right now, and I didn’t have all the distinctions in mind while recording. I decided to keep it as is to maintain the flow of the one-take format.
in the first few moments of the video should probably had mentioned one of the bigger features included, IPS and IDS.
Pinned the comment so others can see. Good point that you mentioned, which I forgot to add.
Thank you for video! Same router costs around $600 here in melbourne

Make sure the 16 port switch is in a factory reset state and is ready to be adopted. There should be a blinking white or blue light I think.

Ya, you should probably edit that part out.
