Absolutely tremendous captivating video. You're exceptionally talented and it was extremely informative. I'm currently awaiting my EE Smart Hub Plus router to be delivered, however, I'm still waiting for the tracking number from Royal Mail. I have given your video a like thumbs up 👍🏾 and also subscribed to your channel as I know that it helps the channel
A good, informative post.. I have (yesterday) placed an order for an EE smart hub and full fibre 150Mbs b/band. This is to replace a for year old 100mbs BT hub, so I found your video is very useful, thanks.
@@dev-neil-a Thank you for your response. Hope you are well. Our b/band installation is due for next Wednesday (21st). The only thing I am slightly concerned about is the apparent size of the EE SmartHub. It looks larger than the BT Hub it is replacing and I have limited room (height-wise) in the TV cabinet, so fingers crossed!
I just went and measured my Smart Hub Plus and it is 5.1cm deep, 29cm wide (just under) and 18.5cm heigh. I would recommend having a bit more headroom above for heat ventilation. The depth didn't include any cables, just the hub.
You can use the EE Smart WiFi Plus extender with the Smart Hub Plus if you want to extend the range of the Wi-Fi. Do a search on TH-cam for "Extend your WiFi range with Smart WiFi from EE" and you should see a video from the EE Help channel that covers it. If you want to use another vendors meshed solution, you'll need to check with them if it can be connected via ethernet to the Smart Hub Plus. If it can, you can then disable the Wi-Fi on the Hub and use that mesh system instead.
I believe they do but that only applies to their full fibre (FTTP) packages. The service I took out was not a full fibre (FTTC) package as they don't offerit in my area as of yet.
Why did I get sent three boxes each with a hub in?…iam currently waiting fir an EE engineer but have been let down three times and thought I would try myself…could you help please
I don't know why they sent you three routers. When I ordered mine, I only received one. I don't think I can help with the issues your having with the engineer visit. I can only recommend getting on EE's case, perhaps Twitter / X might be an option to complain to them about the issues you're having.

@@dev-neil-a Well, thank you for going out of your way in measuring the smart hub, that was very kind - now I know what to expect.
Can you use this hub with a mesh system?

I thought the hub light was not bright looks bright at different angles
EE say 100mbps speed minimum is guaranteed?
