I need a video on an in-depth guide to counters/special evades. From my counting there’s Perception Revenge counter Counter with a melee Instant transmission counter(whatever X + A) is And just the perfect timed block counter. Idk when to use what and I’m just spamming all these buttons when I’m trying to get out of someone’s combo
Use your R1 to vanish if they have any breaks in their combo like when they knock you back and go for a follow up. For mid combo you can do your revenge counter but you’d probably be better off going for the block counter. That’s not the exact name but it’s when you hold the stick towards the opponent and press the attack button as they attack. It’s what the npcs are doing when they somehow perfect block you mid combo
@@user-sx4qu4dz9z I think the x + stick counter is the super counter. I have a very hard time with the timing on that one, especially in the middle of a combo. The R1 counter I get off pretty sporadically from spamming it and I do the same with the vanish x + a attack
Im on xbox Super counter- up on left stick plus x, counters rush attacks while being hit or right before the hit Perception- B, enters stance when button is held to parry oppenent rush attacks, does not take skill count but uses ki Super perception- same as perception kinda but works for blast and supers, not ulitmates, if held down at right time, for 2 skill counts you could deflect blast Revenge counter, right stick, for the price of 1 skill count you can deflect and counter your opponents melee attack and send them flying, i believe it can be used at any point in a combo Z counter, rb, simply countering your opponents follow up attack after a dragon rush High speed evasion, if you press block at the exact time your opponent lands a hit, you will vanish behind them. High speed movement- simply pressing block after you land a hit will vanish your character for a half of ki bar, you can do this consistently after hits as long as you have ki Hope this helps guys
My one issue with the training mode is that it only involves one specific thing at a time. I kinda wish there were a mode where you did actual fights, but fights where the AI was set in such a way that you need to take advantage of a particular mechanic (or maybe only a specific mechanic does damage - something like that).
I wont lie i think perception is broken as theres no use of resources and can be used mid combo in both block and hit state. Yes theres counters such as throw and ki blasts but having to do that all game is boring and keep the pace of the game so slow. Sparking Zero is supposed to be intense and keep us on our toes but perception completely ruins that
Think about it, a lot of the movement in this game uses ki, short dashes, dragon dashes and vanishes if I’m not mistaken, it won’t be so overpowered to the point someone can spam it because you’ll maybe only have enough ki to do it once or maybe twice in one match
