Haha thank you man, I’m really glad you found it so useful. I’m going to make guides on everything useful from offense, defense and combos so make sure you stay tuned for more tips! 🔥
Thanks broo this is exactly what i needed those story mode bosses slamming me because they're attacking me from behind has been so annoying 😂. Now i just have to practise my counters even further and then learn combos and ill be unstoppable. Keep up the great work as usual 👍
Hahaha yeah I heard the story mode bosses are actually quite difficult. This is a really easy way to get good damage from the back and be relatively safe from counters. Keep at it with the defense and combos, you’ll be up there in the ranks in no time! 😈
I’m planning to make a guide on those but the best way is to use the Super Counter. You can practise it in the tutorial and training mode but I’ll get a guide out soon if you want some in depth tips.
You should turn off all the controller assists though. They interfere and make you do auto combos and unintended defenses. I’m talking about how to do the Z Burst Dash with a smash attack you have to do small changes like waking for Ki to charge or dash to the right first (all shown in the vid).
Haha don’t worry man, once you grasp the fundamentals of this game you can be really good. I’ll be uploading more intermediate and advanced tech too which will help out at higher ranks aswell.
I’ll be making defense guides for countering techniques too but my advice for now would be to try and anticipate it if they’re spamming, use Perception on them as they’re very likely going to click Square to punch and then you auto counter it. There’ll be more counters and metas found soon as we play so dw, over time there’ll be new techniques.
@@VuceFinity thanks! I have another question. about that explosive wave tech, can i try it with kefla ss2 ult? her ult is also a explosive wave for the first part. i play on standard controls so it might be easier if u figure out how to dragon dash behind them after i kick em up
Don't hold block until they get behind you. You have to move camera and then block once they're behind you. If you hold block before they get behind you, you will block in the wrong direction and they will back shot you
I don’t think there’s any frame data collated yet as the game has very barely been out. There’s probably some mock up ones out there but we’ll likely have to wait for a while until there’s some “good quality” ones
It’s called a Perfect Smash which is a Level 2 smash attack. To do this you hold square (with any direction) until you see your body glow and let go. I show how to do a Perfect Smash in my Dragon Dash Cancel tutorial, if you’re still having trouble.

Sorry for the confusion, I’m playing on classic but I mention on the video to click your guard input which is R1 on Standard. The timings are the exact same as the video
What do you mean? A part 2 with specifically Z Burst Setups? I haven’t found any other specific tech with it but I’m uploading new offensive, defensive and combo guides if you want more tips!
Do you have any tips for countering super counters? I hate them as they cost nothing, can be used for any melee attack, and even lets the opponent follow up or use supers afterwards.
Super Counters are probably the easiest thing to vanish, obvious sound cue and telegraph, which is what leads into these infinite vanish wars in my matches these days.
Unfortunately it’s quite OP right now as there is very minimal cool-down between trying again, and it seems like there’s more frames to hit it, making it even easier. The only methods to beat it are ZCountering (vanishing), Super Countering them back and Revenge Counter works on it too. I’d recommend trying to learn the timing to Super Counter back, vanishing isn’t as guaranteed as you can quickly run out of Ki and Revenge Counter is easy to beat.
Vanishing does work and is semi easy to do but unfortunately the vanish chains get very repetitive and it’s just whoever has more Ki will win. The best way to go about it is doing a Super Counter back but of course you need to learn the timing.
Yeah the vanish chains do get repetitive quickly and it’s just a matter of who has more Ki. The best counter is just Super Countering them back but it’s hard to learn the timing at first.
Hey so I just tried to recreate this in training mode, out of 20 attempts I did 16 successfully and 4 off them “whiffed” with the smash animation instead. I tried to find the reason for why it sometimes whiffs but I can’t pinpoint it exactly, my advice is to play around with the timings of the Ki Charge, Z Burst Dash and Super inputs. Once you figure the timings out once, it’ll click in your muscle memory how it works, try to mimic the timing I have in the video with my controller. If I find a proper reason later I’ll come back to this and let you know.
Yeah it’s a bit annoying as there was tech you could do in Tenkaichi 3 to do this. With that being said, I think it might also be a good thing because Supers and Ults do a lot of damage in this game. There’ll probably be some new tech in the future to link everything together, we’re still very early into this game.
BRO U GOT IT U A REAL ONE CUZ I BEEN LOOKING AT ALL THESE OTHER VIDEOS AND THEY TALKING ABOUT IT U THE ONLY ONE TO SHOW AND TELL US

Subscribed because you give good advice and with control on screen
Thank you bro, I’m glad you’re finding the controller overlay useful. More guides coming soon! 🔥
@@VuceFinity you have any video on how to break out of combo from enemies?

@@VuceFinity that’s be great, I’m a noob and I need all the help I can get. And your a good teacher
Thank you so much for the kind words, it really means a lot to me. I’m trying my best to help everyone with my guides 🔥
super helpful, thank you dude
Thank you for supporting, there’ll be tons more useful guides coming so stay tuned 🔥
For the quick dashing behind the opponent all you need is to hold R2 and double tap X
Yeah that’s the Z Burst Dash but you have to adjust the inputs to use it with neutral and up smash attacks.
@@VuceFinity ohh cuz when i started i turned off all control assists

Amazing vid! Thank you
Thank you so much bro, make sure to practice this in training to pull it off consistently in game! 🔥
Legend thanks bro I couldn’t figure out how people got behind me last night without countering
Haha yeah I see a lot of people are using this trick to attack, now you can counter them! 🔥
Lol right tf on lmao woo
Thanks, we getting outta B5 with this one lmao

how do i counter the z dash tho? when i do it they hit me. but when they do i get comboed

You can either dash to the side or move in the direction they are coming from and spam ki blasts that should work pretty good

Smh just side step
Does anyone know the actual frame windows for these techniques that require timing? I can't find frame data anywhere

Wow I’m surprised i learned the first combo he did by myself
Ayy nice work. I was freestyling it at first, there’s a lot of different variations
love how he uses tenkaichi music tho haha
Haha yeah I felt like it’s a good match for the game we’re playing, also the current BGM of the game is copyrighted :/
@VuceFinity tbh. It's the best match. (Also great tips!)
Good match indeed, thanks for the support bro!
Wait, how do you teleport behind the opponent after initiating a smash attack?
It’s called a Perfect Smash which is a Level 2 smash attack. To do this you hold square (with any direction) until you see your body glow and let go.
I show how to do a Perfect Smash in my Dragon Dash Cancel tutorial, if you’re still having trouble.

You can do a High Speed Evasion/vanish the moment the counter’s about to hit you, just know the opponent can also do it after you vanish.

I don’t think that’s me, I didn’t play any online battles yesterday, only with friends. Did you beat the impostor though 🤔
